Morning all! We have that nasty weather coming our way too. The temps are falling and supposed to get snow later today. I think I am more worried about the wind though

Suzanne, I can't tell you how many times I used to do things like that on my phone. I am getting much better now with the new one, but even when I had people on speed dial, I would hit 2 instead of 3 or the like and not notice I hope she will get the hint soon

Bethie, so glad you had a good Birthday Good luck getting your body clock back on an earlier schedule. Tree fluffing is done, and of course my hands are all cut up and hurt. But the worst part is done... I now just have ornaments to put on it. I hope you get some of your stuff that you need to get done soon. It's never fun for me!

Sherry, stay safe in that nasty weather. Kind of scary, but from what I understand, the worst part of it is supposed to stay north of us (Michigan supposedly)

Paula, I hope you enjoy the morning with your dad. Be sure to bring us some yummy donuts

Doing the happy dance . Yeah, it's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't take much to get me excited huh? LOL

Anyhoo, I'm on a roll. bought another Christmas present last night. Yippee, I'm up to two! I did buy some cards to put those stamps on!

Ok, sharing my T'giving adventures: Left Wed. w/DS picked up mom in Melbourne drove to Sis's in Auburndale (about 30 min past Disney) She and fiance built a new house out there but, it sure is out in no man's land. For now that is! Anyway, very nice house. She and I cooked while mom enjoyed watching. And I must say it was all very yummy. Took mom back to Melbourne Fri. spent night w/other Sis then DS and I went to the Turkey Run in Daytona. Had a blast! Lots of older boys w/fixed up toys Saw some really nice fixed up hot rods, good looking men , and more hot rods and motorcycles. Sat. night we caught up w/our mechanic whose car DS had been helping fix up for a couple weeks. he took DS for a spin, revved the engine, did a burn out all that stuff they do w/fast cars. DS loved it. he couldn't thank me enough for taking him. It really was a blast.

Got the stuff for tomorrow's gathering. Only thing I'm missing is some produce from the farm stand and I'll grab that on the way home. I'll put mr.butcher to work on the chicken for me. He'll love that, after cutting 400 pounds of chicken at work today, lol!

It's getting cold out so I am curled up with blankets... I should do something around the house, but it just feels cold!

It was so very windy here today...part of our road was closed due to wires down. Lucky us that is all. I hope I can make it outside for my walks this weekend. Tomorrow is pierogi making day. I'm not sure what kind potato or cabbage. Mom and I are working on it so I guess she gets to pick.

We've had a quiet night here. Bad weather caused a bunch of power outages in the area I guess and our internet has been fuzzy because of it. So we watched Polar Express instead

Paula, I'm making all the food. I'd been saying for months that I'd bring fondue-the one time I did, the food processor was on the fritz. I couldn't shred the cheese. Sooooo, they get all food made by me-and not one thing that has been made in the store.

Very busy night at work, and I've gotta be back at 7am, so I'll pack it in here.

Lily - DH and DD are the only ones who eat pierogis at our house and they love the potato ones.

Had what I suspect is a gallbladder attack last night that lasted until after 1:00 am. I ended up sleeping on the couch with a water bottle because I had to keeping up because I was so sick. Gunny was gracious enough to sleep out there with me and would wake me up with kisses.

No Christmas decorations up yet at this house! I have to go into DD's room and get all of the presents out of there before she comes home for the weekend.

Sherry and Elaine - we had that HORRIBLE wind as well - close to 60 mph winds! It's now 32º.

Morning all... nice and cold out today so I have a feeling we'll be indoors most of the time

Suzanne, I admit I don't host much, but I would imagine that your party would have much better food than mine would. We never seem to have a gathering without pretzels (if that gives you an idea what we do ). I hope it all goes well!

Pam, so sorry you were sick last night My sister has been talking about gall baldder problems, but I didn't realize they get that bad! My SIL and cat both have had issues with theirs as well. In short, I'll just wish it gets better soon since I have no clue what would make you feel better Good luck getting everything done at home!
It's only 27 here right now... we dropped about 30 degrees yesterday. Per the news, my dad wasn't alone and thousands were w/o power. I am just glad we didn't get the snow and the like they thought we should!

Elaine, cold here, too. No power outages, though, but there was some flooding in Lorain County. No snow either!

Just staying home today. Supposed to clean the carpet. Gonna catch up on DVR stuff. Possibly put up Christmas decorations, but not sure. I just don't want to deal with nephew and Tink messing with the tree and making it look like crap.

Decided to come in to work for a couple hours overtime. Wish I had stayed home in my nice warm quiet bed!

Pam- have you had gall bladder problems? They are the worst. Hope you feel better or get that thing taken out! Believe me, you will feel 100% better. Hope you're feeling better.

Lainey. YES, gall bladder problems are the worst! I told someone once it was worse than labor pains. Truly! Stay warm!

It is very dreary here today and I think the temp has dropped by 10 degrees at least since I first got to work. But, I KNOW we aren't as cold as usual.

I think I'm getting out of here soon. Gonna go home and throw something into the crock pot and try to get in a Christmassy mood.
