Well.... Suzanne, ya know: "If the car's a rockin', don't come a knockin' "

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

:woohoo: Go Bucks!! Awesome game.
Party was great. Cars theme and the cake was so cute.

Suzanne, have a great trip!!

Beth, sure, I could use some of those Puffs, thanks. :)

Okay, technically it is the morning

As Sherry said, great game! I am sooooo relieved! I was so nervous the whole game!

Paula, sounds like you had an awesome day! We were in the back of the restaurant... maybe that is why we didn't see you ;)

Suzanne, have a great trip!!! I cannot wait to hear alla bout it when you return! Sorry I missed you on IM though, I just got home.

Pam :rotfl:

I have church in the morning so I better go :wave2:

We had a LOT of fun talking about it yesterday, saying that the guy must really lurve his girl to get her a comfy bed! There are plenty of places to go for more privacy-a well lit parking lot next to a busy road is not exactly a place to get it on and NOT be noticed! :rotfl:

Can someone explain to me why the child who is an OGRE when I wake him for school gets up earlier than that on his own on the weekends?

The hotel in San Diego doesn't have WiFi, so you won't hear from me until Tuesday night. If anyone wants something from DL, PM me. If you've got my cell number, you can call-just remember it's 2 or 3 hours earlier than where you are!!! :rotfl:

Suzanne

Morning all... very sleepy here, but still happy ;)

Suzanne, I hope you have a wonderful trip!!!! I also am still laughing at the people rockin' away in the car! We used to have parks by the river for that sort of thing :rotfl:

We're off to church and then lunch today. Probably after that we'll come home and relax (watch football or something).

hi gang,

I'm posting from the lunacy asylum....one kid broke a light bulb and then tried extract the broken part of the bulb from the thing himself and lucky for him didn't kill himself, then after being put in time out in his room came out to gloat to me that it wasn't time out cuz he had toys in his room....oops wrong thing to say to mommy this morning....he has no toys left in his room now!! :rotfl: it is a true time out! Then there's the 2 year old who, when he can't get his way, resorts to biting people and is now in the play pen screaming "I nice now! I nice now!" :rotfl: I'm not buying it just yet!

Suzanne have a great trip! I can't think of anything I need from DL so have fun!!!

Elaine...have fun at church today and lunch!!

Sherry...not sure who the bucks are but I'll cheer for them :cheer2: :woohoo: glad party was good too!!

Pam :lmao:

oh and maybe the girl was "on call" so she asked to not go too far!!! :rotfl2:

off to write a nasty letter to Chase credit cards and then gonna go get mexican and finish the shopping from yesterday! Have a great day all!!

tara

Wow, quiet day here...

Suzanne, I forgot to tell you that while we need to remember the 3 hour time difference, you could get us with it as well. Call and say "Oh it's midnight there? Wow, it's only 9 here" :p

Tara, sounds like you have had a really busy time lately! I am laughing at your youngest there. I wouldn't buy it either ;) The lightbulb thing would scare me though... that can be very dangeous!

Tired today of course. Managed to nap when I didn't expect it.

Off to work on WDW stuff... catch y'all later!

Hey gang,

Very quiet day in yaya land!

Went and ran errands. Ate at the mexican place. Went to AC Moore for midnight madness shopping and now the kids are bathed and in bed. I'm ready to settle down and get some school work done.

Hope everyone had a great day!!

hugs,
tara

Evening, folks!! Long day and I had to finish up that bookkeeping tonight so I can deliver it in the AM. Gotta say, the concert last night was superb!!! You ain't heard nuthin' till you've heard "Stairway to Heaven" on handbells though! OMG, it was sooooo hysterical--purple lava lamp, strobe lights, tie-dyed t-shirts and everybody wore either a florescent wig or one of those hats with the attached dreads!! These people were so good, they even goofed off WHILE they were playing--moving music, pretending to hit each other with the bells, switching positions and playing somebody else's bells, or flipping bells in the air!! Yet they never missed a beat or a note, that I could tell. It was awesome, to say the least. For one of the encores (they did 3!), they played "Flight of the Bumblebee" wearing yellow and black striped gloves!! The director even had a special baton that had been painted yellow & black!! To top it all off, one of the guys had snuck out at the beginning and about 1/2 way thru the piece, came prancing out dressed in tights and a yellow & black striped leotard with wings!!! I almost fell off my chair, he was soo funny!

Hey, Tara! I nice now, too! Yeesh!! Thank goodness Jar didn't electrocute himself with that broken light! Then again, wonder if maybe a little "shock therapy" would be helpful? Glad you have some quiet time to yourself now.

Have a wonderful vacation, Suzanne!! The "rockin' car" story--OMG!!! What were they thinking??!!! :confused3

Thought about both of you last night, Sherry and Elaine! When Dave told me OSU beat the heck out of Texas, I knew you'd both be smilin'!!

Tired puppy here and I've still got laundry to do. So I guess I'd best haul my sorry butt outta this chair and away from the computer. Have a great night, ya'll! :grouphug:

Hi, Honeys! We made it fine-I've got internet, too.

Dollar made Ed very happy-we reserved a Dodge Magnum, but on the lot was Pacificas or Chargers. We went for the charger. It rides so fine! :)

Bethie, that concert sounds like a blast. Who knew that ding a linging could be so ... SILLY?!

Nitey night!

Suzanne

Morning!

Had a relaxing Sunday. Never really made it on the computer much, though.

Tara, how scary about the lightbulb, but :lmao: at the "I nice now!"

Beth, sounds like alot of fun while ding a linging. :teeth:

Suzanne, glad to hear ya made it safe. And :yay: for internet. I had a Charger years ago....they sure have changed alot. :teeth:

Elaine, hope you had a nice Sunday. I'm sad the Browns lost. :(

Well, time to get the troops moving and my nephew should be here soon. I have him everyday this week.

Morning all! I have lots of little things to do before Luis' birthday on weds, so I'll be in and out :)

Call me silly, Tara, but what is midnight maddness shopping at AC Moore about? We don't even have one of those here

Bethie, that concert sounds awesome!!!! I would have loved to have seen that one! You are right, I was smiling big after the OSU win! I was nervous the whole time!

Glad to hear you made it safely to CA, Suzanne. My cousin has a Dodge Charger and loves it. Be sure to get lots of pics to share with us for when you get back!

Sherry, good luck with your nephew this week. I admit I didn't even watch most of the Browns game. I do like them, but am much more of a college football watcher than I am the pro sports. Somehow with all the stupid Reggie Bush talk with the Saints, I didn't figure the Browns to win anyway

I hope everyone has a great day!

Nice reminder pic, Kimmar. :(

Well, after Julian doing pretty good with the whole school thing, I got a call this morning from him begging me to come and get him. :( I feel soooo horrible telling him no. :( :(

Just thought I would stop in to say "Hello!" Long time no see.

Things have been busy...new boss, car hit but uninsured driver, girls starting school, first speeding ticket (off course couldn't be in my own state so I could go to school to remove the points ), computer not working well and allergies. I think life is finally going on the upswing this week.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning y'all!

Tara  I'm sorry that it's been so stressful with Jarrod, but you had me :rotfl: at your friends picture comment during happy hour.

Now that you have confessed your childhood habits, do you still find yourself waking up in strange places? ;)

I'll just steal Beth's ketchup post from Saturday since it was such a good one. :teeth:
BTW Beth, Rebecca and I generally watch a bit of TV or movie each night to wind down before bed and are once again going through the ST movies. I'm cringing because we finished The Voyage Home and that means we have to start 5 next. Blech

I'm glad you enjoyed a spur of the moment girls' day Paula.

Lainey, sorry the family isn't working as well with you, but they all know you are the only one they can trust to plan anything. ;)

Did the boaters get angry when y'all were in the way of the ramp?
Or was it another kind of park where you got sick on the merry-go-round?

That's like saying "That didn't hurt" after a spanking :teeth:

is now in the play pen screaming "I nice now! I nice now!" :rotfl: I'm not buying it just yet!

Not too far? :confused3 It sounds to me like she went all the way!

Beth, that has got to be the coolest handbell concert ever! What fun.

Are we talking about the concert or the couple in the parking lot? :confused3

Amanda! Thanks for the ketchup. It's good to see you here.
I think I've had 2 accidents since you were here last, so keep trying neener neener.

How is the new school for the girls?

Alan...you can keep the record for accidents;) I wasn't even in the car when it was hit, I was actually a good 25 minutes away at work.
The girls are still at their same school. Cassie is now full day since she started first grade. They are doing well. Although life is awful in "Mandy-land" when school starts. I love summer and when there are days off, but during the school week she comes home in a 'mood'. I think school stresses her. Of course her sister can't do anything right. :rolleyes1 How are your girls? How much do the argue?

I am pleasantly surprised with how well the girls get along, but naturally they have their moments. :)

I expect things to be worse down the road, but I'm in it for the duration after all.

I can't believe that I forgot to say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIMMAR

Here is a cake since you are always posting pics

I almost guarantee that somehow Lainey would still manage to take a good picture with it. :teeth:

I hope you enjoy your gift. It's fun for the whole family

Sherry

Alan, cute cake there! And that was sweet of you to day :love2:

Howdy Kimmar & Amanda!

So glad you did stop in too, we've missed you Amanda :)

Hope Suzanne is having a blast! Catch y'all later!
