That's cuz I'm tickled pink all over since I'm going on a cruise!

Well folks, y'all have a great week.

I am going to take off tomorrow to do some last minute stuff, and then we leave for this weekend.

I'll be back onnline on the 26th, so try not to have too much fun without me.

Tara, stay uninjured....

See y'all later!

Finally got my Nexium. I had heartburn sooo bad. I have acid reflux, so my Nexium is a godsend. :teeth: And, I had bloodwork done. :faint:

Alan, have a great time. :)

Paula, good find at Old Navy. Boo hiss for jury duty.

Beth, I hear ya about the gray day making you unmotivated. I feel the same way. Blech!

:wave2: See ya later Alan :)

Sherry, yuck on the bloodwork. I hate that too, but I am glad you got your Nexium in! I've never had heartburn before, but I can only imagine how much of a PITA that is to deal with.

Back form choir and now Luis is chatting with my brother on the phone.

It feels like it should be much later than it is. Oh well...

...uhhhh, we get out of school at 3:25PM ['ellen' is on at 4] and I live less than a mile from the school......
you suck!!!! We don't get out until 3:50 and then I'm at least 25 minutes from home if traffic is good!

Yuck on the assistant... is he also scared that you will laugh at him for not knowing how to do something? (in short, I have no clue what that machine is that you said)
You are right on one thing though... I did hear that Orli broke up with ubber skinny chick :teeth:
I'm not sure if he is scared of me, but if he doesn't straighten up he will become scared of me!! The Riso is a high speed copy machine meant to do large sets of the same thing. You only use it if you are doing something that requires more than 15 copies of the same page....it can do 100 copies in under a minute. it's a pretty cool machine but to do the double sided you have to take the paper out, turn it over and put it back in the machine to get the other side done. He's been at the school for 3 years....you'd think he would know the difference by now!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: whatcha trying to say huh??? :lmao: I promise to do my best to remain uninjured the rest of the week!!

Sherry...glad you got your meds! I know how my mom feels when she doesn't get her meds and how I felt while I was preggers with Ethan....man o' man was I hating life! He was supposed to be born with enough hair to cover three babies the way my stomach hurt...wouldn't you know he was born bald as a cue ball!

Paula...good luck with your meeting. Great deal on the shopping! I say I'm gonna shop on line but then I spend all my time on the dis and never get around to ordering anything!!

Today went well...we spent the whole teaching day in the general ed. science classroom doing a lab demo. We were using popcorn kernals frozen in margarine to show how molecules don't move when they are in a solid but as we added heat (hot plate and beaker) the molecules started moving and getting further and further apart....the best part is when the kernals pop right out of the beaker and land at the feet of the kids! The kids loved it!!! My kids were little angels while we were in there. I was pleasantly surprised!!

I had my TA (teacher's assistant...before anyone gets any other ideas!!) sitting with one student each class as these were my "loose cannons" and that went well. Nothing for him to screw up today!!

I'm going scrap booking tomorrow night after work and then we are going to Busch Gardens on Saturday for Howl-o-Scream. I'll try to get back in tomorrow night sometime!

hugs to all,
tara

But would you know your way around Risa?

Only Beth would get this
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I GOT it, I GOT it!!!
Although, ya know, I could always pretend I didn't know my way around just so Jean-Luc and Will could show me around!

Morning!

This morning is grocery day. Fun, fun. :rolleyes1 :teeth:

Tara, have fun scrapping. And at BG. We are going to try to get to CP for HalloWeekends this year. Its so much fun. :teeth:

Time to get my troops moving. TGIF!! :bounce:

This is probably not good - as soon as Beth metioned Jean-luc and Will I got it too.....

Happy sailing Alan, and scrapping Tara....see you at the grocery store Sherry - Elaine won't be there- she's got a ton of leftovers....

My meeting went well yesterday - long day thought - I was there from 1-4:30pm - came home - went to the photographers with Chris and worked again 7pm - 11pm. The meeting focused on me really stepping up and only doing management duties I am quite motivated.
Chris' pics came out really well. Didn't realize till I saw them though he has 1 really droopey eye (what movie was that in....The Laaaazy Eye......Fox & Hound??) Anyway - except for some pics with a forced smile I like them alot - sorta kinda wished he wore a brighter shirt - he wore a bottondown - khaki color with a navy stripe from AE. I don't have a scanner but as soon as I get them I'll take a "picture of a picture" and post. The presentation was nice - she set up all of his proofs to a slide show with music background and she let him pick out the music - then we chose pics for yearbook and proof packet from her laptop.

More later taters......

Good morning everyone! I decided to turn the alarm clock off after Luis left so I could just sleep in. It's been one of those really draining weeks and since naps weren't happening I decided I deserved this ;)

Tara, that sounds like a really cool machine you have there!!!! I run about 50 copies off a week at church and something like that would make it go so much quicker I bet!
That sounds like a heck of a fun experiment you did at school. I wish some of my teachers had been that fun when it came to science and the like!

Bethie, I bet Jean-Luc and Will would be happy to take you on a tour no matter what :p

Sherry, I've never been to the Halloween stuff at CP. Only did the ones at Wyandot Lake. Sounds like a lot of fun though. Do they keep the rides open as well for people to go on during the Halloween parties?

Paula, it sounds like the meeting went well for you then! I hope that it all works out great for you! And can't wait to see the pictures of Chris. I know several people with a lazy eye... some worse than others. I just learn after a while which one is the dominant eye so I can look them in the right eye when talking to them :p
Not sure which movie that is... I love F&H but haven't seen it in a while.

Not sure what I am up to today. Probably errand running and just light cleaning in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Weekend plans are kind of blah as well... I hope someone here is doing something fun :teeth:

shh...I'm sneaking in for a bit!!! i've been running non stop and I needed a break. I'm also watching my neighbors bunny (Gilbert) run around my room! He scared me the first time he came in (we share a work room and the door to the work room was open) I just saw this giant rodent thing out of the corner of my eye. Gave me a bit of a fright until I realized who it was!! ehhehe

a heck started chasing gilbert and now the kids are back!!! gotta dash!!

tara

Aww, I like little bunnies :) I just saw some at the pet shop I was at earlier today.

Of course I got in a conversation with an elderly gentleman for about 30minutes. First about cat food then about his son and travels abroad... nice guy but I sure didn't expect to take that much time out of my day doing one little errand :p

Not much else going on... just waiting for Luis to come home :)

.... :furious: we got our FIRST paycheck today and my raise [from getting my Master's Degree] wasn't in it!!!!! :badpc: ....and to think, we had to submit the forms for THIS year back in October 2005....
cursing.gif
ARGHHHH!!!!!...something about the final transcript wasn't submitted from the college IN TIME for the 'formal' approval by the board of ed......HOGWASH!!!

Elaine, glad you got to sleep in. Saturday's for HalloWeekends they have the rides open. I think on Friday and Sunday they have limited rides open.

Kimmar, what a PITA. Should we cheeto them? :teeth:

Paula, glad the meeting went well.

Tara, awww, bunnies.

Good morning y'all! Boring day here for me, so I will probably no help add much fun here :p

Kimmar, that really sucks about the pay. I hope you can figure that all out really soon

Hmmm... Saturdays have the rides open? I might just have to look into that, though with football, I'm not sure we could ever wind up going!

So is anyone here doing anything fun? I think for us, we're having one of our first down weekends in a while!

Morning!!

We are taking the boys to see Gridiron Gang this morning, then going out to eat somewhere for lunch. They still haven't decided where to go yet. :teeth:

Elaine, here is some info from the CP site:

Saturdays and Sundays are normal operating days with all rides scheduled to be in operation. All rides, however, are subject to periodic downtime due to maintenance or weather conditions. There is limited ride availability on Friday evenings.

Rides available (weather permitting) on Fridays: Chaos®, Troika, Blue Streak, Midway Carousel, Raptor®, Cedar Downs, Kiddy Kingdom (6 rides only), Cadillac Cars, Matterhorn, Scrambler, Skyhawk, Wave Swinger. WildCat, maXair, Iron Dragon, Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister, Magnum, Power Tower and Millennium Force®. All other rides and Camp Spooky will be closed on Friday Fright Nights.

Good morning! Got the laundry caught up only to find a full hamper in the closet. :guilty: And Dave is off on another business trip at 0-dark-hundred Monday morning. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow? Today, though, is a play day!! While Elaine and Luis rest up, we're going to the Renaissance Festival!! I asked nicely if I could have a Saturday off before we go to WDW and I got the whole weekend. So I cleaned up the office at the store last night as a way of saying thank you.

Hope ya'll have a wonderful Saturday, whether you're just relaxing or running errands or chasing the rug rats. Mad, mad love all around!! :grouphug:

Hi y'all! Ran some errands and just ran some numbers for WDW. I wanted to make sure (again) that the DDE card discounts would more than make up for the lack of meal plan. It seems to be just fine again. I even over estimated what we would get at each place just in case :)

Sherry, thanks again for that info. I'm not sure we'll ever make it up there for that though. I just looked at the football schedule and it seems we have no weeks off this year :( Kind of stinks since it takes out a lot of saturday plans we usually would make.

Bethie, I do hope you get to enjoy your weekend off and the Ren Fest! I haven't been to one of those in ages

Luis is watching the OSU game. I've seen some of it and I am NOT happy with our team. Not in the least

Oh well, I'm off to work in the kitchen some and then take a shower :wave2:

Afternoon gang,

Didn't make it to BG today...partly cuz I was afraid I would have to rip Jarrod's head off and partly cuz it is raining here (wasn't supposed to rain today :( ) Jarrod got a hold of a pair of scissors and cut holes in an afghan that my mom made my grandmother years and years ago because he was pissed she wouldn't get up (at 6 am!) and fix the tv so he could watch Toon Disney. So needless to say it was a rough day.

I ended up sulking on the couch catching up on Angela's Eyes on the DVR. Now we are getting ready to get showers and go out to dinner. We have a coupon for free home made cookies at Max and Erma's because they screwed up take out order a couple of weeks ago (they forgot to put my salad dressing in the bag and I had to go up and get it because i don't have any dressing that I like for plain salads ...only have ceasar dressing in the house... and when I got back up there to pick it up they said they had chased me but I got away and to make up for it they gave me two coupons for free cookies..a six dollar value each...and a $10 gift card for our next meal purchase! I see drinks in my future :teeth:

We had fun at scrapping last night...hit the bar for happy hour drinks and apps and then went scrapping...but the drinks made me sleepy so we headed to starbucks and got some giant coffee drinks and then I was ready to go!! hehehehe I think we might all go to a movie next weekend....Little Miss Sunshine...if I can get mom to keep Ethan next weekend for a bit so I can go out.

ketchup...boy I'm glad its quiet aroudn here..makes things easier for me!

Elaine...have fun in the kitchen. Glad you got errands done!

Kimmar...sorry bout the pay check! I turned my paperwork in for my master's pay in June and was getting it by September. That really sucks!!

Bethie...sorry dave is goign to be gone again. That's not very nice of his work to keep sending him away! Glad they gave you a whole weekend off before you go to WDW!!

Sherry...where'd you end up for lunch today??

Paula....glad the meeting went well. glad you like chris' pictures!!

Okay, gotta check the work email and then I'm gonna hit the showers. Back later gang!
tara

Howdy, all!

Greetings from sunny California! We're about to head out to DtD for some last minute shopping. Today's excursion was Newport Beach and we stopped at See's on the way back to the hotel. Yummy, it'll tide us over until I start ordering the stuff for Christmas!

Way too much to ketchup on, but we've had a nice week. Looking forward to getting home (but not doing the 4 bags of laundry!)

I may yack later-I bought the internet access for another night.

Priceline is awesome. We're at the Hyatt 4 blocks from DL-first 4 nights for 80 buck bid, tonight for a 70 dollar bid!

Later, taters. Call my cell if you want anything! :teeth:
