Went to Flower and Garden Festival this weekend...

Beautiful pics!! It looks like Disney is doing the Flower and Garden show the way it used to be. Yay! For a couple of years it seemed they had trimmed back, so I'm glad to see it's being done so beautifully again.

Your pictures are beautiful! I'll be there next week and can't wait to see this for myself. This will be my first time for the Flower and Garden Festival.

Beautiful!!! Thanks for the shot of spring! Can't wait for some color here other than drab brown and the blah green that's passing for grass.

They have trimmed back from previous years. If you have never been it is great, but if you have you can't help but notice what isn't there anymore.

Hi. Great photos! :thumbsup2 I have never been there during this time but I would love to go after seeing all of the beautiful photos. What month does the Flower and Garden start and finish? Thanks!

Flower & Garden is my favorite thing, it's always beautiful, but I have noticed the trimming since the first time I saw it 2005. I was hoping with the new sponsorship of HGTV maybe they would bring back some things and/or add some more things. Have you noticed this?

Thank you so much for posting the pictures!
It's good to see the floating flowers in the water this year. I specifically remember they were not there when we visited last year and was very disappointed.

We visited WDW for our first time this past weekend. We were blown away by what they are able to create with the flowers. My wife wants to go back again before it is over.

We were in Epcot on Friday and it was great. Beautiful weather (some clouds, a few moments of light drizzle/mist but never rained on us), the flowers were great. Last year we were down for the last weekend of F&G and a lot of flowers were burned out, dry, not blooming. Big difference coming in the first weekend and seeing everything just exploding in color.

I am curious, what are some of the items that are not there now?

This is the first time in many years we've been there at this time of year and we're excited.

Corey's pictures have us so excited to see them in person! Thanks for posting the link safetymom.

Some of the new things were stunning. The flower beds around the lake were the best I've ever seen them. The TS3 topiary is awesome, especially at night. I loved the new Cars topiary and the Bambi butterfly house as well. The only new thing that I was disappointed in was the Tangled one, which wasn't much. I know they've trimmed back on some things, but it was really great to see so many new ones. Oh, and I can't forget the Winnie the Pooh topiary! I think that was new, but I'm not certain.
