...didja see the 'clip' of it??? It looks good....

It doesn't matter if she saw the clip or not...she's gonna get it either way :)

I am glad Luis' work has such a great program.

Feliz Cumpleaños, Luis!!

Orli was sooo cute on Ellen. :faint:

Paula, picking raspberries sounds like fun.

Amanda, ick on the shots. Sounds like a good plan at your work.

Glad ya survived the needles, Elaine. :teeth:

Hi Alan!

***deep breath***

elaine...yucky needles! good blood pressure! great exercise! glad you like cleaning, Happy Birthday Luis, Orli who??, Orli who is breaking up with skinny chick?

Sherry...sorry for the cold, boohiss on the internet, sorry about the phone call..those suck, sorry you are still feeling bad!

alan....are you the one who stole my Fifth??? I needed it at 7:30 this AM!! :rotfl: great pictures,

Paula...sorry Chris is giving you a hard time, let hubby know that while he's out hunting moose you'll be hunting cows: shoes, handbags, and belts. Glad Chris is promising to get a job, glad Alyssa's dorm stuff is working out. I remember the roommate days :faint:

Kimmar...how you home in time to watch Ellen???

Beth....that bell choir sounded good! I can listen to bells for a bit but i get bored easily so if htey are exciting I'm more apt to listen longer!! At AC Moore I bought a cheap album for my students this year (i'm going to do one for my class this year..which reminds me I need my camera for tomorrow's lab activity), I also bought school stickers to do my school ones and to start working on jarrod's album. I stocked up on xyron refills too!

Amanda...That's great that you have kids who look at things like that in prices...mine says "use the plastic money" at least its my check card! Good luck with the last 10 pounds....I've gained 15 since may so I'm working to get that off and then get the next 20 off!

Me:
I didn't make it on the 'puter last night 'cuz I had a terrible headache and went to bed as soon as the children did. I think it was the weather that set it off. I still love my classes...they are very stressful but they are basically good kids this year and they are really working out well. My assistant on the other hand....oy vey! The man leaves a lot to be desired!!If I give him multi step directions to do something he can't get it done right (ex...please make 25 copies, front and back of these two pages on the Riso machine. Do you know how to make front and back copies on the Riso? *he nods yes* great then. Thanks!....I find him later using the regular copy machine burning it up! Ack! Not sure I will be able to let him do anything!)

I've thought of several things during the days that i think "I need to post that" but by the time I get here its gone!

So I'll leave now and get some sleep. I hope to be around tomorrow evening!!
hugs to all!
tara

Morning!

Quiet night last night.

Hi Tara! Glad to hear you like your classes. Sorry about the headache. I've been going to bed when the kids do, too. I sleep so much better. :teeth:

Gotta go to the dr. today. :faint: I HATE doctors. But, he won't give me any more refills on my Nexium unless I come in. :rolleyes1

Morning all! I came in last night to do some PMs and by the time I finished them I was fed up with the DIS. It was just moving super slow!

Luis had a good birthday though. We have ice cream cake and other ice cream left over for anyone who wants it ;)

That part I missed! I'll have to look for the trailer somewhere.

Bad thing is, Alan hush it, I can't find that the movie will be playing anywhere near me! I do hope that it will at least be released to DVD as they did with Ned Kelly

Sherry, yuck on the doc. I hate them too! I hope all goes well though :)

Tara, sorry for the bad headache there. I know I've had issues this week. Our news said the weather is just not helping! Yuck on the assistant... is he also scared that you will laugh at him for not knowing how to do something? (in short, I have no clue what that machine is that you said)
You are right on one thing though... I did hear that Orli broke up with ubber skinny chick :teeth:

Anywho, not sure what I am doing today. Walking that fast worked a muscle that I am not used to working so I didn't sleep well (muscle on my hip) A nap might be in order for me ::yes::

...that's too bad...it looks like a good movie....his face [by his left eye area] is all 'scarred'....

Even all "scarred" he still looked hot!! :teeth:

I have heartburn. Ack! I have to wait until 11:45 to go to the dr. too and then wait for the prescription. This sucks!! :furious:

Elaine, hope you get a nap in.

Oh, is this the movie where he plays the boyfriend of a girl in the Cayman islands? If so, I saw a clip on The Tonight Show a few weeks ago.

He was teasing about this being a more low-budget film, that the cast crew had to work as hard as people on an Indie project which is a much more taxing schedule than most Hollywood films.

Tara, I'm going to get serious for a second and say that I admire your ability and patience to work with the kids that you do, and I appreciate the work that you do.

Now having said that, I hope we do not find a lot of copies of the assistant's face plastered against the glass of a copier as if he were being held down by some "unknown" person.

And :rotfl: at the plastic money!

I hope everyone is having a great morning!

Just a quick hello....

Have a meeting at 1pm today at work....hope it goes well - after my staff meeting we (me and my assistant) are meeting with the COO to review our roles and set goals for the staff.

Ugh - would you believe I got a summons for Jury Duty?? Again.....trying to get out of it due to work (I'm the only one tht works from 7-8am) - fingers crossed.

** If you have time for a quick prayer or good thought please keep my godson in mind- he turns 16 next month and has beginning stages of Alopecia (sp?) - they have just put him on Prednisone (sp>?)

Elaine - sorry that the work out caused an achey muscle - nap sounds good to me - Glad Luis' birthday celebration went well - don't send me any ice cream - Chris will just eat it all - hahaha.

Tara... .... too funny about the plastic money - hope today is a better day for you. Better add Director of Copier Training to your job description.

HI Alan - hope all is well with you and yours!!

Sherry - eww on the heart burn - first and only time I evver experienced that was while pregnant - thought I was dying.....hope you get relief soon.

Kimmar - thanks for the Ellen report - sorry I missed "you know who".

Shopping was fun yesterday - didn't find what I wanted at Staples so I came home and ordered direct from the Franklin Covey site.
I did however score well at Old Navy - they have nice fleece blankets/thows 2/$15 - bought 1 for Alyssa's dorm room and will give the other to my friend Judy's daughter for her birthday. Also got PJ's for me and 2 pairs of flip-flops for Alyssa - if you can believe there are colors she does not have...hahaha.

Not sure if I
ll have time to post later - meetings - errands - have an appt to pick out Christophers yearbook pictures at 6pm.

Hope everyone has a good day....

Morning, all! Yet another gray day, here. Makes it hard to get motivated to do much of anything. But I have a number of ideas buzzing around in my head, so I want to get to work early and see if I can get something made. Then again, maybe it's just tintinnitis.......

Paula, so sorry to hear about your godson! Adding him to the prayer list, for sure. Good score at Old Navy!! I'm finding more and more that it's just easier to order online for many things when I'm looking for something specific. Whoo-hoo on finding the planner, just when you needed it!! Hope all gets worked out quickly with Alyssa and the roomie situation. So glad to hear she is happy with the school. and Chris!! I guess he DID hear some of what you had to say last week about his $$!! WTG, mom!!!

Aww, Elaine, sorry about the sore hip. Glad you got a good workout in, though. I'm trying to cut back, as usual, so I think I'll pass on the leftover ice cream, too. But, I have a clean bowl and spoon ready, just in case the will power fails. ;) Nice benefit Luis' employer offers, to keep ya healthy! Never could understand why so many insurance plans didn't cover physicals and "well-baby checkups". Seems to me it would be cheaper to keep folks healthy than to cover illnesses and/or hospitalizations.

Dang, wish I'd been able to catch some of that show, kimmar! That Orli fella sure is a nice piece to rest these eyes upon :thumbsup2 And WOW, what a nice "commute" you have!

Tara, I'd be lost on the Riso machine, too, but I could definitely handle the front/back copies on the regular copier. Good luck with the assistant, that can't make your job any easier, I'm sure. Glad to hear you have a good class this year!

Hope you've been able to get in to see the doc by now, Sherry. Spent most of my pregancy with my DD with heartburn--NASTY!! Feel better soon, girlfriend!

Well, it's afternoon, now  Guess I'd best get moving so I have time to try out some of my ideas at work. Have a wonderful day, everyone! :grouphug:

But would you know your way around Risa?
Oh and this is the guy who called me a geek elsewhere earlier this week because I owned multiple copies (5 total) of the original Star Wars Trilogy? Yeah.... okay!

I did find the trailer on the official site for Haven and saw it. I am gonna love it when I see it. I love the music they had there. Too bad no where I will be is showing it. They said Cleveland but I couldn't find a theater. I guess it will be another Ned Kelly for me.
Still waiting on Calcium Kid too

Sherry, how did it go with the doctor? Sorry you had heartburn that bad!

I didn't get a nap in, but I sure did have a lazy day!

Wow, Alan knows about an Orlando Bloom movie? :faint: hmm... :scratchin

Good luck trying to get out of jury duty, Paula! That isn't something I would be crazy about doing myself. Woo hoo for the great finds shopping too!

Bethie, with the way we go through ice cream it might be gone before the willpower of yours fails you ;) And I totally agree! I think it is much more cost effective to watch over us yearly and do the pre-emptive screenings. Apparently they think so too since we get a discount on insurance for participating.

We have choir practice tonight and lots of food left over here so a lazy evening before and after practice :)

Don't forget, I've have been playing cards with him and Tony while you keep him locked up in the closet so he doesn't run off with the too-skinny tramps.

When, oh when will he get out of the closet?

Um Alan... I didn't realize you actually were in the closet with him too

I always suspected, but wasn't sure of it :p

:duck:

Actually, it is Tony who is painting his toenails. I sleep with one eye open.
