we were at the swan for our anniversary on labor day weekend. I was also hoping for an upgrade to club, and did not know how to ask for it tactfully. I just made small talk with the guy checking us in. I went on about how thrilled I was to be there w/o kids, and that we were celebrating. It didn't work. We had a great room, but no upgrade. I was still happy just to be there, so I was ok with it. Then on our 2nd nite there, we came back to the room and had a plate of fruit/chocolate and a bottle of wine waiting for us with a really nice card! It was so nice!!!! Have a great trip, enjoy, and maybe some magic will be sent your way!!!
