It seems like forever... but after two that didn't make it, we finally have our "complete" family now! My daughter Leila Jane Kyle (pronounced "lie-luh", like Lila) was born last Friday the 8th, 9:01pm, 7lb 4oz. Mother and daughter did great and everyone seems quite healthy so far.
Some with the 16-50 lens...
...and some with the Cosina 55mm F1.2.
A friend of ours is nicknamed "Aardvark" and he gave Leila her second stuffed animal (her first being a Winnie the Pooh that my son Jack picked out on our last WDW trip):
My wife got this shot from two days later, Leila asleep on top of Jack who fell asleep on my lap. Quite a pile.
The black thing is the back of Jack's Mickey Mouse plush from WDW.
I was finally able to fill in the gap I had left when putting the stickers on my wife's car!
With the 31mm F1.8.
...and again, the Cosina F1.2.
Here's a shot from this morning, to show how she looks after a week.
Sleeping is still a little bit of a battle (I'm overdue for bed now!) but it's not too bad. The first week of raising a girl has been a little harder than the first week of raising a boy, but overall she's been pretty wonderful and we are very proud!
