Geez, I'm not sure what to think.
I had a 9am appointment. Went in, and this lady a "mentor" asked me and 2 other ladies questions, on goals etc... Then she shows me 2 machines. I do them. The other 2 ladies do them. We go get measured. We sit back down, here comes the SALES pitch!.... So what did we get today..
$149.00 sign up fee- less $100.00 for FIRST 100 signed..
$29.00 draft from checking per month
39.00 non-draft per month..
Or $49 sign up
$29 x 12 months 348.00
less 10% 357.30
plus 5% sales tax..17.86
total of 375.16
So my thought was to go through the circuit at least once, and see if I felt as though I was doing anything. The only thing I know is that the machine where you put sit, and your feet go between the rollers- then you straighen your legs etc... is not made for tall people. I had to use a wedge, as it was not comfortable on my tendons at all.
I never did see where the changing rooms are, I have no clue what the stretches are, only know how to use 2 machines...
SO in the end, what did I do??
I made an appointment for 9am tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning, I will sign up for a year, and pay in full. That way I'm obligated to go!..
Part of my "wish" was to get off my a** and get to curves when it opened.
Another bonus, when I go back to school in the fall, there is one very convienent to campus, I can go on lunch breaks.
They are open from 7am-7pm M-F right now, no weekend hours???
I'll tell ya in a few days if I think I wasted $400 bucks!
