I also never did try the pot roast mac & cheese...it does look divine...but I don't think I could have handled it on our hot days at MK!

I've been very reluctant to say anything, but I've been surprised at how many rude people have been around here. Lots of pushing, shoving, dirty looks and rude behavior. It's still the minority of the people here, but this is the first time I've really noticed it.

I highly recommend the Mac and cheese. It's so good. I could easily eat it daily.

The Apple Watch has been really good so far. I've only had it for three days, but it's been very nice to have. I'm still gathering my thoughts on it, but I'm liking it.

I had no phone service in Biergarten, so this is my quick update. The food was very good. I had two very full plates and now I'm waddling around. I wasn't looking forward to the community seating, but I was with a very nice couple from St Louis and a cute girl from Australia. I hope my deodorant held up.

I was as social as I get, unfortunately. I'm not a social butterfly.

Brain: say something! Now! Do it!
Mouth: ...

...

And that is about the extent of my social skills.

I did manage to get a picture with Belle. She was very sweet and liked my "beast fur" (beard). I keep trying to get Alice but my luck isn't holding out.

I look homeless.

It's miserable hot. Back to Poly for a break.

Decided to chance it and take the bus instead of the mono. Victory! Who's on the bus? I'm on the bus. All of the A/C is mine. A proper chariot for the moment.

I think a shower and two gallons of water are in order.

So, this is happening. It's torrential style rain, not that namby pamby sprinkle stuff. My plans are on hold. Actually, they don't exist at the moment. I'm still quite full from lunch, so eating is out of the question for now. I'm not all that excited about roaming around in this rain. I think i need a plan. More to come as said plan emerges.

My heart goes out to all of you parents who have to watch the awful shows on any of the Disney channels. Those kids are genuinely terrible. The sun is coming back out. I'm going a little stir crazy. I think it may be time to grab a bite to eat.

It looks ominous outside. While it's not raining (currently), it looks like a matter of time.

I stuck to the resort and popped into Captain Cook's. I've had the pepperoni flat bread at Mara, and it was surprisingly good. I'm in a burger mood though.

What a mistake. The burger sucks. It's so dry. Even the bacon sucks. How do you mess up bacon? The fries are bland. I've added salt and pepper and made a fry sauce but they have negative flavor.

I realize too late that I really want a fresh salad to balance out the ten pounds of meat that are clogging up my system. That would be wonderful.

Maybe I'll settle for something sweet instead.

I found sweets! I had forgotten that they serve Dole Whips here! I've been meaning to try it. I can finally mark it off the list.

I chose the pineapple vanilla swirl and it is completely amazing! I secretly wanted to not like it just because of the hype. How could it be better than the citrus swirl? It is. It's a perfect balance of sweet and tart. The citrus swirl was a little too tart. This hits the spot. I'm just going to sit here and enjoy this treat while I lament the lack of a salad.

Woe is me.

Sitting on the beach at Poly waiting for the fireworks. I think it's 45 minutes out. I didn't do nearly as much today as I did yesterday, but I'm ready to pass out.

From the beach, the Grand Floridian looks beautiful. I would love to stay there one day.

I'm getting eaten by mosquitoes. I hadn't planned on that. Whoops.

"Nathan stop screaming!" screams the father, but his ironic bellow falls on deaf ears.

"Kids, come sit down. The fireworks are about to start!"

"I. DON'T. CARE!" she yells in protest, absorbed in running rampant with her siblings and friends. But her defiant cries are ignored by her tyrannical mother.


Fireworks are about to begin.
