I am Back from my 3 night 4 day saty at disneyland, I just went with my 5 year old daughter, we stayed in the sequoia lodge, it was nothing special but the staff were helpful, they met my requests of a room close to reception and I got it on the same floor 2 doors down from the automatic doors just near to where they have the little stage for there character meets, room 2185 I think. I regret askong for a room that close now, it was so noisy, there must have been kids playing hide and seek in the corridors till all hours of the morning!
I thought in general the food was crap! the hotel breakfasts and the breakfast in cafe mickey was the best though, We ate at annettes diner and the food was hard, we ate at some restaurant in the park to do with toads and the food there was really dry, we ate at some pizza place and the food there was halfway decent, my daughter had pasta bolognaise, the wouldnt do a cheeseless pizza! She ate the pasta but then hurled it back up afterwards! the nicest thing for me was a hot chocolate and a mickey mose shaped sweet chocoate filled bun type thing.
Saturday was really busy, weather wasn't to bad, we only got on one ride (teacups), we saw wiinie the poohs winter show, didnt get a good seat though as we were right at the back, we watched the candleabration although we were right at the big tree on main street so didn't see any of the characters dancing but did watch the castle being lit up. We stood in the same place for the fantilllusion so had a great spot for it, even if it meant freezing our behinds off!
Sunday it was freezing, it was also very busy, we went on snow white, pirates of the caribbean, haunted mansion, peter pan, and pinnochio, my daughter was scared of them all! We also watched mickeys winter wonderland and got right up front for candleabration and the 4pm parade.

The end of that second day my daughter was cold hungry and miserable, a member of staff at sequoia lodge kindly gave her an apple from the restaurant and it made her day, all she wanted was an apple and we couldnt buy one anywhere.
Monday 3rd day was much quieter, weather was a bit warmer, we did some rides again, but we also went on big thunder mountain my daughter loved it, we went on dumbo and the carousel. We then went over to the studio park and went on crush's coaster, again my daighter loved this, it seems it is visual and sounds that scare her more than the rides itself. We also went on the flying carpets, the spinning cars and the studio tour.
the following are from the once upon a dream parade
I shall tell you all about the rest of our stay when i am not so tired, plus I shall add more pics if you like and some video footage, i got some of the haunted mansion, pirates of the caribbean, snow white, pinocchio, peterpan, and buzz lightyear.
The Pirates of the carribean ride is closed until december by the way!
On Monday night we did buffalo bills, I guess the food provided is ok if you like that sort of thing, I dont, my daughter does not do well with eat type products so i got her a vegetarian option, I dont think that nor the childs menu is child friendly. She got wedges, pasta and green beans, the plate they brought it out on was red hot and she burnt her hand! The chilli was nice as was the apple cobbler I wasnt fussed on the rest, the wedges were nice though. I had lots of top ups of drinks to keep me going. Aside from the food the entertainment was great, I got some footage of it on camera.
Last day Tuesday, we had a breakfast in cafe mickey and it was really good. We went to the park and met a few more characters and went on the cars ride in adventure land and then went on buzz lightyear and star wars. We then went to the disney shop and to macdonalds. We collected our luggage and walked over to the new york hotel for our bus to the airport. It was nice to see the other hotels.
