Well.. Valentines Day is over - so how was it for you? *Big News Page 3 from Crissup!

We had a nice day here. DH and I exchanged cards, and candy (the sugar free stuff is pretty good, but DON'T eat too much of it at once!) and I got him the Catch Me If You Can DVD and he got me a remote control lamp switch (hey, I actually love it!). We got the kids a puzzle and a toy, plus some candy. We don't go out that night (too crazy) but celebrate the anniversary of our first date instead, cause it is just a few days later. So.. we will go out on Friday night instead. For dinner we had steak and crablegs. YUM!

WOW! A DIS engagement! Congrats Crissup & CarolAnnK!

DH & I went to Outback at a little before 5 pm. (we had tried to call ahead to get put on the list, but could never get thru!) We were told that it was a 2 1/2 hour wait! No problem - we went to the mall, DH got some nice cashmere sweaters on clearance at Macy's & I got a T-shirt (he got a much better deal!) We went back to the Outback to get a beeper, watched the rest of the Sharks game on their bar TV (Sharks won in OT!) We had a delish dinner but, again, we were too stuffed to even try for dessert! My DH actually bought me a card (he usually forgets to get one) AND he bought me a sugar-free Whitman's sampler! I gave him a Dove milk chocolate rose and a package of heart-shaped Dove chocolates.

My DBF flew out on Friday to spend the weekend with me. That in itself would have been enough, but he had planned a WONDERFUL day for us. DBF started the day by giving me a surprise...an "I Love You" ring...it's so beautiful, white gold with little diamonds. We went to a city nearby and spent the entire day there. We went to an arcade and played some games. We had lunch, then we were supposed to go to a butterfly house but we didn't know that it wasn't open until spring. Then we went to see a movie (Butterfly Effect~awesome movie), then he gave me my 2nd present ~ a HUGE Mickey Mouse plush from the Disney Store, then we went to TDS for some more shopping, he bought me some tulips, and we went to dinner at The Olive Garden (where our first date was). I love him so much and I had a WONDERFUL day!

Thanks for the great wishes everyone!! Carol and I are very happy to be able to share this with our DIS friends!! It's always great to see so many well wishes for our little bit of excitement. Looks like everyone posted!! LOL!! I can't believe Dan Murphy hasn't run across this post yet though. LOL!! We have not decided yet exactly when or where, but you can bet we'll keep ya's all up to date!!
