Just wanted to drop in and let ya'll know I haven't forgotten you!! Been busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger--one of our managers at the store had her MIL pass away Saturday morning and I've been working some extra hours to cover for her. Apparently they were very close and her DS17 is having a rather tough time with it. Off to practice being a ding-a-ling!

Hi y'all! Had knitting tonight and a longish day. Cleo had a worse day... let's just say meds and hairballs don't mix Poor thing. Anyway, in bed and relaxing. I much prefer the bed to the cold weather

Holy smokes, Paula! That is a long time to work! As for iPods, I prefer the video style. I just like having more music than what the Nano holds. The nanos are cute though (luis is getting one for Christmas) and they are better if you work out or moving around a lot (just how they are built inside) so it depends. If he is on the go, I say the Nano. If he is like me and keeps it mostly in car or on my desk, then I say the video. I wouldn't bother with the shuffle.

Lily, I am so sorry to hear that Ted was so sick. I do hope no one in your house has a repeat of that one!

Tara, great dining review there I am curious, did you go to Le Cellier for lunch or dinner? Like I have said in the past, we were totally disappointed at lunch when we went (to the point of forgetable for Luis). Also, you are much better to read than some... many are just mean when it comes to the food

Sherry, we have mostly the flurry version of that S stuff as well. Forutnately shouldn't be too much tomorrow while Luis is driving. He's heading your direction for the day

Bethie, been wondering how you were doing. I am sorry you are so busy and for a sad reason too at work. I hope things slow down some... though I imagine your upcoming trip will be very much loved!!!

Beth-- Got my Lucky Ya Ya shirt on today.. ..Hoping to win on the local radio station..they are giving out good stuff til christmas, my buddy won the 1st season of 24 on DVD last night...The prizes keep accumulating if the peoples name they called don't call in in time..Just called a name & the person won 2 PS 2 games, & yesterday someone won a dvd player & another person won 3 games & a IPOD..They have a PS3 and cameras & DVD sets...So I have been driving Amanda crazy by being glued to the radio..

Tara--How was bowling? I played hookey last night .. Back to work I go tonight...

Bowling was great the first game..174!! Four strikes in a row. The second game was 112. not bad but not my best. The third game was 82! Couldn't get a mark to save my life!!!! So my average will go down one point next week!!!

I've got to leave here soon to get my Mom to the Cleve. Clinic for her oncology visit. Roads were horrible and traffic jams all over. I'm glad the apt. is for a little later since that will give a chance for clearing all the rush hour stuff. DH is back to work. I'm hoping he can hold up. It's going to be a rough one for him. I took some pics of the pups last night and this a.m., but didn't realize the memory was filled and sadly missed a couple of cute ones. I changed the setting to a higher resolution and forgot it doesn't hold as many. Sigh.

I'm flying out very early Thursday morning (on the same plane as EpcotKilterFan and her mom, coincidentally).

And you are wise to stay off the roads as long as possible this morning. I'm sure that the road crews will get them cleared up soon. My drive to work was arduous. It took over an hour to go the 20 miles from home to work. I just hope that things clear up before I have to drive home this evening.

She's making a scarf out of hairballs, I believe. BTW, I purchased a new camera just before Thanksgiving and quickly realized I needed to change settings when the card filled so quickly.

I only had to go out in this stuff to drive 2 of the boys to school. Stupid no HS bussing.

What's the reasoning for that? I rode a big ol' yeller bus all through high school, but then again, it was about 40 minutes away too.
