I weigh in at Weight Watchers on Monday night for the second time,-my first opportunity for a loss- so this is big and I'm feeling like I may have blown it already. I was doing okay, but Thursday and Friday were particularly high stress days for me and I'm a stress eater.:(

I'm hoping if I stay at the low end of points for today and tomorrow and only eat a few points before weigh in on Monday (at 6:00) and take a 3 mile walk today and tomorrow (since the weather here finally warmed up) I might have a fighting chance of dropping something.

Any other suggestions? Anything at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

Annie, it may be disappointing, but don't beat yourself over it even if you don't lose a lot this week.

Being active and staying on the low end of your points sounds good. Be sure to drink your water. And, for me, if I eat fish it seems to help keep things on an even keel. Have a bowl of veggies ready to nibble on close at hand, and if you can convince someone else to clean the veggies, they'll taste even better! ;)

Good luck! Be happy, no matter what the scale ends up saying!

Think positive sweetie. I'll bet you show a loss.

Next time you are feeling stressed come here to WISH and leave the snacks far away from the keyboard. Come here and vent or whatever, that's what we're here for...to help each other through these stressful situations.

I'm a stress eater too :(

Annie,
I thought the same thing before my first weigh in, and I found that I had lost 5 pounds!! I bet you have a loss...
By the way, I'm a stress eater, too. Now, I try to eat my low points fruit, and no points veggies when I'm looking to snack on something.
Good Luck, and let us know how it goes on Monday.
:smooth:

Thanks for the tips everyone :)

I've actually been trying to change my stress behavior to cleaning-closets, drawers, mopping, cleaning walls,-- instead of eating. I'm actually finding when I do that I have more satisfaction and really do become a little more relaxed, where stress eating just leads to more stress. :(

Eventually and hopefully I'll be thinner and have the cleanest place in town.;)

I'll check in and let you all know how I do.

Another stress eater here too. Something that I have found since I started WW (5 weeks ago) is that even if I have what I think is a bad day, some times it isn't as bad as I think when I write it down. I had a HORRIBLY stressful week this week and I had at least 2-3 days where I thought I made bad choices, but when I wrote it all down it only ended up being 1 really bad day. Even with one bad day, it isn't the end of the world, you just chalk it up to a bad day and then remember that tomorrow is a new day.

I look forward to your update and I am suspecting you will have some type of loss.

Annie, I'll help you out! You are MORE THAN WELCOME to come clean my closets, etc. when you are feeling stressed. :) :) :)

Good luck to you! I had two bad days (well, the days were ok it was the nights that got me!) and didn't see the loss I wanted, but I still managed to lose a pound. I hope you don't give up!

You have to be in this for LIFE!!! Just keep making those healthy choices and you'll see results. We are all here to support you!
