Well, heck......

Oh, I am SO sorry! I've had to cancel a number of trips over the years due to kids' illnesses, injuries etc. I know how terribly disappointing it is.

The only silver-ish lining is that when you replan it you'll know what hotel, ADR etc you want. It's not quite as hard as planning the whole thing from scratch. I hope you can get there soon!

Hopefully your daughter has a quick recovery and you stay healthy.

I’m so sorry!!! That’s a bummer but your health is number 1

I hope you all take care and maybe instead of next week you can go for the holidays! 😍

Oh, that is so disappointing. I'm so sorry. I hope that she's ok and that you stay healthy.

Do you have a rescheduled date in mind? Hopefully soon!

Oh nooooo. We fly out next week and I'm so worried something like that might happen. Hopefully it will make the trip all the sweeter when you finally do get there. I'm so sorry.

So sorry to hear that!! My friend just caught COVID and it hit her hard... we *think* she'll be good to go by my dates (a little more than 5 weeks from now), but she's worried she might still be low energy by then.

I always get really worried I'm going to get stuff deleted so please please be respectful and super on topic if anyone answers this.... has anyone noticed any masking still at Disneyland recently? My friend and I obviously don't expect any by others, and aren't looking for others to protect us, I'm just sort of self conscious since the world is "back to normal" if I've got one on out in public... are the two of us going to be the only ones, or is it still an occasional sight to see?

We are scheduled to fly from Germany on saturday, but my fiance is down with massiv stomach pain (without any other symptoms). If it isn't getting better by friday evening we have to cancel our trip too. Nearly 1 year of planing and money spending and now she's getting ill. I hope our insurence will cover most of the costs if we have to cancel.

I have no idea about DL. but I see people all over the place wearing masks. Grocery store, home depot, etc. We still carry a few in car just in case we need one at a Dr's office, and a visitor at church ask for one, I got one from the car. (those were nice, individually wrapped, no idea where I got them)

I don't think anyone will blink.

I wear a mask at Disneyland every visit. In June, I did not see anyone else masking. No one gave me a second thought, look or comment, unlike the local Vera Bradley store (located in a very conservative county near Denver), where the sales women harassed me unending, questioning why I was wearing a mask. Was I sick? Had I been sick? Was I immuno-compromised? Now, I have an anxiety condition that when I perceive people attacking me, it’s a huge trigger. I didn’t say anything more, did my return and got out.

Why do people feel they have the right to question ANYTHING another individual chooses to do? Seems like people nowadays have no sense of boundaries.

I say, do what you feel comfortable doing. You have to do what you feel protects you.

I go to Disneyland regularly and always wear a mask. I usually don't have it on when I am walking outdoors. I wear it when I get in lines, go indoors, if I'm waiting for a show, and if I am exiting the park when it is very crowded (ex. after fireworks). I see other guests, as well as plenty of CM, wearing masks as well.

I always mask up on the plane when I fly and our local hospital is having employees mask up and patients in exam rooms etc...I am seeing a lot more folks out and about with masks on. Do what makes you feel comfortable! If someone says anything or rolls their eyes you can always stick out your tongue or make a face behind your mask! :earboy2::wave2: Have fun!

I've seen both guests and CMs who still mask, and it seems like no one gives it a second thought. It's not an overwhelming amount of people who are still doing it, but I do see it regularly and have not witnessed anyone being harassed or given dirty looks for it.
