Good Morning! Can you believe that at 11:00 pm last night it was 44 degrees and WARMER than it had been since like last Sunday or Monday? It was actually warmer at that time then it had been all day yesterday!

The snow is melting -- my hunters hearts are breaking..... It's supposed to maybe reach 65 degrees tomorrow. Crazy, crazy weather.....

Getting ready for Church. I think I finished up all of my shopping yesterday! Help! I've turned into a mini Nancy in regards to shopping! Now to just wrap everything.

DD and her BF dashed up to New York yesterday to revel in the opening day of the ski season. (Of course she asked for her boots, ski pants, &Under Armour clothes early. I gave them to her, figured that she might as well get as much enjoyment out of them as possible. She told I could rewrap everything and stick it under the tree! )

I bet Elaine is basking by the pool right now and sipping one of those little drinks with an umbrella in it!

Suzanne - ick on the swallowed tooth! I bet Kevin was frantic that the Tooth Fairy wouldn't pay for a tooth that she couldn't see....

PAULA! You went shopping and bought nothing? Does Alyssa have to be back in class tomorrow? All of our colleges resume classes, but the school systems are still off for the first day of deer season. Something that's been that way since the 1930s because so many of the kids would just skip to go hunting!

DH got alled into work during the wee hours. I waited up til I fell asleep and did not even hear him come in. That is quite unusual. I must be really enjoying my R&R weekend more than I thought getting lots of Rs.

Yay! For finishing shopping! I still have a little. I know what I want to get Geoff now, but it doesn't come out until 11-30.....hope it isn't a problem to get. I might break down and preorder online and have it shipped to M'Cori to wrap for me. It weighs 16 pounds! And it is a board game!
No idea for Dave's last thing.
And...send me that weather. We got our first snow last night! A complete surprise. Nothing was mentioned in the forecast....of course, we are higher than Seattle, so often very different.

Awww shucks! Thank you Nancy, Lily and Karen!! Yep, another year older. The other day, Cam asked me how old I was going to be. Dang. Heck if I could remember for sure but I was pretty sure it was 43. Did the math. Bummer. Don't ya hate it when you lose a year in the blink of an eye!

How is YaYa land?! I haven't been here in ages. Tom has had some time off so we've been frantically racing about trying to take care of all life's little projects that tend to pile up.

How was the movie Nancy?

Karen, yay for getting so much shopping done!! I've made a dent but still have a long way to go.

Nancy, what on Earth is the board game?! Sixteen lbs! Oh my!

Well I went out and got the nieces and nephews shopped for. I had to buy for both their birthday and Christmas. I didnt end up getting gift cards. I hope they like what I did get. Geesh buying for 3 neices and 2 nephews is getting expensive. Now everyone is shopped for but me. I have given dh a list though and he knows me well enough to know what I like.

Game...World of Warcraft. I "think" it is based on an online game that they play....but I really can't keep up with those things And I was told it was about $80!! So I better get all 16 pounds for that

Hi all.....

Well - Alyssa is safely back at school - she has class tomorrow. Her finals end Dec 19 so she will be home again soon.

So except for the lingering pie.......it's just about back to reality here.

Forgot to mention - got the letter back already - mamo owas okie dokie this year - no need to ultrasound - woohoo!!

Why is it that I have so many ideas for Christmas gifts for Alyssa and once again stumpted for Chris....Pam?? Rosemary>??? help me out here - you have teenage sons.....

Yikes on the game Nancy - hope it's worth it's weight!! I bought "Imagineif" for Alyssa - also want to get her the expansion card pack for Apples to Apples.

I'm hearing odd noises above me - sounds like Chris is moving furniture.....

Going to do some exchange shopping tomorrow.

Holding out till 12/1 to start decorating.....

Oh yeah and because we didn't have to bring Alyssa back today I ended up working.....too much vaca left - not enough people to cover hours....we have actualy asked out superiors if under the circumstances we could just get paid for it - awaiting reply.

Question for our Catholic Yaya's - my godson has asked me to be his sponsor for confirmation - I am Catholic but non practicing - since this means so much to him I will resume practicing...should I contact my priest and talk to him about this?? I am guessing to resume I will most likely have to go to confession???? And I can't tell you how long that's been.

Off to wash more dishes - never ending........

Sorry that I can't help with the Catholic question - former Church of God person, now Methodist for the past 8 years.

DD should be pulling into her apartment any minute now. Her car was loaded to the gills! I don't know how she fit the fish and hamster in there! She took our artificial tree with her.

My guys are already in bed, dreaming of the big bucks.

I got all of the business Christmas cards addressed and stamped, DD signed them all for me over the weekend. Now I have to get our personal ones done. DD started decorating outside. We'll get the tree next weekend.

Paula, it probably wouldn't hurt to talk to your priest about it. It's nice that you are going to go back to church because it means so much to him. The priest will probably encouage you to go to confession. I'm a practicing Catholic--I go to church every week (at least I try to). I haven't gone to confession in years, though.

Off to the parks in a few to meet some of the sistahs (and maybe a bother). Ed has the day off, so he'll get to meet them, too!

Paula, have a 17 year old nephew, but that's easier than being a mom of one. He gets a gift card, lol. Yay on the test results.

Pammy's gonna have some venison soon!

Had a busy day yesterday. We went to get more lights for the front of the house. Identical package from Target as the other three strings of icicle lights. However, this one had one color per strand instead of the variety on the other strands. Went to another Target, but they were completely out. We pass one on the way to WDW, so we'll give that one a try, otherwise, I'll be swapping lights around in this strand.

Then we went and tasted (and bought) more wine. I really need a wine chiller. What did we do after the kids went to bed? Had another glass of wine!

Off to see my sistahs, the wonderful sistahs yaya! (to the tune of 'wizard of oz')
