First of all, make sure you get over to It's a Small World in the evening. Not only are the lights amazing, but every 15 minutes, there are special holiday projections played to music from The Nutcracker Suite. They run right after the clock does it's thing. They turn the lights off for the projections.
They are still doing the projections on IASW during the fireworks. The fireworks were delayed by almost 10 minutes last night and we figured it had to do with changing over the projectors for the Remember projections.
Way more "snow" this year. We watched the fireworks at IASW and afterwards were absolutely covered with the snow. Also, they've added snow machines to the tops of the speakers that they use for Fantasmic, so it looks like the ROA area gets a ton of it too. As a general observation, there are many more snow machines in the areas where they have them.
DCA has a lot more decorations than it did last year. The tree is near the entrance to Paradise Pier and it looks great. There's a Tinkerbell at the top and apparently, it does something special to light the tree (wasn't over there after dark). I love the colors they used on this tree.
General observation--I don't care for DL's tree in the daytime. Too gold. It's fine at night, but during the day, it lacks for color. I also don't care for the Mickey 50 at the top. I would prefer a star. Otherwise, DL's decorations are great. I especially love Frontierland and New Orleans Square.
