Well I have an extremely hoarse, slightly hungover and very depressed husband today......think football....AFC championships......Pat's lost...it's a sad day.....

Alyssa went back to school yesterday afternoon.
Chris' recruiter is supposed to be coming here at 2:30 today - I'd better get cleaning....

Well, just my luck....I get a valentine on friday and now on monday he is threatening to kill me! not been a good day here! I even had another teacher, not a sped., ask me if this boy is Asbergers. If a non sped can figure it out by watching him for less than 10 minutes you would think his damn doctor could figure it out! oy vey!!

Headache has not gotten any better. I'm going to blame the weather now! I have tutoring this afternoon and then bowling so i can't go home! oh well!

don't have too much fun without me this afternoon.

oh and Suzanne...nope you're not out of line...I say sionara (is that how you spell it?)

Paula- How did the meeting go with the recruiter?

Tara-hope the headache is gone. I get a lot of sinus headaches this time of year.Better than a migraine though.

When I was in highschool a friend offered me a pee-kin. I had no idea what she was talking about until she showed me the bag of pecans.

Sorry everyone is having yucky weather. No snow here. It did snow in phoenix though. We just cooled down a bit and got lots of wind.

Just finished the meeting with the recruiter - Chris is still procrastinating - recruiter wants to meet again next monday with the 3 of us - told Chris he needs to definitely have a plan by then - I agree - this deciding not to decide is getting old fast. I tried talking to him after the recruiter left - he's nto ready to talk - hopefully we can put him in the right direction.

Lela played her second basketball game last night. She is playing with a church league for first through third graders. You can easily see that one or two teams have boys who have been playing together for years and practice together.

We are more like the bad news bears play basketball. But I love the casual atmosphere and the way the refs work with the kids on the court; it's a lot of fun.

Morning all... had a kind of full day yesterday and didn't get much time to play.

I got a calll early afternoon stating that someone tried to make a charge on our Disney card at Walmart.com for about $1K. They denied the charge immediately, and called me. So for all the whining I read about the Disney card on the forums here, I am glad we have them. No hassle for us, and our card just came in the mail today.

Rose Mary, I do hope you have a better day at work. I don't think there was a day at my old job where I actually enjoyed it

Tara, if you want snow, come here. We got more last night it seems. Good thing about living here is that they clear it off pretty quickly and do a great job of it.

Alan, do you know anyone who says is PEE-can? I've heard it that way only as a joke up here.

Paula, I'm sorry for Jeffrey. I admit I don't follow any pro-ball (of any sort really) enough to know who even was playing who. I hope the tough love keeps working and will get Chris' butt in gear. If not, send him to my dad. He was like living in the military with us

Sherry, so glad you had fun at the game. Sorry the Cavs lost though. I can't even remember the last time I watched a basketball game in person

Jeffrey and I have decided that moving forward we are making up Chris' mind for him!!
Went to Target this morning and scoured the clearance racks - got some good deals. Came home to a box on my deck...3 "Test Kitchen" cookbooks - I won then in the VIVA sweepstakes!!

Elaine - I'm glad that the credit card snafu was resolved quickly.

Tara - hope your day gets better - not worse!

Alan - I don't know much of anything about basketball - I hope Lela enjoys playing - sould like they are realy making it a fun atmosphere for the kids!

I am telling Jeffrey not to plan anything for this Saturday I want us to take Chris to the Northeast Car Show and out for lunch - I think he is very vulnerable right now and the more time he spends with us the better.

We are contacting the school to see what our options are but Rebecca is obviously having a tough time and I will be home tomorrow with her. The timing is such that we need to make a decision quickly.

UGH....Girls are driving me crazy Now I have a headache to go with the craziness.

Mandy stayed home, running a fever. Now she is trying to get through all the classwork, this is trying my patience. Who would ever have thought I have a teaching degree???? God definitely knew what he was doing when He put me in a new direction.
