got me thinking....
Even though I eat like crazy on vacation ( free dinning) I always come home 5- 10 lbs lighter... must be all the walking...

so I googled and found out the avg disney visitor walks 12 miles a day..

so I set a goal for myself to go out and walk 5 miles a day....
not including what I walk normally just living( must be another mile or 2 right???)...

I walked 4.5 miles yesterday ... and so far today Ive walked 4.2 miles and I still have my night time walk to go...

any of u walk alot daily??? how do u stay motivated???

I walk all the time (at least 5 miles a day minimum) plus I'm a runner. How do I stay motivated to walk? I own a dog! Great job, by the way!:thumbsup2

I run and walk a lot. If I didn't, I could not eat like I do and still be relatively slim.

I own a treadmill, but hate to use it. So, unless it's torrential, I put on my old, can get wet shoes, a hat to keep the rain out of my eyes, and head out. Now, I do not do this in the winter, because I hate to be wet and cold.

Leslee Sansone...Walk Away the Pounds....turn the TV on...pop in a DVD...and go.

Wearing a step counter, having a dog, and walking with a friend are all things that keep me going.

Well try one in the morning and one at night. Two dogs are harder, just because there's twice as much stopping to pee, poop, and sniff.

If they're not great leash walkers, try using a head collar. I used a Halti on my dog, annoyed her, but made me smile. She was a samoyed, so a natural puller, which made just walking a pain in the rear. And with the Halti on, there was less stopping for sniffing.
