It's a very chilly day in the neighborhood.... supposed to only get in the 20s all week.

I just checked with Santa and it appears that a certain Ya Ya is going to have a Roadkill Package delivered today! Gee.... I wonder how the roadkill survived the trip!

Morning all! Sleepy here this morning. I had a hard time falling asleep last night for some silly reason.

Rose Mary, which DVDs are you waiting on? I have just the gifts to send to family (who are away) that I have to do. All online as well. Then again I think all my gifts are being ordered online this year.

Woo hoo... a Pam package on the way!!!!! And we have much of the same weather here this week... I want to go back to Florida. I miss the warmth already.

I should get moving. Have unpacking to do and errands to run. I need to check what time my post office opens so I can get my exchange package off and pick up stamps for my cards.

Then I need to go through all the pics I took and start making copies. Oh yeah, get the tree up today. May not be decorated, but I at least want it up!

Morning, all.

Off to Orlando in a few moments-we're headed to Mouse Surplus to get an Armoire and nightstand for Kevin's room (from the Poly, lol). Ed burned me a disc of Trans Siberian Orchestra to listen to in the car. My car stereo plays MP3s, so he does this to get five albums on one disc.

Had a 13 hour day yesterday, oy. At least my team is really good and stuck around to make sure the store looked perfect!

Later, taters. Gotta call the day care and the school to notify them of the changes. Then the lawyer to see why we haven't filed a case in small claims...I think Ed will get to drive today while I utilize the time making calls.

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday, Walt!

HI everyone - well I must say my house looks quite festive.....only 3 things not done.....no Barbie tree yet but I did find a table in teh basement that I will bring up to put it on - couldn't put the manger up - it's so old and the stable is actually cardboard - it finally fell apart - I think I am goingto ask my dad if I can have his.....too early for the tree but everythign else is done....looking around I have quite a "collection of collections".....Holiday Cats Meow houses.....Snowmen in the kitchen ......mug tree filled with all Disney Christmas mugs.....Santas in the living room.....2 christmas villages....1 ceramic from Home Interiors years ago ...another "retro" one that my parents had - anyone remember these - cardboard houses with beaded roofs???

DH had a great time at the football game yesterday....

Nancy - ugh on the lights - that's the one thing I always stress over....

Didn't see the gingerbread contest, Paula. Saw the cake decorating one (again), the WDW beach bash and the holiday WDW one (again)....and Paula's home Christmas. She is so funny

I need a DVD or 2 tomorrow also.
Headed to the post office then too with Geoff's package to mail.
Then I have to wait for the 20th to get that last one for him. I will take all the wrap and packing with me and mail while out that day.
Few more gifts to get wrapped and all will be done.....except cookies and fudge,

Elaine- Fantastic 4 & Dukes of Hazzard come out tomorrow. So, thought I would wait and do most of the rest of my shopping then. I wouldn't trade FL weather for anything!

Wow, Paula you are putting me to shame. I just mailed my Christmas cards though and got new stockings for us for tomorrow. I also found mittens instead of stockings for the kittens

About to work on the tree. With the piano now, I am not sure where everything can/will fit.

At least the laundry is started. And once I get the tree up I will try to catch up on PMs.

I will have to try to catch some of those contests. I've seen the cake decorating one myself and was wowed!

Rose Mary, i think you need to take Friday off... you know to relax and catch up on your personal life

I never did see Dukes of Hazzard though. Was that any good? I am waiting on Season 5 of the TV to come out. Though, I still need season 4 too... I keep hoping on that one

Time to finish lunch and then go measure the room downstairs to see where things can go!

just stopping by for a quick hi.

I've skimmed through the 400 pages of the DLResort and have seen that everyone is doing well. And that Christmas shopping and decorating is almost done for most of you!! i'm Jealous!! I hope to start mine this weekend! Hopefully I'll get it done by the 24!!

I still have to finish Ethan's stocking. Somehow I don't think it will be reayd for this Christmas...too much Scrapping got in the way!

The trip was wonderful...other than Jarrod's defiance first thing in the mornings and a few tantrums thorughout the days we did pretty well. Mornings were the worst and those were times I most wanted to put him on a bus and hope someone would take him. I resisted.

I do have to say that during the trip Jarrod, who takes forever to warm up to people (still shy around Beth and Dave), took right to JRKaren. I mean she was able to pick him up and he wanted to talk to her and interact with her! It was very cute!!

Then Ethan adopted Dave as Grandpa. They had a great time tooling around DAK together!! I'm sure Dave's back was sore from bending over to keep Ethan from having to have one leg drag the ground while he walked with Dave.

I don't feel bad taking over 900 pictures since Elaine said she had 1100!!! A great deal of mine will only be printed for the scrap book. I've already planned the ones that will be cropped and used for one or two objects in them! But I have a ton of the kids! I also have a great one of Suzanne (with Liz on the phone), Beth and Rose Mary on the Safari Ride!

OKay, going to start a thread on some Disney Magic I experienced while I was there!!

I had more presents to wrap then I thought. I have been doing it for about 3 hours....plus all the hours I did earlier....but I am down to 2 left

Wooooo! Two things! One: My exchange package went out today. Well, technically speaking. The box has left my humble abode and is either at the post office or in the trunk of my little car, depending on whether Tom mails it before or after taking Cam to class. If it's after, it may not actually leave the PO until tomorrow morning, but... but... it's one step closer so woooo!! ...by the way, it was a joy gathering goodies for my exchangee. I hope you enjoy.

Two: Woooo! THANK YOU ROSEMARY!!! Wonderful Christmas coffees, a beautiful Yankee tea light holder and tealights. Christmas pot holders, a glass Christmas tree filled with choc/mint kisses *HEAVENLY*... fun soaps, A Florida pen and a Christmas Mickey pin, a Disney Magic towel (I love those things!) and some adorable Mickey EK scapping stickers. Tara, never feel bad about taking lots of pics. I actually left my camera at my room one day too. Some days I just have to leave it. But I didn't shoot pics quite as much as normal though. I think you need to take more next time
Glad to hear that Jarrod was able to warm up to more people. Though I must say that the Ya Yas as a whole are easy to get to know My dad enjoyed meeting everyone that he did!

Oh keep the siggie... though aren't we supposed to be thinking about DL?

Well of course that's not entirely the point, Nancy, but don't they realize how important it is to get the ticket ASAP? I am actually currently w/o an AP. Mine expired on Saturday and I decided not to renew. I will buy new right out come Feb though. I just figured I'd rather do that since I think next year we'd go to WDW a week later. No point in renewing an AP for just a 4 day trip.

Woo hoo on another package received and sent (or nearly sent)!!! Sounds like Rose Mary sent ya some great things!!!!

Okay, I think my sweetie had a cold and gave it to me. He insisted it was not a cold at WDW even though he was coughing all week long. If it wasn't a cold, then what the heck do I have now? Nothing bad, but I just hate runny noses

Well - I called and talked to my priest about "returning" - he was very nice - told me that first things I need to go is (1) register - did that and (2) go to confession - I told him that I did not remember the last time I went - don't even think I went before getting married.....yikes......he'll ahve to walk me thru this ....I can still remember using a confessional.....anyway - I'm still feeling good about this - please think good thoughts for me....

Alyssa finally sent me her christmas list....nothimg I have bought so far is on it...so much for thinking I was almost done......
