Sorry if I sound like a Wendy Whiner, and don't get me wrong, I AM happy for all of you that are getting discounts for your upcoming trips...but the posted discounts end Sept 29, 2011 and I am planning on going the end of Oct 2011! I was so excited to turn on the computer this morning and see all the discounts, until I saw the end date!!! Oh well, I guess a little more waiting is in store for this one...I mean my trip IS over a year away...waiting is all I have right now...guess I need to get busy with other stuff to make the time go by faster...not!!!..

I am going Oct 10-13 and I just up my 20% bounceback room only to 25% for POP. I think FD is blacked out due to FOOD and WINE. Also it is Columbus weekend so some schools are offering fall break.

Don't feel bad. Both my upcoming Oct and Dec trips somehow managed to fall in the black out dates for free dining (Oct 9th-17th and Dec 4th-12th).

Hi! My name is Michele and I, too, am being a whiner! We have been going in Feb since 2007 during presidents week and have always had a discount. No discount during this week for 2011 = no trip.

At least we will be booking for Aug, just with no code (dates aren't part of FD).

So sad we won't be going in Feb 2011. Really, truly sad and bummed
We are considering a trip to somewhere else, but I feel guilty and sad about that too....

Why not try for a shorter trip if it's too expensive? Shave off a day or two? At least you will still get there!!

We wound up changing our dates to take advantage of free dining. Luckily since we were planning on a trip over summer vacation it wasn't a problem to switch from June to August. We hadn't anticipated any discounts for our trip..but when free dining came out the other day we looked at each other and said..OK AUGUST IT IS!
