Hi gang,

I stopped by earlier while I was still at school but before i could finish and submit someone came into talk to me and by the time she left I had to high tail it out of there so I had to close without sending.

so from this afternoon...Jarrod came home from sick early with a temp of 102.6 and a bad headache. He went to bed with a temp of 101.3 so it had come down but he is still sick. Gave him meds and put him to bed. He will be staying home tomorrow, can't send him to school with a temp. Oh darn, I have to get ready for school with no interference in the morning, no fighting, no arguing, no yelling! I think this sounds like a darn good day!!

Speaking of Christmas letters...I used to write letters in college to all my friends back home...i would type it up and copy it and send it out to everyone and there is one I wish I still had because it was hysterical...I wrote it as a soap opera, complete with commercials, and of course everything was related to what was happening in my world (didn't have prepaid phone cards, cell phones or email at that time...tho I heard they were around...I didn't have them so i had to write to people.)

Amanda if I have time i'll write a letter... so brag away!! Thanks for the VS code...I really need to buy a new bra from them but I'm so dang cheap!

Sherry...cool glasses. I looked at some like that but went back to the round ones...they are ones in those lovely pictures of me up there

Alan...cute picture of your little angels!! Enjoy your day off! sounds good! My TA is taking half the day off tomorrow...woohoo!!

Speaking of which...did I tell you all that my TA announced in the middle of a science lesson on the earth's orbit around the sun that he was "36 years old and just learned that the EARTH rotated around the sun and that the sun didn't move!" He started this off with the question "So you mean the sun DOESN'T move around the earth?" geez louise dude...if you're going to say something this stupid...learn to keep your mouth closed! Even my 6 year old knows the earth is the one moving! moron!!

I forgot to give Caroline a welcome back!! So do share your stories of how bad the Yalies were! I like to hear about snobby people (that's why I read the community board ).

Suzanne...glad you got some relief...I agree the less painful way to go is the best. Hope you feel better!

Off to read around the cb for a bit and then head to bed. I can sleep in by 30 minutes in the morning so I can play a little bit later!!

So far so good today!! No problems.

I had my first meeting as a designee (basically I'm the person to support the teacher and answer questions about the IEPs if they come up) and everything went very well. I survived it. However, this means people are finding out that I'm doing it. I'm a little nervous about how some people might respond...I'm not exactly known as the diplomatic one!!

Jarrod has a doc appt this afternoon...mom spoke to the school nurse and asked her if strep was going around since he still has a fever, headache, and an extremely red sore throat. Sure enough strep is enjoying a run through his school. So mom is taking the two of them to the doc this afternoon and get them both checked out for strep. Just what we need right here before Christmas!

I don't know anything else exciting...so I think I'll go work on my pictures and get them captioned...it takes a while when there are over 300 pictures!

Bump!

Jarrod has Strep throat. And the nice thing is the doc said that if E started showing signs of it then we can just call and she will give us a script for it without being seen.

Off to the credit union to drop off my loan paperwork and set up an appt. time. Gotta get this going!

I'm going christmas shopping tomorrow with mom...no kids!! !!! Walmart, toys r us, Kohl's, the mall!!

Quiet day here... Luis and I spent most of the day watching some of the Harry Potter movies. We'll watch the last one tomorrow and probably a few more movies

Tara, sorry to hear that Jar has strep, but glad that the doc will be willing to give something for E if needed... very nice especially if over the weekend!
I do hope things go well for you with the new job duty at school. I'm sure you'll do great.

Not much else going on here. Luis is out playing poker and I took a long hot shower and now am in bed with my laptop

Man, I am exhausted. I've pretty much been on the run all day. Good thing is, I knocked quite a bit of my Christmas shopping out!
Tomorrow will be relaxing, thank goodness. Junior has to work and I plan on just staying home and vegging.

Evening, all. The moist dressing is doing what is supposed to and to that I howl a resounding "OWWWWWW". I thought the Vicodin would just be to help me sleep, but no, it's to counteract the other stuff. However, I thought a nice soak in the tub would help-it made it worse.

Once I get out of work tomorrow, we're off to WDW. Friends (Heathrow42 and her fiance) are getting married at the Wedding Pavillion on Sunday. We'll be spending the night at the Poly so that we can enjoy the rehearsal dessert party and then get ready there before checking out Sunday morning. We're excited to see them get married-the bonus is that we see it there. If they'd decided to get married in NJ, I would have happily braved the cold and yuck to be there.

Tara, CONGRATS on your DVC purchase! So, this means you're getting the grand villa next year and inviting all your yaya sisters and bothers, right? Poor Jar and the strep-hope he's feeling better soon.

Sherry, can you do some shopping for me? Yes, I love the way cool new glasses.

Lainey, can I trade a relaxing day with you soon? Pretty please?

Hi everyone!

Tree went up Thursday night - no Disney ornaments on it this year except for a little stuffed stitch - with Miss Harley I thought it better to put on ly the unbreakables. I'll post a picture later.

Had a great day shopping yesterday with Alyssa's godmother - our annual extravaganza. Got alot done - but.....only bought 2 things for Alyssa. I did buy her 1 extravagant gift.....a Coach wristlet. Done for Chris - his Ipod was delivered yesterday - got him a Hollister hoodie and gift card - 2 XBOX games.
Also got the Gophone at Cingular for Jeffrey.

Took my girlfriend to court on Thursday - the judge ordered a final court date 1/11 - so even though he firly stated "this will be the last time" - she was thrilled to be able to stay in the house for Christmas.

Went to a Christmas party last night at the pheasant farm where Jeffrey works part time - everyone was really nice and complimenting him on the job he was doing - we were give a $40 gift cert to a local restaurant.

Love the glasses Sherry! I wanted darl frames but I think I am too light and have too narrow face - they look wonderful on you!!

Tara - hurray on the DVC! Hope the meds kick in quickly for Jar's strep. Good luck shopping today.

Back from shopping for a bit, then headed back out with the kids to shop for aunt and uncle, and then to go look at christmas lights.

Jarrod is getting the guitar he wanted (it was only $20), some games, and a race track slot thingy.

Ethan is getting a karoke Elmo, wooden building blocks, a sesame street guitar, a ducky game, and some coloring stuff.

Santa is bringing each of the boys their guitars, one game, and a star wars Mr. Potato head. SC is also bring mommy the Disney World board game This will confuse him about who santa really is.

I bougth them lots of little things too. I think it will be a good Christmas! I also got all of my pollyana's and the people I work for. I'm broke but happy!!!

Hi y'all! We more or less had a repeat of yesterday I swear I love it when he takes time off just to be home... we do nearly nothing.

Suzanne, I hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding! I would say you can enjoy me on a day off, but they really seem to only happen when Luis is home... and not sure I want to share that
