Yep I hear ya Ann...Or when your Birthday gift is wrapped in Christmas paper, because they have plenty of Christmas paper in the house and no B day paper. And FORGOT to buy the b day paper. Nothing like complaining about this as adults LOL

YEP, I get the Birthday/Christmas present too, usually at Christmas!! I didn't like having my birthday in December because it was always dark at my birthday parties and we couldn't go outside..... I always say I was born in the wrong part of the country (Massachusetts) at the wrong time of year (December)... so what did I do??? my Daughter was born in Massachusetts in January!!! and she gets nothing for her birthday, because everyone has spent their money on Christmas!!! Oh Well!!

Start celebrating "1/2" birthdays - 6 months before the occasion have your "1/2 birthday party" to avoid the conflict.

Hey, I'm a May birthday (for those of you who haven't figured out my shameless user name - rae5/19 - the 5/19 is my day!) - and although it's not like a major holiday, Mother's Day is always the week before.

Michael was due 5/19 - but was a week late - now you tell me if that wasn't going to be my Best Birthday Present ever!!!!!
