I bit the bullet and booked our flight tickets. We live in Canada, and are flying from Montreal, Quebec, and all year I have watched flight prices in the $3000.00 range for the 3 of us. When AC released their 50% off sale for bookings prior to Dec 22 ( valid for travel into Oct/2009)... I jumped and booked. I got us on a Canadian Carrier the whole way through... Buying the flights was a little scary as it is a committment to this trip, and as you all know, once the flights are bought, there are no refunds!!! I hope all goes well between now and June. and we do not get any big loops thrown at us!!!!
:thumbsup2

I am the original poster of this post, and now it looks like naosam originated the post. Why would this be? All the previous responses have somehow disappeared too?:confused3

Two different threads, chimo2u. Your thread was last week (Dec. 15) and is on page 2. naosam got his/her deal today. :thumbsup2

We got a good deal as well with the 50% off. Myself and some gf's from work go every May long weekend. This year we decided to fly out of toronto. When you work in the exchange/time travel it was worth it for us.

Hi! ;) It would seem that way, but the wording is exactly the same as what I posted, so that is what threw me for a loop..... wierd;)

HA, HA!! Disregard that.. I just read naosom's post VERY carefully... she/he must have copied my post from another disney planning message board and inputed his/her info in the applicable parts to their trip. I just noticed the only different wording was they are from Montreal, where I posted Edmonton, and $3000.00 versus my $ 4000.00 LOL

Do you know if Air Canada has a good services

I really like a/c services. They let you have 2 carry ons free, and have nice, newer planes... usally with in-seat TV.... which is a VERY important service with 2 teen boys, LOL! :)

We booked AC from Calgary to LA return in April. Came out to just under $1,900 for our family of 6. That seems pretty good to me!

3 months to go!

I should have booked with that deal for our sept 2009 trip. I think I have to start looking for deals. If anyone sees any deals please post!

I looked at expedia a few times, but then I just booked through the AC website.

The cost of flying in the north is so high that $300 round trip per person to LA from Calgary seemed like a good deal. We're down in Edmonton for a hockey tournament for the kids the weekend before we fly.

To fly my wife from Hay River, NT to her family home in Nunavut would cost $2,000. All six of us a flying for less to LA. So, we're happy.
