Mom and I are going on our very first Mom/daughter trip to WDW in Jan. I am excited too! I can't wait to finish reading your report. Just your airplane pics got me sooo excited about our upcoming trip. LOL, and I dislike flying but it takes me to WDW so I tolerate it.

Aww, that'll be fun. Haha thanks for reading, and I feel the same way about flying! I always get a headache on planes.

The France movie is great, isn't it? And I didn't realize the movies in Canada & China didn't have seats..I've never seen them before..but they should get seats!

It is! I can't wait to see it again. I wanted to see it twice this trip but we didn't have time. They should! They have bars to lean on, and even though the CM says they're not built to support your weight, people sit on them anyways.
Haha I know! But flights don't look to bad for the beginning of October. They're 600 some dollars and on Disney Movie Rewards I have enough points for a $100 Delta certificate so that saves us some. Disneyland seems so fun though!

Then, we went over to see Impressions de France.

We never saw this before so I was excited. This film is lovely! France is SO beautiful, it's incredible. And mom loved that they had seats. She said Canada and China should follow and do the same. I had forgotten that the show lets out in the gift shop (How could I? Did I forget where I was? Hah! ) so that was a nice surprise. One of these would have been a nice addition to my room.

I love the music in this movie. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Disney tiredness and this music could easily combine to put me to sleep here. Unfortunately, my snoring might cause people to think there is a new attraction, The Monster Who Rose from France, so I probably should stay awake.

I agree with your mom on the chairs. I wish Canada at least had benches.

They took some liberty with the Eiffel Tower colors, but they are pretty.

Yeah, chairs would be nice for the 18 minute(?) shows! I actually saw some kids just sitting on the floor the whole time because they were so tired.

As we continue our tour around World Showcase, we passed by a cute window display.

We were about to head on over to the next country, but there was some entertainment going on! I'd seen photos in other TR's, but it was very cool to see in person.

He is incredible! I joked that I'd have trouble just putting the chair up on the bottles, let alone stand on top of a few...UPSIDE DOWN! Wow!

We quickly passed by the country that gets the least of our love, but don't worry, we spent some time there later!

And made our way here

I really wanted to get some Kakigori after hearing about it on the DIS. My mom was a little hesitant, but I told her it was just like a snow cone - only better. We both got rainbow.

We wanted to sit down and eat, so we went towards the back of the pavilion and found this cute little area.

The Kakigori was GREAT, and wonderful for a hot Florida afternoon! We wanted to get another during the trip, but never did. While we were sitting there, guess what I saw....

This little cutie! He was just chilling in the pond by himself. Must be a nice life.

After we said goodbye to my new friend, we explored Japan!

I remember we stopped to get our Duffy KIDCOT stamped. The CM was SO incredibly nice! She seemed to genuinely care about each guest and was excited to write their name in Japanese. Her happiness was contagious.

Oooo, I've never heard of Kakigori. I must try that. I'm not a huge fan of snow cones, but if they are double that I really want to try them And I love the little duck friend you found. It's so funny how they are always in World Showcase

Yes, it's very cool. I wish we watched more of the little entertainment this trip, but like I keep saying there's always next time.

They're way better than snow cones, definitely try it! Haha yeah, they're really everywhere.

I know! When we were walking away I was like "Awwwwwwww she was so nice. "

Where we left off, we were about to check out the store in Japan. But first, we went to check out the Spirited Beasts museum to the left of the Kidcot stand. I could swear I took some pictures here, but maybe not. It was interesting, but so quiet! When I said something to my mom I felt like I was yelling, so I had to whisper. We made our way on to the store after checking out the displays. I wanted to try some Japanese candy, but I ended up getting a snack that was kind of like nutella and cookies. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it held me over till dinner. The merchandise in the store is precious! This is the only picture I got though.

I got 4 of these last summer and they're up in my room in a little case. I forgot what some of them meant, but now I know. I have pink, green, white and gold (not too sure about the last one, I'm too lazy to go check!)

I bought a poster from the store that had the Japanese symbol for "Dream" on it. It's pretty! Then, we left the store and walked over to The American Adventure.

I saw this wonderful photo-op. With a little touching up from photoshop, I love how it turned out!

And we arrived.

Aww, check out the little fountain.

It must have been around 5, so we didn't have to wait that long until showtime.

We watched the Voices of Liberty. They're AMAZING! Do you notice the person in front of me to the right? Yeah, I don't know how, but I didn't notice his mask when I was sitting there!

We made our way up the escalators, well, I took the stairs just because I felt like it.

Great show, I love the Golden Dreams song. Makes you feel very patriotic. Mom always cries even though I tell her to stop or people will think she's gone completely insane in Disney! I was still hungry and was craving a pretzel from Germany so we headed there. First we stopped in Italy to get our Kidcots stamped. I always like spending time in this pavilion because I am half Italian after all. Gotta represent.

In Italy, Mickey Mouse is called Topolino.

Those little bear bowls are adorable and I love the meanings behind them. I think they should call the Gold one the Disney bowl, I mean it epitomizes what Disney is all about. I mean, the first four words are Disney's current catchphrase, logo... oh gosh, it's on the top of my tongue, whatever, you know what I mean.

Oh, that picture across the World Showcase lagoon is gorgeous. I really should try to edit some pictures I have in Photoshop, I know the system so well and yet I never touch up photos :/ Maybe I can make a nicer desktop background

I LOVE the Voices of Liberty! They are just amazing. I've heard many acappella groups and it is hard to make everything sound so nice when singing acappella and these guys are just amazing. Omg... I could listen to them all day... I wonder if they have an album or something out, that would be something I could totally see myself listening to on my iPod.

Ooooo... the Italy pavilion. I'm part Italian too... I don't know what fraction or percentage, but my mom's side of the family is very much Italian so a BIG portion. Anywho... it looks so pretty. I love how it looks at night, all lit-up during IllumiNations. Great food there too, really need to find out which of the restaurants there made the food for the buffet I was at on Italy Isola. Oh, Mickey Mouse is Topolino in Italian? My life is complete!

I'm was really good at it before the virus and now I kind of have to re-learn everything.

I don't post too much on the TB because like on the hangout threads where people post random stuff I never know what to add in. And barely anyone knows me there so I hang out in the Trip Report section.

I replied back too! And I said I was going to go to bed, but here I am. I swear I will after replying to this haha.

That sounds like me! I love being Italian. I wish I lived closer to my relatives though (they're all in PA - I'm in NY) because Italian families are great.

Join the club. I have no life whatsoever, which is why I'm kind of excited for school to start so I'll have stuff to do! I'm so lame. I have to finish up some summer work for AP Global though, so I should probably do that tomorrow and get it over with.

We really are. But now I'm going to bed for real, NIGHT!
