Just want to give you a little head up... We are owners at Westgate, we actually bought in Gatlinburg (but have always traded to Orlando - hmmm.) Anyway... I booked our last vacation for the Villas - the unit they first took us too was worse than my first apartment (which was pretty bad!) I let our "resort guide", (which is really the salesman who will bug you all week) know that the unit was TOTALLY unacceptable and that I wanted another, being it was 10pm or later, he said we would take care of it in the morning. I told him under no circumstances was I staying there period ... it smelled of disinfectant, the bed looked slept on, the closet door was hanging off... the washer and dryer was in the breezeway - shared by everyone on the floor. He said that this building had not yet been renovated - I told him to take me to one that had been renovated. He hemmed and hawwed and I refused to "take care of it tomorrow". We were moved to A GREAT ROOM!! No complaints at all!! The room was gorgeous - big screen TV, etc, jacuzzi tub, etc.
My suggestion is if you are not happy - if something is wrong - not what you were told you were getting - make sure it is taken care of IMMEDIATELY, do not wait, do not pass go! Just be assertive and don't take "no" for an answer.
I think the comment that pushed him was when I asked him "How many prospective Owners coming here tomorrow morning for your spiel will see this unit"? Of course his answer was 0 - I then asked why not? He didn't have an answer.
I'm sure you will have a wonderful time there! We were basically there for a nice place to sleep between our trips to Disney and US and Sea World.
I hope I didn't scare you, just wanted to give you a heads up!
