You made me cry with your kind words
I really do appreciate the support and I know I will need it in the coming months.
I'm doing the Dr Phil plan and I feel really good about it!
My goal is 46 pounds by June 5th. We are going on a Cruise to Alaska in June so I want to be a healthier for when we go so I can hike the glaciers like I used to
Dr Phil says to make a mark on your calendar when you want to have the weigh gone by and then count back and put another mark half way to that date so that you should lose half of your goal by then. Makes so much sense to me but Ive never done that. I always say " I want to lose 20 pounds" and dont go any further than that.
He also says that you should write down HOW you plan on getting there so I did and I began a weight loss journal to help me through this. I have 40 weeks to lose at least 46 pounds, a totally do-able goal!
My long term goal though is to be healtheier and live longer than my dad did. He died when he was 56. Thats only 24 years from now. I want to live longer that!! I cant even imagine only having 24 years left.
It has to stop NOW.
I have to get healthy and get my life under control.
I know we all can do this!!
