Question for you - did they check your band to ensure you were a guest at the Poly in order to watch Wishes from the beach? Or is anyone permitted to watch from there? I've heard conflicting reports.

They did not check my band, nor did I notice them checking anyone else's bands. The only place that I saw limited to people staying at Poly was the pool area. There's gated access for that area. Otherwise, I didn't notice anyone checking bands or anything like that.

And as a local who travels to the parks alone frequently, I can relate to those looks that you are speaking of! I always try to find the smallest table / furthest seat but still manage to get some evil eyes thrown my way.

Thank you for following along! I know that sometimes you can't please everyone, and sometimes just taking up space is enough to set somebody off. I try not to let it bother me at Disney (or anywhere else), but sometimes I can feel people burning holes into me with their eyes. Maybe we'll cross paths at the park. If you see me and recognize me, feel free to say hi. I try to go semi sort of regularly.

Glad to see another Alice fan on here! She's one of my favorites & I love to collect cool merch when I see it in the parks or DTD (which seems few & far between, unfortunately). At the Tea Caddy store in the UK, they have this awesome looking tea cup that looks like it's 3 cups stacked one on top of the other. I'm pretty sure you can find it elsewhere & DTD but can't remember where else I've spotted it off hand. I've also purchased a pretty cool looking wallet a few years back at Tren-D in DTD but went back to look for it last year & couldn't find it.

Thanks for posting this trip report. I really enjoyed it as a fellow introvert (INFJ) and occasional solo Disney traveler, I understand your anxiety. I'm always at war with my love of Disney parks because I love them but I hate crowds. I also found that the Wave was a peaceful place to eat and enjoyed watching the fireworks from the Poly beach instead of being in the middle of a huge crowd on Main St.

I'm looking forward to keeping up with your future reports

It's Disney time! I'm currently sitting at a little table in front of Cosmic Rays and decided to do this live, partly to see how it works on the phone and partly because why not? I'll do a full trip report probably at home.

This is me:

All checked in at Poly. My room was ready when I arrived! Sweet.

This is happening now:

Nothing better on a hot day than a hot bowl of pot roast Mac and cheese from Friars Nook.

I'm not sure, I haven't used DDP yet. Unfortunately, I don't believe that it does. I'm headed back to Disney next week and will check if it's a snack credit or not.

Thanks! I tried looking it up and I doesn't look like it is, but I'm holding onto hope. I'll be there on the 25th and plan to use my snack credits for the F&W Festival, but one snack credit will be ear-marked for Pot Roast Mac & Cheese, if it is eligible. I enjoyed your live trip report, even though I was a little late and missed the live aspect of the report.

I know this is old but give me a heads up if you do another live TR. Your commentary had me cracking up as I can appreciate a dry humor, and anyone that gives lookyloos pay back with debridement pics is a man I can appreciate Great reports all around.
