It's a big step to post a "before" photo. <i>Your</i> "before" photo is a lot better looking than mine was ;)

You're going to do great, I'm sure of it. Would you do me a favor and post to the WISH challenge thread too? Posting there makes you an official WISHer. You will find the Challenge thread right <b>HERE</b>.

I use the challenge thread to make up the roster and I hate when I leave WISH friends off the roster :)

I think that's a WONDERFUL idea. How great of you to shoot your before and post. I can't wait to watch you shrink up. This is so exciting i'll surely be looking for your transformation pictures in the coming months. You can do it and your so pretty your gonna be one hot momma before long!!!!!!
 
But if it makes you feel any better, my "after 80 pounds" photo will be like yours now. That probably doesn't though, does it?? We all have that "line on the scale" that if we cross it, we know we've gone too far.

I NEVER would have thought when I was at WW and 126 pds. that one day I would be 286. If you would have told me that I would have gotten my jaw wired shut!!:o

Don't worry, you won't be where you are now for long, right?:D And you've joined a great bunch of people here.

I really do appreciate the support and I know I will need it in the coming months.

I'm doing the Dr Phil plan and I feel really good about it!

My goal is 46 pounds by June 5th. We are going on a Cruise to Alaska in June so I want to be a healthier for when we go so I can hike the glaciers like I used to :)

Dr Phil says to make a mark on your calendar when you want to have the weigh gone by and then count back and put another mark half way to that date so that you should lose half of your goal by then. Makes so much sense to me but Ive never done that. I always say " I want to lose 20 pounds" and dont go any further than that.

He also says that you should write down HOW you plan on getting there so I did and I began a weight loss journal to help me through this. I have 40 weeks to lose at least 46 pounds, a totally do-able goal!



My long term goal though is to be healtheier and live longer than my dad did. He died when he was 56. Thats only 24 years from now. I want to live longer that!! I cant even imagine only having 24 years left. :(


It has to stop NOW.

I have to get healthy and get my life under control.


I know we all can do this!!

You are so motivated Binny! I can tell from all your positive posts.
Keep us informed on how your food plan works. I need more structure. I have been just trying to eat well, and exercise, but that's easy to say...hard to do. I also like Dr. Phil, and plan to watch his Monday show about weight.:D
 
I think it's GREAT that you're plugged in, forming a game plan, and attacking it!! You'll find these boards to be a great sounding board for those times when you think you can't avoid a craving or need help recovering from a bad day- each day is new- and once you start changing habits and seeing the weight come off- it gets much easier!!!

I can't wait to see those during, during, during and GOAL pictures!!! Maybe buy a dinner dress for the cruise that would fit you in 46 pounds- then keep it in your bathroom next to your scale- you WILL wear that thing and it will FEEL great!!! I've gone form 2X's to give room in size 14's after just 46 pounds! The more I lose- the more I want to hit GOAL- because it really seems close- although I've still got 45 more to go!! :) So I buy inspiration items- my first was a pair of Liz size 16 jeans- I put them on yesterday and they almost fell off! :) Now I have a pair of 10 pants I want to wear at Christmas- just reward yourself and you'll enjoy the road DOWN!! :)

I'm glad to finally "see" you, binny! I think you look terrific, but I know exactly where you are coming from - we all get to that point where we say enough is enough. I'm so proud of you for taking the Dr. Phil challenge, you can do it, I know you can! :)
