It snowed quite a bit today, but now we are having freezing rain. We'll see if we get out tomorrow or not.

hey gang,

Had an update to the cub scout situation. I just heard this this afternoon!

While we were on the clean up the recognition chair person (Bob...father of one of the kids who is so obnoxious in my den...leader of the tiger den) came up to me to let me know how things are going to be now. So the cub master is now the leader of the bears (the leader had to quit because of family issues), a father in the tigers is now the tiger leader, and the recognition chair is now the wolf leader...replacing me for the month of January at least. They told me that I could focus on the Blue and Gold Banquet. hahaha

So they are just helping me get out of scouting!! But I hope they can now see what I've been seeing and see how their kid is the worst one in the group!!! hehehehe

So I'm saved now!!!

Woo hoo on getting out of scouting somewhat Tara! Probably not the best way to find out, but still, I'd be very happy about it. Hopefully they can figure out how to keep the little buggers happy. I don't envy anyone who tries with that group.

I love Ohio... we had snow, then sleet and now rain. Should be yummy tomorrow

My mantra for the day "I will not kill my children. I will not kill my children..." They are being little ****s today and I'm over it!!! UGH!!!!!

Weather...it started off her as 65 and raining and wind blowing a gale. It is now sunny and 55 degrees! Sun and a temp drop....makes no sense!

Ethan thinks he is superman! I caught him wearing a red cape and jumping off of his bed this morning!! heheh

I'm hoping to go out and run errands in about an hour. After mom's pills kick in I should be able to get out of the house!

if you all want to send the snow my way I'll be more than happy to take it!! hehehe

We had very odd weather as well here. It did snow, then sleet, then rain, then snow again all in 24 hours. I love the beginning of winter around here

I managed to hit Kmart, Walmart, and Toys R Us and came out unscathed!

I am done for the kids and santa. just need to get something for mom and then i think i'll be done.

Got the christmas cookies done. The kids helped for a while but their attention span.

Morning!

Had a nice weekend. We really liked Max & Erma's. And the cookies were yummy!

We got hit with bad snow on Saturday. Took us a lot longer to get to the restaurant than it normally would. Saw some cars spinning on the road and off in ditches. Yesterday, after church, it started snowing again and we came home in blizzard conditions. It was horrible. Roads aren't that great in some areas, so I think I'll have Junior take the boys to school.

Tara, glad you got some shopping done!

Gotta get the boys moving!!

Sherry...glad you made it home safe from Max and Erma's. I didn't care much for the restaurant, but glad you liked it.

Tara...great on getting more shopping done. I mostly have gift cards to get. I always try to give my kids away to whomever I am on the phone with at the time

Elaine...the best thing I learned as a parent was to just walk away. Todd doesn't understand how I can do it, but it is either that or doing something I will regret. I have a bad temper, which fortunately I have learned to control...just don't ask Todd to confirm the control part

Sherry glad you made itt through the snow okay. We saw part of the Browns game and saw how bad that part of Ohio got

Amanda, I have a bad temper too. Sometimes that's not good with a baby. I need to learn patience.
I admit I don't really care for the food itself at M&E, but I do like the cookies. IMO the food is just okay. We don't go that often though.

Good morning to all of you shoppers, bakers, and snow bound people. (btw, that last comment was meant with sincerity, put down the cheetos)

We survived a trip to Wally World yesterday also; we must have lucked into a good time because even though it was fairly crowded, we found a check out line that we didn't have to wait in forever

Although I did realize how much easier it is for me to grocery shop without having the whole family along

I'm done with two meetings, one class, and one remediation. I have one more class but then I get to leave early because Jar has a doc appointment. I get to go in and tell them how he is improving in his ability to cope but that he has become an uber-fidgeter! (the other day the teacher looked over at him and he had moved around in his chair to the point that he was literally horizontal with his feet on the top of the back of the chair and his body slid across his desk doing his writing! LOL!)

WAH! I want snow!!! I'm hoping that if I cry loud enough someone will feel sorry for me and will send it my way!! hehehe

Finally, I must have cracked the code to get in to the Dis. Now if only I could remember Geesh my AADD was kicking in and I was about to say fergit about it!
Must be weird weather all around this weekend. I'm not complaining so don't Amanda.
Fri night the news said we were going to get rain and it would be getting cold. So I take DS to work, I have on a tank top w/sweatjacket over it & jeans. The sun comes out and it gets more and more humid as the day goes on. I'm sweating, yuck! By evening I'm running the AC. So, I get up Sun. leave about 7:45 to go shopping w/T-shirt & jeans on. Still wondering where the heck the cold weather is ????? I go to Target (long line for Wii's), come out and the wind has whipped up. Go to Bealls (it was empty, yeah me) come out and there's a bit of chill in the air. Go to Wal-Mart (too crowded, too many people getting on my very last nerve ) Come out and it's like hurricane force freezing winds. Welcome to Florida where you never know how to dress.

Anyhoo, Sherry the Nora Roberts book is the first of a new trilogy, Blood Brothers. i usually start her books and can't put them down but RL seems to be getting in the way.
Tara - Maybe you should have been taking some of those pills your mom was waiting on to kick in.
