All. Found a cute little tree so when I got home dragged lots of my Christmas goodies out. got alot done last night but, then came Survivor and well there are still lots of boxes out Guess I will finish up tonight.

Yep....lots done. All the decorating except the trees. They will go up tonight, but not get decorated until Christin comes over on Sunday.
Dave even set the train up....we'll see how long that lasts. One kitty loves to knock it over.....and always when it is behind the tree so it can't be reached.

Going to hang the rest of the outside lights in a few. Ed wants it to warm up a bit-he's spoiled by warmer weather already.

Nancy, I have no cats, but the kids will probably do a number. Kevin's asked us to put the monorail around the tree!

Had one child home with pink eye, he's better. Now the other's home with a cold. Just LOVE winter, lol!

Why is it that I cannot resist sales at Kohls?? I innicently went in to pay on my charge....came out with a fleece winter throw (for me) - a sweater for my other in law - hallmark ornament - and magnetic dart board for Chris.


Just got back from Grocery shopping - cleaning tonite - got our first Christmas card in the mail today!!

Wrangled up some of the addresses and got cards in the mail. (I did have YOUR address, Nancy - but not most of my own relatives! )

We've received three cards thus far.


I got a small dent in wrapping presents. DH sat and cheered me on... what a guy..... Oh well, it was HIS money that bought just about everything!

Morning Ya Yas!

It has been a week. Haven't had much time to do things. Boss is back Monday! I don't have to be the boss stand-in any longer, Whew!

Cards, eek! I don't have anything. I mean really, anything. I lost ALL my addresses when I lost the hard drive. I told DH that maybe this will mean no cards for anyone.

We haven't been working really at replacing them as other things have gotten in our way. It may be the mad scramble...

I'll look at what everyone has been up to later this a.m. DH is up and making waffles! I guess we are having breakfast together. He doesn't have to go to work b/c he is on vaca. (I couldn't get the week off for the WDW trip.) Getting ready for my cuppa now...

Morning All,

Been a busy week. Took the youngest to the urologist and he has a spastic bladder hence the problems he has had. They put him on a med and also we have a vibra/alert pager for him which goes off every two hours to remind him to go. Yesterday I worked at the youngests school helping to set up for the Holiday Gift Shop. I got to have lunch with my son which was nice. It was the first time I have had school cafeteria food in 25 years LOL!!! Now I remember why I didnt like it so much hehehehehehe. Today we have to take the boys for evaluations for upwards basketball, then we do Hanging of the Green.....aka christmas decorating at the church......and then we are doing parents night out at the church.....this time WE are leaving the kids and having some mommy daddy time instead of working it LOL!!! Oldest ds is at the church as we speak helping with the Lords Gift House for his mandatory community service hours for school. He really loves doing it though and said he wanted to continue after he has met his time of 30 hours for the school year.

I just stepped on the scale and I have lost a total of twenty-three pounds!!!! When I told dh and little guy my little guy started clapping and saying GOOD JOB MOMMY!!! and gave me the BIGGEST hug!! I cant tell you how that made me feel. I got all teary. Dh and I have decided that if I get a Christmas Bonus from work that we are going to buy a couple of inexpensive bikes for he and I and of course helmets and we will be taking the boys out for a bike ride every night. The boys will love it and we will get some exercise. If I dont get a Christmas Bonus then we will get them in January.

Sherry did you ever hear from the Picture People??

Lily I hope things calm down for you now at work. Yummmmm waffles. My dh is making bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Its the ONLY thing I have craved since the hurricane. Other food I can take or leave recently but thats the one thing that I have consistently wanted but havent had yet. How is the wogging going?? When will you be in Disney for the Marathon? Im hoping that we could get up there for that day to cheer you on!!

LOL Pam and wrapping. I spend the money on the gifts and dh gets to wrap them. I HATE wrapping with a passion and he doesnt mind it so he does it. The only thing he doesnt wrap are the things the kids get him from the Holiday Gift Shop. I wrap those. Dh and I really dont exchange gifts. He is lucky in that there are two big things he doesnt have to wrap and thats the bikes we got for the kids. All he has to do is put a bow on those LOL!!

Well I better go help dh make breakfast. I will checkin laters.

It snowed over night I hate winter!! Especailly if anyone is traveling. Dave left at 5:30 and knowing around here, being a Sat. I bet the roads aren't prepped

I also got a dent done in the wrapping. Now the living room couches are almost full

If anyone needs Yaya addresses, let me know. I have most of them.

Christin is being stubborn Insists on working 2 jobs. She is getting so tired. She doesn't want to quit Penney's because "they hired me when no one else would". Nice attitute, but So 52+ hours a week plus 16 of school.....and then home work has to fit in.

I'm putting the tree up today....as in actually getting the branches on
And cookie baking and fudge making and cleaning.....if I have any time left it will be back to wrapping.

So much for the best laid plans of mice and men. Im not sure whats going to happen for today now because dh is not feeling well. I had to give him something for nausea a little bit ago. I will be taking the boys for their basketball evaluations but from then on its anyones guess as to what we do today. He was fine this morning until he ate the bacon and eggs he made for breakfast. I ate them too and Im fine soooooooooo not sure whats up. The kids keep laughing at me because everytime dh even coughs Im up outta my chair and out the front door. I cannot handle someone throwing up so I run out there LOL!!!! I had to go in the bathroom to brush my hair. You never saw anyone get their hair done so fast in all your life. I had visions of him trapping me in there LOL!!! Actually that did happen to me once with my dad.

Well gotta get moving and take the boys for their eval.

Karen, That is WONDERFUL news! You are doing great! Prayers and PD that it continues downward for you. Seems like you have it figured out what you need to do to make it work for you.

I apologize for not ever getting back to you about the dates we will be in WDW. We arrive on Friday January 6th and return home on Sunday January 15th. The event is Sat for the Half and Sun for the Full. I’m not certain which I am doing yet. It will depend how I feel as the days approach to “THE” day. A lot of the DISers will be meeting up Friday at Trails End on Friday as an opportunity to get to meet our group. Not sure how I will be feeling the remainder of my week and we have no other fixed plans at this time.

Another quiet day here - hubby out hunting (or as I like to refer to it "sitting in a tree") - Chris is cleaning his room - I jsut have to finish cleaning my upstairs bathroom and house is clean and ready to start decorating tomorrow!! Going to church with my dad tonite.

Pierogis are done and in the freezer. I didn't plan on them today, so now hafta figure out how I will get to everything else I needed to do. Oh Well, at least I didn't have to do the tree; DH is doing it ALL!

I am taking an official break. It was a great day so far. We are cruising in October too. DH made the call and added on the Members Cruise to our already scheduled October cruise. I thought we would be giving up on the already scheduled one or something. Nope, he's decided we are going to do both. We may cancel our May event though.

Ok, first off my exchange package went to the Post Office today. Yeah for me, one task accomplished today. My decorations are half up and I partially inventoried the gifts I have bought to see what I still need. Christmas cards still sitting on the table "in the boxes". They really do look lovely there, LOL. I'm kinda likin' that cyber card thingie Pam and Lily have goin' on. Oh and I learned something new today . I was at Dick's sporting goods and I saw: Under Armour!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know what Pam & Paula were talking about. Sure was weird trying to picture these guys trudging thru the woods and climbing trees in armour suits

Karen- Congrats on continued weight loss. Way to Go! Hope DH is feeling better.
Lily- Are pierogies hard to make? Ok, 'nother dumb question. What IS a pierogie exactly? Our traditional Christmas eve has always been lasagna. Not sure what's up for this year.
Pam- Glad your package is gone now that it has started snowing in your area again . I think I also learned that snowing makes for good hunting, is that right?
Paula, Guess your husband wasn't sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g. Ok, dumb I know but, that's what came to mind when I read your post. I'm having a hard time with shopping/sales too. One for me- one for her. There have been too many one for me items, LOL!
Hey Nancy- how'd the cookie baking go? Whatcha make? How many trees you put up I can't seem to even get one little one decorated here
