Morning!

Took my test yesterday and got a 92! Then my assistant finished and she got a 93! I'm glad she did, she was stressing so much about it. We're done for three years, woohoo!

Ed did some honeydo stuff yesterday and hung our new lamp, see?

Now he wants to call the Dale Tiffany outlet back and get one of the other lamps for the front entryway!

The weather forecast this morning said "We have a cold front coming through, highs will be around 88" , though I miss what Bethie's got today. Some fresh apple cider, a bushel of winesaps to make apple butter with would be great.

Tara, I'd send you, but I don't have preventative stuff anymore. I do have a nice allergy headach that's been going on for a couple of weeks and we're trying to figure out exactly what it is. Pack meeting tonight-we have to drill the boys to make sure they know all their stuff for their Bobcat. I have to go pick up their uniforms in a few.

Lily, what's the countdown?

Dunno if I mentioned, we found out we'll be closed from Christmas Eve until New Year's Day. I invited my sis and her family down for the holiday. I'm so hoping they can make it, but BIL has to see how many bookings he's got for the week (Limo driver). If they don't come down, we're thinking of a trip to Key West for a couple of days.

Suppose I should go run all those errands I need to do today.

We had a wonderful cruise! It will take me a few days to get the pics on the 'Net, but I'll give a brief trip report at that time. BTW, I'm tired of Imagestation; does anyone have another photo sharing site they recommend?

So I'm sitting at my desk with the lights off enjoying quiet and my lunch. I have drugs on board so i'm getting a little loopy now! Next thing I know (while i'm enjoying this peace and quiet) a group of students at my door with their teacher. My room is available for read aloud tests. There goes my peace and quiet for an hour ugh! oh well, as long as I don't read things that make me lol I should be okay.

Eating homemade beef stew leftover from dinner last night. yummy!! I even remembered to bring butter so I can have my buttered bread to go with my stew. I don't know if I eat it b/c it goes with the stew or because I want the butter!

Elaine..have fun caulking. I had to do that in my first college dorm room.
Every time it rained my floor would leak by the window. I gave up asking for them to fix it and went and bought some waterproof caulking and fixed it myself!! hehehe

oh my the computer screen is swimming..I think the med cocktail has kicked in! my old boss stopped by (she's the pITA from 2 years ago that has become a friend now) and i was telling her what I needed for my class room in terms of phonics readers and she told me to order it Now I have to go searching for what I need!

My DS is playing football for his Middle School this year. Oh my, I didn't realize how stressful it could be standing on the sidelines hollering and screaming. so far, they have won 2 and lost 1.

Suzanne, what a lovely lamp you have there! Nicely done, Ed! And the biggest woo hoo for getting such an awesome score! So glad to hear you both did so well! No matter what you get planned for the holidays, I am just glad it won't be filled with work!

Lily, our weather did turn bad later today, but not before I had a chance to spend the nice hours outside. We're up and down with the weather... I already miss the summer

One of my favorite things to eat is warm sourdough loaded with butter with stew Hope you survived the cocktail of meds Oh and good for you for caulking the window! Much better than waiting for them to come and say "well, maybe we can fix it" as most places do

Rose Mary, glad you stopped in! I can only imagine how nerve wracking it would be to watch your son play football. We just had some middle school kids stop by asking for money for the sport. What position does your DS play?

I have some more laundry to fold, but I am so dang tired... I might just relax until House comes on.

Chilly here - waiting for some sunshine.

Elaine - I went to the Animal Shelter yesterday to see the kittens that would be available on Sunday - unfortunately they are all "oh-hold" already!! Tehy tried to talk me into taking an older cat - a girl - calico - seemed very sweet but looked way too much like my Fluffy....I think I need one that looks completely different. Guess I will just wait...

Hubby called last night - still having a great time - taking lots of pictures - etc. Alyssa called - she may FINALLY get the OK today to switch dorm rooms.Chris came home in a bad mood last night and didn't take his car to school today - I'm wondering if he lost his parking privileges.....never a dull moment.

I'm totally unmotivated today.....so I guess I'll just do house stuff - working tonite 6-11.

I'm here!! I showered today too but that just meant everyone and their brother have come to bug me today! ugh!

I'm staying until 6 tonight b/c I have a student with after school detention. He slammed a locker shut (with another kid's hand in it) after I had already told him to knock it off. He was playing and the other kid had already done it to him but by the time he did it, I had already given him the warning not to do it. So I get to sit with him this afternoon! Fun!!

RM..glad to see you!! My kid is such a wimp I doubt he would ever do football. i think he will be more into the cerebral things...chess, debate, and other white collar stuff! At least with those my insurance won't take a hit! hehehe Now Ethan on the other hand...i think he is ready for midget wrestling! He has teh build for it that's for sure!

okay, gotta continuet he quest for my desk. It's hard to believe that only a month into school and I can't find the top of my desk with a homing device!
