Well we like the army so much, we signed up for 4 more

My Matt reenlisted today and emailed me some pics. This is has been a big decision/struggle for us because we are at the 10 year mark and we either get out now or go the rest of the distance. Guess what we are doing? My husband loves the army and believes in what he does and I believe in him. His contract is for another 4 years. I can't sign a contract tht is more than that. I'm not much into that form of committment Here are a couple of the pics he sent me and thought I'd share them with him.

I remember the 10 year decision well, that is one of the hardest decisions to make. But once made the last 10 years of DH's career passed rather quickly. God bless you both and many thanks to your DH for all the sacrifices he (and you) are making. As a retired military spouse I know the sacrifices you both make and I appreciate all he is doing for our country.

Congratulations! Just keep an eye on Finance! When my husband reenlisted in July DFAS just whoops didn't notice, so they stopped paying him!

Just last week we finally received our $7500 in back pay!

I like the DCU's better than BDU's. But I am NOT sure of these new ACU's! That BIG velcro patch on the arm is hideous. Sure, you can cover part of it with your combat patch, but for those that don't have one it looks silly! Did you know you have to wash them with certain detergents? Only about 5 choices. And I have to use HE detergents (front loader), so that left about 2 choices! UGH! I wonder if they are only using these detergents in Iraq! DH seems to be fond of his though. At least he only wears it one weekend a month so not much washing!
