Hi gang,

Getting ready to go to bed but wanted to stop in and say hi!!

The psychologist is going to do the ASD testing as well as educational/academic testing (read: IQ). I will have to pay OOP for that one...~$135.00. But jay will have to pay half so I'm not too concerned!! ehhehehehe

Geez...i have dyslexic fingers tonight...sorry for the lousy typing skills.

Anyway, ya'll have a good night and day tomorrow...not sure I will be able to get on...have to do IEPs and go to a training. more BS!!

Have a good one!!
tara

Forgot to say that Harley is home and doing well - poor little thing must be sore from the incision because she was sleeping sitting up - she looks so skinny just after 1 day with no food. She's playing a bit now - that makes me feel good.

Tara - at last the phychologist can do all the testing - good tat you only have to pay 1/2....every little bit helps. Good luck with IEP's tomorrow.

Suzanne- crossing my fingers that your doctor gives you a good report tomorrow.

Amanda continued good thoughts and prayers for your nephew.

Elaine - whatcha baking on Friday??

Alyssa and bf made pecan sticky buns tonite......yummy....got lots left....anyone??

And lastly - my neice leaves on Sunday for her first trip to WDW - she is 19 and going with bf and friends - staying at Saratoga Sprinngs!!

Morning!!

Amanda, prayers heading nephew's way.

Paula, Oh Snap has been around for awhile. And its in Fergie's London Bridge song. (The clean version!) Glad Harley seems to be doing well.

Suzanne, yep, nephew is back to keep me company.

Gotta get these boys up and at 'em.

Morning all! Especially Kimmar...........:dance3:

 Amanda.
Paula, please don't send those sticky buns here. It is diet time again :sad2: .
Hey Lainey, did ya' get all your errands done? Was gonna stop and do my shopping on the way home yesterday but, it was pouring here. Today looks like another yucky day............. We have also had an unusually warm winter. I'm  it!
Suzanne, hope your doc appt goes well. Let me know when you're up this way maybe we can meet up for coffee or something. Oh, maybe you need an alarm on the fridge door for when someone opens it. LOL
Morning Sherry, good luck getting them guys moving after the holiday break. The Wii sounds like fun.
Tiara. Learn lots in training ;)
Uh oh, outta time. Better get to work. later gators.......................

Morning all! I'm a bit tired... didn't sleep that great last night.

Suzanne, that kind of stinks that you had to be informed of the meeting that way. At least someone was nice enough to show up to try to tell you!

Kimmar, you make for a good "et all" ;)

Tara, hope work isn't too bad for you today. The cost of the testing doesn't sound too bad either, especially since you and Jay will split the cost! Pity insurance won't pay, but at least it isn't that expensive.

Paula, give Harley a gentle hug for me. Poor kitty, though I am sure she will recover quickly. Oh I should be baking chocolate chip cookies on Friday. This is for a different group but they love them all the same ;)

Rose Mary, I usually go to Target or grocery stores. Yesterday my errand running wasn't for shopping really though. Today, I wound up going to Target so I could get a Nintendo DS! They've been out of stock for a while and today my local one had four in stock. So I went and stood in line while waiting for the door to open. Two sold immediately... the rest of the people were looking for Wiis.

ACK!!! I have a freak for a sub assistant!!! :faint: lucky me!

Congrats on the DS, Lainey.

Kimmar - you are "et all" and a bag of chips!!!
You say that Kimmar done et all the chips? What about the rest of us??? Lainey, make more cookies!

Alyssa and bf made pecan sticky buns tonite......yummy....got lots left....anyone??
I think Suzanne may have some already..she's been sitting outside in 80 degree heat.

ACK!!! I have a freak for a sub assistant!!! :faint: lucky me!

The Beatles assisted "Young Fred" on a pretty freaky sub as I recall.

Howdy, all. Hijacking bandwidth again-the Verizon guy isn't here yet. Half tempted to get into the hair coloring, because that will definitely bring the guy here. I'll look like this: :scared1:

Alan, my buns don't get sticky below 95 degrees anymore! :lmao: It's amazing how quickly one gets used to the warmer climate!

Paula, enjoy those buns-we're still working on the fudge-going to bring it to work with me.

Lainey, they sent the email out at 3:30, so we wouldn't have gotten it anyway. Somehow, they got the cell phone and land numbers reversed. Tom updated it in his cell, then the scoutmaster did the same.

Tara, we've got IEP on Wednesday. It'll be interesting to see what kind of goals he gets for middle school. Good luck with testing for Jar.

Rosemary, if we head up that way, we'll give you a call. Donna's off Saturday, but works Sunday and Monday. If I was in a better $$ situation at the moment, we'd probably take the drive down to the Keys. They'll be there the next time we all have a three day weekend off.

I'm sitting out here on the lanai again, and someone's smoke detectors are chirping. I suppose they need to change that battery.

Kimmar, you are in a class by yourself-there is no 'et all' about you! :yay:

I think I will do the hair thing-probably the only thing I'll get done before this doctor's appointment.

Suzanne

Hi all.....

Does anyone else have a child that has homework anxiety? For some reason she doesn't get test anxiety, just homework. The nights she has it are rough.

New job is going fine. The week has seemed long, even with only being a 4 day work week, probably because I have gotten off later than 'normal'.

Elaine...I baked cc cookies tonight. We have 3 DS in this house  I keep threatening that one day they will wake up and all game systems will be gone. A lot of arguments and crying when it comes to the games, isn't worth it to me.:rolleyes1

RM...what diet? There was a healthy eating thing going on here till things started with my nephew. Now my sleeping is not good sleep, so I am tired...and stressed.

Was suppose to go to the gym tonight, but got home later than usual and just want to chill out, if only Mandy will settle on the homework:rolleyes:

Todd worked on taking down the Christmas tree.:goodvibes I truly love the guy. He is a sweetheart. Other than being a great handyman, he does it all. I don't need the handyman part, Dad and DB does that:cool1:

I hope things are going well for everyone! Looking forward to tomorrow being Friday and a weekend of no plans.:hippie:

evening gang....still have a headache and family is driving me to want to drink! oh well!!!

Back tomorrow!!!

tara

Sad day here.... two of the girls from DS's school (both seniors like him) were in a car accident this morning on the way to school. They were both life-flighted in critical condition. The driver has a head injury and just got out of surgery and the other girl has a "serious" spinal injury.

Please, please pray for the girls. The girl who was driving has been in school with DS since preschool, the other girl since elementary school. But since high school, he really hasn't been in any classes with either of them.

I think many of you remember our school's history with accidents....:sad1: DD lost so many friends in that 2 year period.:guilty:

Page 4!

Morning!!

Pam, the girls will be in my prayers. So sad.

Elaine, enjoy your DS. :) Get the new Animal Crossing. So much fun.

OK, gotta get the troops moving.

Good morning y'all.

Pam, I am certainly sorry to hear about the girls.

We had a movie night last night. Mrs. AA and Abigail watched something more age appropriate in the bedroom while I allowed Lela to watch POTC for the first time.

No problem at all since she was laughing at the skeletons.

Morning all... hard to explain, but just tired here... so been lazy when it comes to the computer.

Pam, prayers said for all involved in the accident. I do remember the sad history the school has had with accidents.

Amanda, I was one of those kids growing up. Homework was never much fun for me. Not sure how I got through it all  I did fine on tests, but then again I might have been lazy and not anxious about doing it now that I think about it! No matter, good luck!

Sherry, we've had AC for the game cube and I used to love it. Hopefully I'll get a few good games for my birthday.

Morning! TGIF............:cool1:

Pam: that is so sad, hugs & prayers to the girls and their families. :grouphug:
Amanda:  to you. Hope you can get some good sleep this weekend.
Yes, diet time again. Actually, if I would just start eating healthier and quit the fast food I would be ok.
Tara, hope you get some relief from that headache soon.
Suzanne, I would love to go back to the Keys! So fun and laid back
.:wave2: Kimmar!

ok off to work. Later.............

Life sucks...but I just booked my first trip HOME!! :woohoo:

Pam ....

You say that Kimmar done et all the chips? What about the rest of us??? Lainey, make more cookies!.....

...HEY!! Wait a sec!! I didn't 'et al' the cookies!!!! [I didn't 'et al' the Fruit Loops either....]
