Great picture of the gang. Who are the folks in front...i don't recognize them? I know everyone else. (am I supposed to know them and I just suck because I dont' know who they are???)

Well your level of suckiness may or may not be coincidental, but that is Nancy and "her" Dave on the front row. :)

Yeah, well I had help ;)

Today is Lela's 9th birthday. We are having a party for her this weekend, but told her she could pick anywhere she wanted to eat for supper.

*Sigh* McDonald's it is... :teeth:

And yes, she calls it "Old McDonalds"

Thanks for helping Tara out, there, Alan!

Yes, we had a great time at Raglan Road last night, although 9 PM really IS too late for dinner when you've been up since 3:30 AM. We had a very smooth flight down and checked in to VWL in record time. Got my ECV and had to laugh--the speed dial has a pic of a turtle at the slow end and a rabbit at the fast end!! Personally, I prefer rabbit, but not good in crowds. Went to MK and met up with Dave's son & DIL and did the Haunted Mansion, Philharmagic, Buzz Lightyear (where I scored 207,300-Planetary Pilot!!), the Teacups (where Dave got some adorable pix of the younger kids) and Winnie the Pooh. Had to miss the fireworks in order to get over to Raglan Road for dinner. Best part of the day was being told I drive like a Nascar driver--this was in the queque for Philharmagic where I learned I can turn the ECV on a dime!! Goin' round the corners was such fun!! Wheeeeeee!!

Back to more regular hours today. Spent the morning at AK, where the cast member who let us thru the gate warned me to keep it under 25mph, no pop-a-wheelies, and no drag racing with the other guests. DARN!!!! So, we started with Festival of the Lion King, one of our most favorite shows. Then we rode Expedition Everest in the very back car and loved it!! Also did It's Tough to be a Bug and had some lunch at Flame Tree BBQ.

Headed over to MK and tried to hook up with Rose Mary, but missed her somehow at POtC. Got to see the live "Jack Sparrow" thing and everything I've heard about the guy is absolutely true! He's positively FANTASTIC!! The "show" was great, too short at only 10-15 minutes, but between the 2 of us, Dave and I probably took more than 50 pix! We are back at our room right now, getting ready for dinner at Whispering Canyon, then we have MNSSHP, where we'll be meeting up with Elaine and Luis again. I'm trying to talk Dave into asking for ketchup, at least, at WCC, so we can provoke the cast members. :teeth:

Hope ya'll enjoy the "vicarious" visit to WDW with us. Love and miss ya'll!! :grouphug:

Dave--thanks for posting the group pic!

Beth--Heckuva busy day..can't wait to see the pics...

Tara--when/where are we meeting up? I'll give you our cell's when it gets a little closer..I'm excited because I just ordered my camcorder

LK--thanks for bringing Alan back.. :sad2:

Nice to hear Amanda enjoyed her nap despite all my yelling at the TV with the football games and my fantasy team stinking

ELaine-- :thumbsup2

Tara--:duck:

Rest of the gang-- :wave2:

First time on the computer since Sat. morning. Been a busy weekend. The Youth Rally was great. The weather on the way there was HORRIBLE, though. Yesterday was cousin-in-law's baby shower...food was awesome! :thumbsup2: Today I got Jared's b-day gift and an ice cream cake to take to my mom's tomorrow. :teeth:

Alan, nope, no tour for me. :teeth: Happy B-day to Lela!! :bounce:

Kimmar, :lmao: at the pic!

Dave, great pic. Thanks for sharing. :)

Beth, wow, your squeezing alot in, huh? :bounce:

Elaine, glad your enjoying your time. :)

Todd, 2 boys are being Scream, 1 is being some hideous looking monster thingy, and 1 isn't dressing up at all. :teeth:

Can't believe I forgot this...Happy birthday Leia!! woohoo!! Dinner at Mickey D's is always a winner for the kids!!

Todd...way to go on the camcorder!!!We'll swap numbers and then we can play telephone tag around the MK!! We can really irk the people that don't like phones in public!! :rotfl:

Beth...glad ya'll are having a good time! I can't wait until I go in24 days! woohoo!!!

Sherry...sorry the weather was ba for your trip. why doesn't the one boy want to dress up? is he the oldest...therefore too old for this nonesense???

Paula...got any pics of Alyssa from the party yet?

elaine...how's the empanada enjoying WDW? Is he/she cooperating and letting you not be nauseous the whole time?

Had bowling...I sucked again but my team rocked so that is all that matters. I promised to pick up the slack next timee they have an off night. I think I'm having a flare up of some joint issue...both knees hurt and my middle finger on my right hand hurts (and no I've not been using it for driving purposes lately!!). It all started to hurt tonight when I started bowling. It did this back in August but then cleared up so I'm not sure why it is acting up now. Looks like motrin and I are going to become good friends again!

I have to take Jar to the doc tomorrow about his meds and while we are there he is getting a flu shot. So i called the peds office this afternoon and asked if I could bring Ethan in too and get his shot at the same time. So both kids are getting shots on Halloween! hehehehe

Also gotta make "ants on a log" to take to school for Jarrod's "party" at the end of the day...not really supposed to be a Halloween party...jsut a chance to have some treats on a nice October afternoon!

Have a good evening gang!!

tara

Morning!

Well, I am officially the mom of 3 teens!! :faint:
Today is Jared's 13th Birthday!! :mickeyjum

Tara, sorry to hear about the joint issues. Yes, its the oldest that doesn't want to dress up. He hasn't wanted to trick or treat for a few years now.

Happy Belated Birthday Lela.

Happy Birthday Jared.

I thought it was Nancy but didn't want to say anything just incase it wasn't. Nice to see you both.

Today work is giving flu shots. I also have my first interview for the other job here. Tomorrow I have the second one. This week is nothing but meetings!

Yup...girls are being cats, same as last year. Saved us money. Cassie's outfit is too short in the legs, but she insist on wearing it. I showed her several other options and the only one she chose was out of stock. :(

Sherry...glad you survived the rally's.

Tara...good luck with the doc visit today. Hope your joints feel better. Don't forget you need to stand in front of a major walkway while making the call to Todd;)

later!

with my stroller turned sideways to block the path even more! :rotfl:

Good morning...okay maybe "good" isn't the right word. Ethan had what Jarrod had the other night...so I was up changing sheets at 2 in the morning and then up every ten minutes after that to clean up smaller messes. I think we went through 4 jammies, 3 blankets, and a sheet and mattress pad clean up. When I remade the bed, I put on a mattress pad, a sheet, a mattress pad, and another sheet. I figured if he really made a mess i would just need to strip the top layer off and I would have a second set already in place. He was supposed to get a flu shot today but I think I'm going to skip it for him today. he will probably be fine (if it is the same thing as his brother) in a couple hours but I don't want to chance it.

Jarrod woke up extremely oppositional today...he even went to bed at 8 last night, so he should have been in a good mood. But NOOOOO he had to wake up ready to fight

Congrats on being the mom of another teenager Sherry!! After teaching teenagers for 7 years...I'm not exactly looking forward to those years!! hehehehe

Off to copy some papers before i go to the doc with jarrod. Have a good one all!!

tara

Good morning all. We arrived yesterday fine. Had a nice visit with my son and his wife. They had a 12 year old niece with them. Cute and nice kid. Then we went over and visited with some ya yas. Here is apic from Ragland road last night.
