Since I'm sure Kimmar was using empanadas not only to represent "Little Lainey" but also husbands so...

As long as those empanadas are baked and not fried, I am so into them. My favorite would be lightly spiced beef with some cheddar cheese.

You consider you hubby to be hunky (beef-cake) and spicy, a non-drug user (not fried), but a bit cheesy?

All of this WDW talk is really making me want to go so I hope y'all have a great time.

We did "the drive" once - 24hr straight - since we both hate to drive it was not fun - have flown every time,

Went to WCC last September - for breakfast - no kids with us but it was fun.


Already went to DD for breakfast with my dad - gotta get this house cleaned - working again tonit e- no day off this week.

Just got back from the grocery store. Stopped by McD's and got some nuggets and fries for me and nephew for lunch.

Elaine, not too much planned for today. Groceries are outta the way, and the only other thing I have to do is hit the bank and then go to Babies R Us tonight to get a gift for Junior's cousin's baby shower on Sunday.

It costs way too much for us to fly (plus I'm terrified! LOL) so we really have no choice but to drive to FL.

Suzanne, I wanted to try WCC last year but we never made it. And next year when we go the only place we'll probably go to is Chef Mickey's since DH LOVED it.
That Twinkie Tiramisu sounds sooo yummy!

I need to take a vote: If you were going to Disney for the last time, in November, and could only attend one special event (eating, MVMCP, shows) what would you not miss. I think Todd and I may plan one special, extra expense thing, but I want it to be a winner.

I need to take a vote: If you were going to Disney for the last time, in November, and could only attend one special event (eating, MVMCP, shows) what would you not miss. I think Todd and I may plan one special, extra expense thing, but I want it to be a winner.

MVMCP! We love the fireworks show, the cookies and cocoa and the cool (for Florida) weather.
The only other thing I'd want to do is try to get an IllumiNations cruise (but I'd need to get others to chip in)

OMG you must have been outside my house this morning when I threw jarrod in the car this morning!!

He was being pokey and I had tried everything so I finally opened the door and told him to get out we were leaving. He didn't have his shoes on, nor did he have his long sleeve shirt on over his short sleeve one, and didn't have a coat either. I threw his stuff in the car and threatended to start driving even if he wasn't in the car when I was pulling out. BTW..he made it into the car. I got to the end of the street just as the bus pulled up (almost 5 minutes late...glad I wasn't waiting) so I jumped out of the car grabbed his shirt, his shoes, and his book bag and headed to the bus. He was screaming "No I don't have my shoes on" I just ignored him, got on the bus, put his stuff in a seat and left him on the bus. The bus driver was and said that she had had mornings like that with her children as well!! The kids were all in awe when they saw me on the bus and were saying "It's Jarrod's mommy. She's going to school." I said, "Nope, Jarrod couldn't behave this morning." Nothing like a little humiliation to make sit up and take notice!

I emailed his teacher and apologized for the behavior I knew that he was going to have today. I never heard from her and when he got home he called me to tell me that he didn't even get yellow for one minute today! I guess he took me seriously.

Amanda...I LOVE MVMCP...I love the snow on main street (It's just not the same to me at MGM), the parade it cool too, and it's just fun. My mom is making me a Mickey Christmas vest to wear that day, so I already have my vest and my Goofy Santa hat!

I'm still here at work and I'm not getting anything done, so I think I will go home and do some cross stitching!!

We are going to head out to the zoo in a bit for their halloween festivities. The kids get to dress up and get candy from folks around the zoo. Ethan is still sleeping so we are waiting for him to wake up, I will not break the cardnal rule of never waking a sleeping baby!! I may be dumb but i ain't stupid!! hehehe

Good morning Ya Ya Family! It's a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning and I'M ON VACATION!!! Actually, it's my day off for last week, but what the heck. We're packing and picking up last minute necessities (like $$$$) today. I'm sorry I missed wishing Elaine safe travels, but we'll be following close behind--we fly out shortly after dawn tomorrow.

Glad to hear Jarrod straightened up for school, just sorry it took such an episode to turn him around. Tara It really IS harder on the mom, isn't it?

Amanda, it just isn't Christmas to me without hearing the Christmas story and the wonderful music at the Candlelight Processional. But you can do that for free and you asked about a paid event, didn't you? Then MVMCP gets my vote, too. It's that magical snow on Main Street, the parade, and the special fireworks that makes it so moving. Although, when they add "Let There Be Peace on Earth" at the end of Illuminations, I get all teary, too. But, I've got a question for ya.
