Well I went and purchased my first Magic Band for the parks

Well I went ahead and actually bought a Magic Band. First one I have ever paid for. I got the white one with the gold castle on it and Mickey is on it too. Got it off of Ebay cheaper than on Disney's site. Brand new, unopened. Will link it to my profile when I get it for my upcoming trip in about three weeks. I must admit, I have so many of the "free" bands I was wanting something different. Might get the light blue/green DVC member band as well.

Yes as long as it is in “link it later” mode and has never been linked to another MDX Profile nor been stolen from a Disney shop.

This is part of our trip ritual's. We never get the plain free bands. Every Hanukah before our trip I buy bands that reflect each person's personality. My 18 year old has 3 different bands from Alice In Wonderland and her little sister has 3 different Ariel ones. Next year they are planning on getting me either Grumpy or Stitch.

I am thinking it will be fine in that regards. But you never really do know with Ebay.

They won't do that, they want to sell those colors.

A few years back they added purple to the free choices so it could happen. We can always hope.

Well I got it linked and all is good. I can somewhat see me wanting more special bands, ugghh, that's not good. But I have a couple questions. How do I get some of the old ones I no longer use off of my MDE? Any just how many will Disney allow you to have?
