Pam - thanks for the suggestions for Chris - he's decided to stick with regular XBOX - he has heard that 360 has too many glitches - so I can get him to make me a list for that.

I was also looking at snowboards today at Dicks for him.....

And in my travels - bought Alyssa beautiful 14k "threader" earrings with mystic topaz stones at Kohls - reg $100 - with sale and my coupon....$34!!!!

Woohoo for me.

My Santa Mickey topper is sitting on top of my moniter - right next to my TY beanie baby turkey - no problems so far - hahha!!

Afternoon, all.

Great Monday here! Met up with Tara and clan (those boys are sooooo cute), then headed over to AK, where we picked up Rosemary, then Bethie. We did Tough to Be a Bug and Kilimanjaro, before Ed and I had to head out. I called Liz to round up bail money, lol.

Then we went to pick up the boys with the plan that we'd be heading over to stepdad's. While at daycare, he called me to say that they were having torrential rains-so we rescheduled for Thursday. THEN, Ed came out to tell me that the director we felt was incompetent was replaced! She would call us four days a week to tell us Neil was out of control, and we needed to come IMMEDIATELY to pick him up. Meanwhile, she'd put him on the phone and he'd be fine. Apparently, we weren't the only ones with issues-the parents of the other kids in her son's class had problems with her feeding son treats all day in the classroom and telling them they couldn't have any!

Topper alert: We found a cheerleader megaphone topper. I also grabbed two packages of the animal print toppers, woohoo. Been looking for those for a while.

Yay, Paula got her package. My yaya is going to get hers later this week, if I can meet up. If I don't see my exchangee, I can always leave it at the front desk of her resort.

Kimmie, I love your 'Tom Cruise' banana. Kinda fitting, since he's a banana brain!

Well, now that dinner plans have changed, I think I can go out in the garage and find the 'bonus gift', heehee!

I received the same info from Cam regarding the XBox 360, Paula. He said he'll stick with his old one and then hold out for Nintendo's new Revoultion.

Picture taking was a fiasco. The boys did NOT want to take pics and made sure everyone knew it. Then, the last 2 pics we took didn't even come out. And we were given no compensation for it, so I was a bit ticked. We really wanted the pic of me & Junior together, too, and that was the one they lost.

Sherry - so sorry to hear that you didn't get the pics that you wanted - that just isn't right!!

Church update - I called yesterday and left a message on the ans machine for my priest - awaiting a call back..... Soemthing that I need to share about me not going to church....I hope this isn't lame......I have a strong connection to that church as it is my family church - however - I can't seem to get past the image of sitting there at my mom's funeral...I am hoping that speaking with my priest will allow me some resolution and perhaps release some of the feeling that I have been holding in about that.

Not sure what I'm doing today - it's warm and rainy here - 58 degrees. I will at least wrap the exchange gifts I have so far and see what else I need.

Chris is home today with migranes.....

Maybe do some internet christmas shopping.....

Paula, poor Chris. Hope you can figure out a way to deal with your church memories. I look at it as a great opportunity to be at The Table with those in Heaven and know that my family are among them and are all with me then.

Chris is feeling a little better - he did go to work. Waiting to hear from his counselor for his/our appt this week - he even asked when he was going.

Thanks for the kids words regarding church - I spoke with the church secretary - she took all of my info - I have to call on Monday to meet with my priest - surprisingly I am looking forward to it.
