For those of us not lucky enough to be present at the RVA DISMeet, let's have a chat about what we would do if we had one day at WDW/our perfect day.

Let's try to keep it realistic (no magic pixie dust to allow us a night in the castle) or a day that magically has 72 hours in it so we can do everything in every park etc.

Mine would be:
Start with an early breakfast at Cape May Cafe (staying at YC as it's the only resort I've stayed at)
Then off to MK as close to RD as possible without blazing through breakfast in too much of a hurry.
Hit up Adventure land, JC, PotC, a morning Dole Whip!
Then off to Splash and BTMRR.
Then swinging back past HM.
Lunch at BOG, then do Fantasy Land (NOT small world! Ergh!!) and Space Mountain and Monsters Inc laugh floor.
Spend some time looking in the shops on Main Street and grabbing a Frozen coffee drink at the Starbucks/Main Street Bakery.
Then depending on the time, off to the Yachtsman for an early dinner or to EPCOT for drinking around the world, or... Just margaritas at La Cava, then dinner, and hightail it back to MK for Wishes and re-do my fave rides for late EMH.

Yes a full on day, but I've only been to WDW once, so my perfect day wouldn't be a slow, people watching day!

It's so funny that you started this. When I was watching the RVA meet, I immediately started plotting out my perfect day at WDW. So, here's mine :)

-Wake up from a restful night's sleep in an MK facing room in the Contemporary
-Head to MK for an 8:05am breakfast at Crystal Palace and gorge myself with breakfast lasagna
-Hang out in MK until about 11am. Hopefully I've fastpassed SDMT, Space Mtn, and BTMRR for my morning...and maybe work in IASW, HM, Tiki Room before leaving
-Monorail to TTC & Monorail to Epcot
-Ride LWTL and SSE
-Hit the WS for margaritas from La Cava and do some shopping/snacking around the WS for the afternoon (hopefully involving sharing some shwarma at Tangerine at some point)
-Late afternoon head out through the IG and catch a boat to DHS
-Ride Star Tours at DHS and if it's not too bad...single rider line at RnR...TSMM if the line is not totally insane
-Take a bus back to the Contemporary to rest a little and freshen up for dinner
-Dinner ADRs at Cali Grill around 8pm, window table, custom cake hopefully being served right around the start of Wishes
-It's evening EMH in MK, so we head back in for the 2nd MSEP...then try and hit PotC, Peoplemover, another run on BTMRR and SDMT, maybe Jungle Cruise, and just some wandering to appreciate the details and take some nighttime pics of the park
-Be around MSUSA for the Kiss Goodnight
-Walk back to the Contemporary and enjoy the peace of WDW in these early morning hours

Wake up in the Poly and have an early breakfast at Kona Cafe. Take a boat ride to MK.

Morning at MK. Be Our Guest for lunch. Stay there till about 4.

Early dinner at Jiko. Relax at the AK Lodge for a little.

Epcot at night with Extra Magic Hours. Illuminations.

Walk over to the Beach Club and go to bed.

Wake up in any size unit at Old Key West - they're all great, and make me feel relaxed, and "at home".
Head to Magic Kingdom, breakfast at Crystal Palace and hi to Pooh & Friends.
Carousel of Progress, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (because I've never been on it).
Iced hazelnut coffee from somewhere other than Starbucks (my GI system don't like Starbucks)
Hang out on MK Train Station balcony, people watching and just "being".

Monorail to Epcot.

Figment (hi Kathy! Big fan here too - though of COURSE i'd rather see the original version with you!) :)
Soarin'
Jammitors
Hang out in World Showcase, people watching, just enjoying.
Try School Bread in Norway @ some point (still have not tried yet), and perhaps another flavored iced coffee or a diet soda
Dinner at Biergarten in Germany

Boat to Studios (or name to be announced l LOL)

Fantasmic! (LOVE Sorcerer Mickey, and LOVE this show!!!!!)

Boat to Downtown Disney - Peanut butter and hot fudge Sundae at Ghirradelli's, spend rest of night people watching and enjoying

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL - Having the sense of peace and "being at one with myself" and joy that being with good friends (who will of COURSE be spending this day with me!!) brings me, and all the lover and laughter that comes with that.

Nothing else in life REALLY mattesr, or is better than that, in the end......

I would start my day with breakfast in Epcot in France at the QS bakery.
Walk around WS and just soak up the atmosphere and browse in the stores.
Go back to VGF and enjoy the pool and beach and have some lunch.
Take the monorail to the CR and Poly to look around.
Go to MK for dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern and then ride Pirates.
Watch wishes and end the night on Main Street eating ice cream and people watching with my Family!!
Life doesn't get better then that!!

Does that mean no Bora Bora Bungalows either because let's face it, Cinderella Suite is probably more realistic.:p

I think my perfect day would be starting off the day waking up at Wilderness Lodge and having coffee on the balcony.
Then DH, DS, and I would head to rope drop at MK.
We would get our picture in front of the castle then head back to Gaston's Tavern and share a cinnamon roll and LeFou's Brew.
We would hit up most of the Fantasyland rides for DS.
After that we head to ride HM, then it's time for lunch at Pecos Bills to have my plastic cheese quota.
After lunch, ride POTC, Jungle Cruise, and then Splash Mountain.
Then it's time to head up to Main Street and wander through all the shops.
After this, we take the ferry to TTC and the monorail to Epcot.
I have to make a trip to the Art of Disney to look at all the artwork I want for the house.
We go over to Club Cool and have some refreshments.
We go ride Spaceship Earth and then go to The Land and ride Soarin.
After this, time for The Seas with Nemo and go visit the manatees and the our other marine friends.
Now on to Figment just because he's awesome!
We will start in Canada and go through World Showcase checking out the shops and snacking and doing the kidcot stations.
DS will have to have his photo on the way out.
Back on the monorail to MK.
Time to go visit Mickey!
Stake out a spot right by the firehouse to see MSEP.
Make our way through the crowds to Tomorrowland so DH and DS can ride the Indy cars while I go check out the gift shops and surprise DS with one of the light up balloons.
We'll ride Buzz Lightyear where I will win because it is my perfect day after all!:cutie:
We will watch Wishes from Over by the Tomorrowland stage because no one is ever over there.
We'll make our way back up the hub going through Fantasyland and getting lots of pics of the emptying park.
By this time, I'm in tears because I always am when I know our trip is coming to an end.:guilty:

*Also insert lots of stopping in between for Photopass pics.

Sorry, I'm sure this is very long winded.

Just found out Ghiradelli's stopped serving their Gold Rush Sundae, and selling anything with peanuts/peanut butter due to allergies, so I guess I'll have to edit my "perfect Disney day" to have the No Way Jose Sundae at Beaches & Cream instead!!!

Wake up in Wilderness Lodge with my sweetie, DH. Get my coffee and watch the sun rise from the porch off the lobby. Take the boat to MK and watch the welcome show.
Ride Peter Psn, Dumbo, mad Tea Party, small world, Haunted Mansion. Casey's hot dog for lunch.

Boat back for Festival of Fantasy parade.
Ride Big Thunder, 7 Dwarfs, philharmagic. Dinner at Be Our Guest.
Monorail to EPCOT. Drinks around the world. Illuminations at 9:00.
Monorail to MK. Wishes at 10:00.
Boat to Wilderness.

Territory Lounge For drinks and unwinding.

Go to sleep knowing I have another whole week at Disney. Sweet dreams.

I'm not sure where I would wake up at - maybe the Grand Floridian since I've never stayed there yet.

Then I'd head to AK until about 2pm - I would ride the Safari twice, see the adorable baby gorillas, enjoy the cute monkeys, ride EE and Dinosaur and ITTBAB. Have lunch at Yak N' Yeti.
Next would be park hopping to Epcot where I would do a quick tour of World Showcase and ride Living with the Land. Dinner would be most like be at either Via Napoli or Rose and Crown. For sure I would be stopping in France for a Grand Marnier Slush.

Finally I would end my day over at MK, I would squeeze in the Haunted Mansion for sure before the Fireworks. Hopefully the park would be open until midnight so I could squeeze in a few more rides like POTC, JC, Buzz, BTMR before it closed for the night. I would also have stopped and gotten a dole whip at some point to keep me going foodwise.

Then I'd go back to my room and collapse. It's been a few years since I've even considered 3 parks in one day so I'm sure I'd be exhausted. :)
