 Hi everyone....

Haven't read to ketchup yet. Just wanted to let you know I was home - trip was wonderful.....so many cookies ...so little time......we toured 17 B&B's - thankfully our hosts suggested ziploc bags so I brought most of the cookies home. Also got printed recipe cards of all the cookies!!

My house looks very bare after seeing all the wonderful decorations this weekend,,,,,so I'm off to vac and dust and start pulliing the decorations out.....more later.

Hugs all around, :grouphug:

Great pics, Todd & Amanda. :)

Paula, glad you had a good time. :)

Beth, safe travels to you.

Woo hoo!!! Pics from Todd & Amanda! I'll look at those in a few!

Getting a jump start on the cleaning that I really need to get done. I have a lot to do this week, and I hope I find time to do it all :)

Todd, I agree... I do think that the 1st was better, but I have a feeling that PotC3 will be the best of them all. Kind of like SW... Ep 5 kind of was blah (though I do think PotC2 is better than Ep 5)

Bethie, I hope you have a fabulous trip to WDW!!!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back :)

Sherry, Luis just rolls his eyes at me when I say a team member is cute or something. Glad that a few here understand :p

Welcome back Paula! So glad you were able to enjoy your trip :)

Good morning y'all!

Todd and Amanda, what great pics! It looks like y'all had a wonderful time, and I thank you for sharing it with us. (I'm still looking at them)

As for us; I can now report that the Christmas tree is up and decorated.
Abigial had stuck some gumdrops into a styrofoam ball with toothpics in a class somewhere and she hung it on the tree.

I thought it was out of range for the cats.

Apparently, I underestimated both Pilot's reach (the poodle part of her seems like like standing on her hind legs) and her love of gumdrops.

And speaking of my girls: both seemed to be very entertaining in church yesterday - more so than I would have liked.

I did not realize they were not having Children's Church during the month of Dec until after the service began. Otherwise, I would have rearranged the seating assigments, but that's beside the point. I was just watching and shusshing kids (a total of 4) as much as listening to the sermon.

However, at the conclusion of the morning service, the preacher said he knew he had kept us long (oh, like that's anything new ) and asked if we were ready to go.

Remind me to explain rhetorical questions to Lela.

She yelled out "Yes!" and the congregation roared. My Sunday School teacher even gave her an "Amen"

Last night both girls were in the children's Christmas presentation of a musical called "Angel Alert". I felt bad for Lela because they placed Abigail next to her and it was apparently more stimulation for Abigail than she could handle. She was "stemming" a lot (shaking her hands, hopping on one foot, etc) but during the performance, she raised her hand.

Then she kept talking to Lela. Lela has no poker face and was clearly displeased. It was obvious that Abigail wanted off stage but Lela wasn't budging because she had a line coming up. I waited for one of the helpers to go get Abigail because I didn't want her father to have to go snatch her off stage during a performance.

In any event, Lela finally half pushed her towards the steps and Abigail went down, whispered in the ear of a worker, and they both dashed to the bathroom. Again amid the amused laughter of the congregation.

Even though we are still fairly new there, everyone knows us by now.

Alan, sorry that things didn't go all that smoothly yesterday. I was hoping it would be good for everyone.

Todd, I saw a car from the stunt show "broken" (looked like it cracked at the door and caved in at the middle). Did that actually happen during your stunt show?

Good Morning, almost afternoon! Gotta jet! later..................

I can't remember what that was about..I will have to watch the video..maybe Amanda remembers, thought it was cool though..

Alan--Your kids seem to be a hit at church.. :rotfl2: ..It is good that people have a sense of humor & not get bent out of shape at things.. :thumbsup2

Rosemary-- :wave2:

Paula-- :wave2:

afternoon gang,

elaine...I guess then it isn't the flu...no high fever...whew!! Just a dang cold that refuses to leave me the heck alone! I"m not even going bowling tonight...I need to sleep tonight!! Thanks for the info on the bedding.

Todd and Amanda...I've started looking at your pics but had to get back to work :( So hopefully, this afternoon I will get to look at them while I'm trying to get mine downloaded.

I started downloading mine but when I was grabbing pics for the download at 730 this morning I grabbed some of the videos and they wouldn't down load. So I need to see if I can put them on image station anywhere...some of them are really cute! (just quick 30sec to 60 second clips). They all end in .mov so I don't know if I need to change their name or what. :confused3

I've asked for a cable for christmas that will allow me to download all of my video tapes to the computer so I can put them on DVDs.!! woohoo!!

Want to add more...but I can't think of it...so I'll come back later!

Hi all

Todd love the pictures :) Have not looked at all of them yet.

Took Jessica to see The Holiday yesterday. Good movie. She really loved it.
She has finals this week. I see lots of studying for her. I don't remember tenth grade being so hard.

Hi y'all... busy day here for me... will be until I get things done at church for Christmas!

Todd, if you ever figure it out, let me know. I've seen teh stunt show a few times, but I don't remember that part of it... I'll ask Luis too (he's seen it at least once more than me) to see if he remembers.

Howdy to Amanda and Rose Mary :wave2:

Tara, not sure where you can upload movies. I'm pretty sure imagestation isn't one of them. Oh wait, I looked at an e-mail I got from a friend... she uploaded them at photobucket. Hope you are feeling better soon too... sometimes colds can be the worst... most of mine turn into sinus infections

Tara, hope you feel better soon.

Hi Tina! My 10th grader doesn't have his finals until January.

Hi Rose Mary! Hi Amanda!

Alan, :lmao: at that pic.

Elaine, hope you find time to relax.

Howdy, all!

Busy week here-got a big visit tomorrow, so some crazy times at work. I love it! However, I did a session at the old job on Friday and I feel really bad that they're not getting one iota of appreciation from the bosses. They truly work their butts off-and not one thank you gets said anymore. :(

Vascular issues are driving me crazy, but I'll get through it.

Todd, thanks for putting up pics, I'll probably get some time to view them tomorrow night.

Alan, it sounds like this is a congregation that has a sense of humor-that's good. The tactic we use with long winded pastors is to go to the early service-time limit on the sermon that way! :teeth:

Tara, hope that cold goes away really quick.

Dave and Bethie, have fun at WDW. Schedule doesn't allow for me to head over that way until the wedding festivities on Saturday night

Lainey, how is the singing schedule looking for you?

Sherry, woohoo on the turkey.

Paula, yummy, wanna send some of those cookies my way?

Tina, got a few years to worry about those finals in December here-although with the proposed calendar, we may not have them until January. I think I'll have to wait for that one to come out on DVD-the menfolk are NOT interested.

Amanda, How's the new job?

I was going to color my hair tonight, but I'm just too darn tired. Oh well!

Suzanne

Sherry-- :wave2:

Suzanne--

kim-- :rotfl2:

Elaine--I looked at the video & couldn't figure it out, wonder if anyone else knows...

Tina-- :wave2: Nice to see ya.. :wave2:

Tara--:duck: Amanda always downloads the pics so I can't help you there.. :guilty:

:wave2: Morning!

Sorry, no time for ketch-up. We have our unit luncheon at Cheesecake Factory today. Yummy, but my tummy isn't feeling so swell right now. Darn it! :sad2: Hope it feels better by then.

Have a fun day all!

Kimmar, hope the traveling was for an enjoyable time, sounds like it to me.

Tara, hope you are feeling better. You are amazing that you went out to put up lights even though you were sick. I guess it beats putting all the little stuff on the tree. Did your Mom decorate it oh so nice? I know Elaine answered part of your DVC question. Did you get your answer about the extra bedding/towels? I asked for extra towels once cuz I like more than one! and we were charged something extra for the service. They brought a complete extra set.

Alan, I’m sure it was somewhat of a stress for you with your young ones, but your story of it is precious. I’m sure it put smiles in the hearts of many adults there as it did for me.

Todd and Amanda, thank you for sharing your vaca pics. They are fun to look at, especially since we won’t be seeing the Christmas decorations when we go. Your ladies look so different from the last time I saw them at the Zoo oh so long ago. Pretty Ladies and oooh someone got taller.

Dave and Beth, hope you have a fantastic time in the World. I know you will come back with more Christmas Spirit. Send some my way. I think I need an extra boost these days.

Paula, glad you had a good time over the weekend. I find it interesting that you get cookies AND the recipe too! That is great.

Elaine, hope you are getting done all you have planned. Enjoy that somehow.

Hi Tina, good luck to your daughter in her finals.

Suzanne, you are one busy lady for sure. No trips to the World til after everyone is gone? Awww, enjoy the wedding there though. I bet it will be spectacular. Too bad about the meal prep place. I’m guessing employees won’t stay long in that environment.

RM, hope you feel better fast! Must enjoy the lunch.

Busy here, I just don’t know where the time goes. It is getting old to be rushing about everywhere. I guess there’s no pleasing me. I don’t like idle either. I took a pic of my dirty Sweet Potato. I need to give her a bath. I hope to show and tell soon. Last night DH baked cookies for me! I brushed the dogs and clipped their nails. Then I did some time on treadmill after I put clothes to wash/dry/fold. Came back to get ready for bed and had to spot clean the rug. One of my pups decided to be sick, so there I was cleaning the mess. I made it to sleep around midnight. Sun is shining now. All is right with my world.

Suzanne, the first church we attended after we were married had a radio broadcast so the services were pretty much a set length.

Our second church had multiple services so we always went to the early one ;)

Now we are in the traditional Sunday School hour followed by Worship Service and it starts later, so it takes up more of a chunk on Sunday afternoon.

But we are happy there, and I think I can sacrifice a little time ;)

Great ketchup Lily!

Todd is wearing lifts now, but he's sensitive about it so you probably shouldn't mention it.

There's something you don't hear every day. Do we have to place warning labels on this thread? ;)
