No nephew today. Think I might take a nap........I am so tired. Two nights of staying up late and getting up early is taking its toll on me. Man, I'm getting old.

Morning all! Luis didn't even finish watching the game last night. Our team just was not the team I am used to seeing. Luis blames the Heisman hex on Smith, and the injury didn't help. I just think that OSU sucked big time last night. Gators played nearly flawless from what I can tell. What a boring game to watch in all honesty! I was thinking USC would be #1 and now I believe the Gators should be starting that next year. Heck at one point I was rooting for Michigan but they choked even worse

Sherry, tired here too... neither of us could fall asleep well. Poor Luis will be dead tired by the time he gets home.

Woo hoo on the bowling game Tara!

Suzanne, i am sorry you are in so much pain. What is RSD? And cool on the script Ohio... big tradition that is well known throughout all of college football. I was glad to see them do it!

Google Earth is neat, however, I apparently live in an orange tree or 12. Mapquest also has an orange grove where my house should be, but Yahoo maps shows my house under construction.

Y'all must have a really fun treehouse! Yikes on the leg pain, and I hope the doc can find you some relief.

Back again for a bit...I've not been able to focus on work at all today. Don't know why...just can't get motivated. I did teach for the entire block but during my planning time when I should be planning, I'm too busy playing on the web.

So hope everyone is recovering from the fun of yesterday!

Suzanne..I hope that the doc was able to give you some relief today. That sucks.

oh and the eye feels better, and the lips are feeling just really chapped. So maybe I am on the road to recovery...I think it was the thought of my dear friends threatening to cheetoh me if I didn't take care of it!! Now if the chapped part will go away I should be just fine! Thanks!!

Okay, gonna go check on some other threads and see what kinds of fights are brewing!! hehhehehe (one on the resort board about DVCers getting to pool hop )

HI all...

Stayed up till 1:00am playing "Apples to Apples" and ImagineIf" with Alyssa and her friends - lots of fun.... too bad I didn't know you were up Suzanne you could have joined in!

Having a really down day today - I am waiting for Chris to get home so that I can read the riot act....which...for those of you that don't know me that well ...I am totally incapable of doing so when he does come home there will probably be alot of tears on my end....

I am focusing on my new 4-word monata to comsole me....
"Food and Wine Festival".....
yup - definitely seriously thinking about that for the fall - I think Jeffrey would love it.

I'll try to check in later if I'm up to it....

...guys, if ya can, say a couple o' prayers for my DM-in-L...remember, I had posted a few weeks back that she broke her femur and kneecap in 7 places and had to have a plate, a rod, and 12 screws put in....long story short, she was recovering in one of those rehabs - those IDIOTS (keeping it "G" rated!) were helping her in the bathroom and they DROPPED HER LEG, causing her kneecap to break in 2 spots and 'blowing out' and the secured screws!! She now must undergo a total knee replacement or she will never be able to walk again....operation is this Friday....

No, Elaine I did not stay up and watch the whole game fell asleep at half-time. Also, did not make it last night to see the new episode of House did you? Really need to get Tivo or hook up the VCR and start taping my shows.

I completely forgot about this! Kimmar...good thoughts to your DMIL, I can't beleive they did that to her!

I know that when my grandpa was put into a nursing home we only left him there for 24 hours before we went in and ripped him out. I hope the surgery goes well for her!

That reminds me, my own grandma is at home after being in a rehab place for a couple of weeks. She's highly motivated and now getting around rather well on her own.

Rose Mary, I did catch House last night. Thanks to the beginning of blasted AI (I really hate that show now) it won't be on for 2 weeks It was good though and I am happy with how the story is going

I have kitchen work to do and need to try to get the tree downstairs to the basement. THen off to church to do my thing there.
