Well, not an intro, but I'm back home for good

Came home from Afghanistan, April 11th 2011 last year, was supposed to go to DW in October, buttttttttt got sent to Manana Bahrain for a "6 month obligation to receive full benefits". So, my freeby trip got canceled and I got stuck back in the gulf

Anyway, 'thanks' to the events in Syria, the closure and withdraw of the embassy and diplomats based in Damascus, means the withdraw of the MCESG on duty there. Long story short, they were transfered to Bahrain, and we got back stateside early last week. :dance:

Just figured I'd stop by, say hi again and start obsessing over my October trip this year

I can't wait til October. Hopefully a 6 night/7 day trip. We like to go all out with the dining, so free dining usually allows us to pay $4xx for deluxe prorated with a free plus dining at moderates, so hopefully we can get that this year. Probably going to be at All-Star Sports or Port Orleans, I LOVE Wilderness Lodge and have been DYING to see Animal Kingdom, but for two people I can't justify $1,600 for resort preference

I am so glad you are back in the good ole USofA. Have a wonderful time at WL--soaking up all the pine scents and gyser spray.

Like you we will be there 10/26-11/2. Love going for Halloween. Matter of fact my MIL volunteers here at the hospital where I work. She just popped in my office to say she was ready to go and was already mentally packing her bags. Gotta love a MIL that thinks like that--I have a great Disney lovin DH, too.
