That was the deal he made be out of Russia and being Belarus so why was his private plane in Russia? Am I missing something here? The point for Putin and Russia isn't to be subtle. They want to send a clear, obvious message to any traitors that they and anyone with them, even accidentally, will be eliminated. So, don't start something, don't help them, and don't even be around them if they do do something.

Hey, it was an accident. Someone left a window open on the plane and it fell to the ground. Happens in Russia all the time. Seriously though, I would bet that since it was a private plane that most, if not all of the occupants were part of Prigozhin's upper circle.

The flight was from Moscow to St. Petersburg. So why was he hanging out in Moscow walking the streets if he was in danger from Putin? Poland and NATO are the ones who benefit from his death. The Polish border is where the Wagner group had their troops. There has been a build-up of Nato troops in Poland for a while now.
