well my dad just wrote me. There is no way he could go. He just found out the ppl who were suppose to pay him money from the bad car acdent he had. Where he was planing on getting there money to possibility go to DL with us....well the stupid drunk ppl didnt have insurerince. And he was just told

Now he has to talk to his atty and see what they have to do he owes the hospital like 50K pluse the old car company and the new car..all was going to be paid between his insuericne and the other money he was suppose to get.

It sucks

But im already saying well ok lets plan Next Christmas 2009. Trying to make it where we can all go, maybe even my dh's parents

Oh well that sucks that they can't go... I know you were kinda 50/50 on wanting them go in the first place but still........... You know I hate how you can be doing everything right and someone does something stupid and EVRYTHING of yours get ruined!!! I hope they can find a way to work things out with your dad!!!! There has to be something.... Its just not fair that some stupid people got drunk and now hes paying for it for the rest of his life!!!! But i hope you have a fun trip and that it works out for your 09 trip!!

I'm sorry, Jade. That is awful that he is stuck and the driver had no insurance. I hope he can work that out somehow. Maybe a future 09 trip will be a good thing, who knows?

At least you have your upcoming trip with your DH and DS!
