Okay, decided to listen to CDs before I went to bed... sadly since the iPod, I haven't been able to locate my portable CD player... I haven't played a CD on anything but a computer in ages upstairs. So I am on my laptop listening with my headphones as Luis watches ESPN.

Lily, I hope your day became less "lonely" as it went on!

Suzanne, have fun at Epcot tomorrow! I don't think I need anything since in just over a month I'll be back
I think I am going to get one of those happy head tilting guys in Japan though when they go back. Hope they don't cost too much

Oh and Suzanne, that had me chuckling about Ed! Of course I can understand that... my dad just got a new iPod and I doubt anyone will have time to play with it (otehr than me helping him set it up as I did most of the night) And tomorrow I'll be messing with mine adding two new CDs to it

Mom had a doc's appt today so when she was done we went out to lunch and did some shopping. It was very quiet today! Since we did nothing but sleep yesterday I had to get out do stuff today.

Ethan is feeling better finally. Today he ate like a little horse!! We went to Olive Garden for lunch and he ate some salad, the beans out of the ministrone soup, some smoked cheese fondue, stuffed mushrooms, and quite a bit of the mac and cheese I ordered him. This boy does not like his food to be boring!! He wants it to have flavor...the fact that he smelled like a garlic clove was another story!! hehehe

Planning on trying to clean house tomorrow so that we can go to a Museum in Newport News on Thursday. Astrid and I are planning on going scrapping on Friday...do an all day and into the evening if they have spaces! I have my fingers crossed since we haven't signed up yet. Hopefully people will be busy getting ready for NYE...

Speaking of NYE...we have a tradition...Mom and I started this a year or two before Jarrod wa born...we go to this really wonderful Japanese Teppanyaki Steakhouse, we have dinner, and then we come home and play either scrabble or yahtzee the rest of teh night! The only year that we missed the game playing was when I was preggers with E...I had a bad headache that night and went to bed early!

Morning all....currently fighting a cold or allergies, not sure which.

Lily...things are similar here regarding everyone out. I am the only one here from my group. Came in a bit late since I wasn't feeling well. Will probably leave a bit early so I don't have to detour into downtown to get the girls from Todd. Sorry to hear about your friend.

Todd got me an ipod Nano for Christmas...sorry to disappoint JRKaren, but nothing is on my ipod that I wouldn't want individuals to know. It is all Christian music.

JRKaren...I would have probably slugged the individuals gropping me.

NYE we will be at church for a bit, then home. Not sure of the home plans yet. I do have to put a slide show together for church. You know how hard it is to pick out pictures and not pick ones individuals will be mad at you for later??????

Better get to work. Starting to feel worse and need to get some work done before I feel to bad and have to go home.

Morning all.. a bit tired, and stuffy still. Other than not being able to sleep well due to coughing, nothing is too bad. I had sinus stuff like this though.

I was so tired last night that I blanked on saying how sorry I was to hear about your loss Lily. Also best of luck today with the doc!

LOL, Karen, I like that question, but other than Yanni, I have nothing to be embarassed about on my iPod. Actually I would imagine that my iPod has something for everyone on it.

Tara, glad to hear that Ethan is feeling better now! Sounds like you have a nice week ahead of you! I have a lot of cleaning to do as well. Maybe I'll get to it soon Oh and nice NYE tradition. I was just talking with my dad and I think we have our evening planned up a little. We usually have pork, sauerkraut, and Chinese (something else too but I forgot what). We just don't know if we'll be at my dad's or my cousin's first.

Amanda, enjoy the iPod! My dad got the little Nano for Christmas as well (from my brother) and I think they are just really cute looking! I hope you have fun with it! My dad told me he fell asleep to his last night

Off to Epcot tomorrow, anyone got any shopping for me?

You should pickup a few copies of the Candlelight Processional CD and sell them on Ebay. I checked the other day and people are asking an OUTRAGEOUS price for that CD. In my five Christmas trips to WDW, I have resisted the temptation to purchase one. I thought that I might be able to pickup a used copy on Ebay or Half.com, but at those prices, I'll just get one next year.

I didn't get anything someone might get for a birthday. Mine is all Christmas related....well mostly.
I did get a few things at B&BW
Got my friend Kathy's BD present at BaB....the Valentine things are out
Christmas YC accessories for next year.
Dave used his Borders gift card.
And we are back home to continue the cleaning of the basement....oh fun

Hey All,

Been an interesting day with the kids. They were both wild this morning making me late for work then the younger one took off on his bike after we got home and when I caught up with him made a scene on the next street and wouldnt get in the car. UGH!!!! Im shaking from the stress. The one good thing is eldest ds is now an official bike rider!! Thanks to my girlfriends girls who taught him how to ride. He is so excited. I let him ride around and around the block as long as Sarah was with him. Sarah is the one he has the crush on LOL!! My youngest is now banned from the bike for awhile so Sarah and my eldest will have time to just ride together after we get home. Work was boooooooooooring. I was the only one there today and I got everything done very early and then just had to sorta sit there until 4:30 LOL.

Lily I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers sweetie.

Tara it sounds like you had a great time today! Your E eats like my boys. They eat things you would never expect a kid to eat and always have. I got your card today with the picture of you and the boys in it. Thank you so much! What a wonderful picture of all of you!!

Elaine what do those little tilty head guys do....um besides tilt their heads? They look really cute. I need to pick up something in Japan the next time we go too. I ran out of a perfume that I love by Shishedo and I cant find it around here. There are also some inscense that I want to pick up. I have more fun in Japan because they have such beautiful things in the shops.

Amanda Im sorry you are not feeling well. I will say prayers that you feel better quickly.

Karen I have mainly christian music on my ipod type thingy that I have. Speaking of I cant find the silly thing. I had it in the pocket of one of my purses and I cant find the dumb purse now. I hope dh didnt throw out the purse in one of his cleaning sprees in our bedroom.

Well I think Im gonna mosey on out to my quiet spot and chill for a few minutes. The kids are at it again and mom needs a time out LOL!!!

Evening, all. Just got in.

We had yet another crisis from the IL's. SIL's cannula from her insulin pump pulled out and she went way too high on her sugars. We got three phone calls as we were exiting Norway! Grrrr!!! I went to the hospital, Ed and kids stayed with his mom. I think we've established hour for hour babysitting as a way of scaring them from doing stooopid things.

John, I think that's a good idea! Perhaps next time. I'm really hoping the holiday illuminations are still going on when we attempt to get back on the 1st.

Lily, sorry about your coworker. Seems to be too many losses of good people this year, young and old.
