Morning. I just love being woken up to children fighting over the Gameboy games! The sad part is that we bought two copies of the games in question and Neil wants to play Kevin's because he bought better characters (Lego Star Wars). Oy!

Yeah, I know, why not get an AP? Well, if I put up the fence, I can get a dog and use the tax refund to get the Jacuzzi for the backyard! The BG/SW AP's are pretty good and Ed's fear is if we buy the Disney APs, we'll ignore BG and Sea World.

Lainey, I figured it was your back when you said you'd give the coasters a pass. We've already talked about the other thing. Besides, I think you wouldn't keep that news to yourself for that long, lol.

Sherry, have fun at Kohl's-lemme know if you see good sales on sheets! :teeth:

Suzanne

Sherry, that sounds like a nice way to spend the day! I hope you enjoy the chili and find something good at Kohl's

Oh the back and neck aren't horrid, but I learned my lesson last time. W/in a few weeks after getting back from WDW, my back wen tout completely. I've been told I shouldn't ride them, and I keep doing it. I kind of knew Feb would be my last run with coasters big like that for a while. I did them all ;)

I can see your point about the AP taking away from BG and SW though. I'm not sure how true that would be for me. But the jacuzzi would be a nice thing to have. Oh and you are right, I couldn't keep that other thing secret for too long... though y'all know I'd go on coasters anyway if that were true. Things like that wouldn't keep me away :p

For those hanging out with me at WDW, my aunt will be in her ECV and probably won't be going on coasters either. I figure since I have done them all, it isn't a huge deal anyway to hang with her.

I think cats know when you have to go do something. They intentionally curl up on you when they know this ;)

 home from BG. Tired puppy!! I'll visit tomorrow!!

Good moring all! It's a balmy 35 degrees and I'm debating whether I should put hte heat on or just get out the heating pad - haha. I'm up and working 7am - 1pm today - no day off this week.

This afternoon we are going to a local winery with my BIL and SIL - should be fun.

Stayed home yesterday - started cleaning the house but never finished - oh well ....there's always tomorrow. Made apple strudel muffins for Alyssa to take back to school with her.

Did I mention that one of the side effects from these meds is loss of appetite....I mean none.....zero.....zilch.....me - the junk food queen has to force myself to eat and has no desire for snacks......

Chris is spending a little bit more time at home after getting the "you are still a part of this family but all you seem to do is just sleep here" talk from Jeffrey. And I'm still battling the "what could I have done differently" woes....

Elaine - I would be in the sitting-out group for coasters too - Jeffrey and the kids love them - I can't even watch one on TV without feeling dizzy!!
Suzanne.....decisions.....decisions.....choose wisely!!!!!
Sherry - how was Khols - buy anything good??
Tara - hope you had a good day yesterday.

I think the only good thing about working the 7am shift is that the phones are quiet.... :surfweb:

Oh - did I mention that I was successful in getting a Vera Bradley bag on ebay? I am soooooo excited - large duffle bag - retails for $78 - I got it for $60 (that included shipping) - brand new with tags - really nice!!

I probably won't check in again till tomorrow - quite frankly I'm surprised I was even able to post - usually when logged into all of my work stuff it kicks me out ....

Hugs all around.....have a good day everyone!! :grouphug:

Tara, hope you had fun at BG!!

Paula, woo hoo no your e-bay win! That's a good deal :) Have fun at the winery. As for the side effects, I guess that could be a mixed blessing. Better than a side effect being making you want to eat more! ;)
Sorry that coasters make you so dizzy. They usually don't bug me at all. Though if my neck is out of whack, it will make me not feel so hot and give me a horrid headache. I hurt my neck once on a spinning ride (it got jerked) and ever since it hasn't exactly been the same. I now pretty much avoid those completely!

Morning!

Had a fun night last night. Game was awesome! :bounce: Went to Kohl's for a top for me, and ended up with $90 worth of stuff. :teeth:

Suzanne, they had an early bird sale, and some sheets were 50% off. Might've only been good yesterday, though. I hear ya on the arguing about games. Constant battle here. :rolleyes1

Tara, hope BG was fun.

Paula, great deal on the bag. :yay: Enjoy the wine tasting.

Elaine, so true about cats. My cat doesn't sit with us much, but the few times she does, is usually when I have to get up soon. :rolleyes1 :teeth:

Gotta start getting ready for church!!

Wow, I must've scared everyone away! :scared1:

Went to church, ran to Pat Catan's to get stuff for Jordan's model of an atom (which he waited until the last minute to do! GRR!), then went to a Chinese buffet for dinner. Now, I plan on relaxing the rest of the night. :)

First time today checking in.

Got a cold...again...grrr. So this is short and sweet!

Hi, hugs, see you tomorrow!
tara

No scaring here.. just watched movies and napped today

Off to bed

Feel better soon Tara!

:wave2:

Howdy! Another cub scout day-we went and sold popcorn at Cracker Barrel. Then we had brunch and Kev and I stayed and sold popcorn for another two hours. :thumbsup2 There's a huge RV dealership next door-one of the owners was there and said he could use Kevin on his sales lot! :rotfl: Gee, don't know where that selling thing comes from ;)

Apparently, our Packmaster is phasing out of our group, and the Asst and Committee Member were changing roles to keep the group covered. I offered to take the Asst Packmaster role-since we have really jumped into this and are ALL enjoying what we're doing. This is on top of Ed being asked to be the Asst in Neil's den. What can I say? Scouting agrees with us. Stop laughing, Pam!

Sherry, I didn't see the sale when I was in mine. I think I'm going back to Target tomorrow and grabbing the two sets of 250ct that were on clearance. I'm just tucking them away for now, and preparing for six months from now! :teeth:

Paula, anxiety and stress diet, eh? Been there. Between the Xanax and the stress, I lost 40 pounds in 2 months when ex left. :grouphug: As my mom would say "this too, shall pass". It's hard letting go and letting the baby bird fly on his own. Heat or Heating pad? Hmmm, sounds like I need to send you the electric blanket I was hiding from sherry!

Tara, feel better. This is too early in the school year to get that cold.

Lainey, nitey night!

Okay, camping vets-throw your suggestions at me. We're 5 days away and I've got the baby wipes, the Off, the sleeping bags, tent, chairs and stove. Need the table, but what else?

Suzanne

Morning!!

Supposed to be in the 60's today. :yay:

Tara, sorry about the cold. Feel better soon.

Elaine, sounds like a nice relaxing day.

Suzanne, no help with camping. I only do hotels/motels. :teeth: Glad your enjoying Scouts so much and good job Kevin on the popcorn selling. :thumbsup2

Dining canopy, for over the table so you can cook and eat out of the sun and any possible rain. Spring-type clothespins come in handy for any number of uses. Large trash bags--obviously for your trash, but they can be used as ponchos, should an unexpected rain storm hit. Hatchet--hammer head on one side, for pounding tent stakes, and blade on the other, for chopping fire wood. Graham crackers, Hershey bars and marshmallows for s'mores!!! :teeth:

Gotta race off to work, but had to respond to that one!! Mad, mad love all around!!! :grouphug:

Morning all...

Had a family weekend since it was too cold to camp. Enjoyed Chuck e Cheese, which we rarely do. We go early to beat any crowds. Then a fire pit in the evening. Sunday was a hike at Natural Bridge and then off to a pumpkin/apple orchard for a day of fun. Been fighting headaches all weekend, but survived.

Suzanne...camping. We love camping. Our tent is huge, fits 4 queen size air mattresses (although you would not have much room to walk left). We take the following items...flash lights for each kids and adult, starter logs, wood, stove, lanterns, extra propane tanks, table clothes and holders, utensils, cooking utensils, cooking pans and pots, mixing bowls, dish pan, wash clothes and drying towels, hand soap, dish soap, chairs, sleeping bags, extra covers, air mattresses, pillows, marshmallow sticks for the fire, glow in the dark necklaces to find the kids:), napkins, paper towels, tent, screened in tent, a gallon or so of water for cooking, lighter, charcoal for grilling, a small grill, travel games, first aid kit, foil, baggies, strainer in case you do pasta, insect spray, battery operated air mattress inflater and deflater, line to hang wet towels on, bathing items, flip flops for shower, towels...and I am sure there is more. Most campsites have tables unless you are going primative. Then you have the food and clothing. I always say we deluxe camp:) Our boxes stay packed, except for the food...so getting ready to camp doesn't take long.

Our furniture comes tomorrow  ...so tonight I need to clean all the woodwork and floors.

I hope everyone is doing well. Have a terrific week.

Thanks for the tips!

We're camping in the infield of a race track, so it'll be primitive. I hadn't listed everything, but both of you gave me suggestions I can use. :)

Suzanne ~

I love, love, LOVE, your Halloweeen Mickey toppers! :thumbsup2

:moped: Quick drive by hello.....have chiropractor appt this morning.

Camping suggestions...quarters for showers ..plastic grocery bags to hold shower items...deck of cards....freeze water in plastic milk jugs for your cooler - it'll last longer...

Had a great afternoon yesterday - we ended up going to 2 winerys...tasting was great - Jeffrey bought a bottle of wine and 2 glasses for us at each one - came home and had his yummy stew for dinner.

More later.....

Happy Monday Morning to all-----------NOT!
:furious: I'm not a Monday person!!

Had a wonderful weekend visiting w/my sisters, niece's and mom. It was my niece's b'day. Now I'm back to the grind! ERRRRR.......

Only two more weeks, only two more weeks. I can make it, I think, until my WDW trip. And :woohoo: I don't have to hide from Lainey, so she won't make me ride the scarey rides :rotfl: I'll be more than happy sitting w/her aunt :teeth:

Ok, gotta work :sad2: Darn it!
