Anyone want 2 gallons of lime green paint?

Suzanne
:lmao: I've got a quart of bright green paint I'll send you to go with your lime green!!! :lmao:

Morning!

Got to sleep in this morning. :yay:

BIL, SIL & nephew stopped by around midnight last night. They just got back from FL and we wanted to see nephew ASAP! :teeth: They are coming over today to hang out and we're gonna do hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill.

So sad about Steve Irwin. :( I feel so bad for his wife and young kids. :(

Tara, enjoy the zoo.

Suzanne, love the centerpiece. I agree on the lime green.

Beth, glad you got to sleep in again. :woohoo:

Hi Teresa! Welcome!

Kimmar, cute cheeto dog. :teeth:

Lily, sounds like you had a nice day yesterday. Hope today is just as nice. :)

Such a DEAL!!! Could paint the whole room AND the trim!!

Today's color update:
On the left, 1 quart of lime green mixed into a new gallon of pastel base. On the right, the mixture I've got 1 3/4 gallons of! Anyone want it? It's good Behr paint! :rotfl:

PS This is the last time I let one of the boys pick a color! We ended up with another color for Kevin's room because he'd decided he didn't like the pea green that this was originally.

Hi Honey's I'm home!

I'll tell more about the trip later! Just got in and happy to see the cats that's for sure :)

Good evening gang!!

Hey Tina!!

Welcome back elaine!! We were good little yaya's this weekend!! ::yes::

Back from the zoo. Had a great time. It was just the 4 of us b/c it looked like rain so Chris et. al. stayed home! Party poopers! We got hit with three little rain drops just outside the gate (could have been birds for all we know) but by the time we got in the sun was out and it was beautiful day!!

Got Jarrod all packed for school tomorrow. I think I'm as ready as I'm gonna be so I'm going to fill out all of Jarrods paperwork now so I don't have to do it tomorrow night and then I'm calling it a night. i won't be back until tomorrow night....so please don't forget me while I'm gone!!

Now THOSE are Ooompa-Loompas!!

 Tina!!

Glad you had such good weather for the zoo, Tara. Good luck to Jarrod, tomorrow!

"Baby Ya Ya" made it home, (safely, I presume) and hopefully did NOT just leave the sunshine in NJ! Can't wait to hear about your trip, Laine!

Suzanne, the lighter green isn't all that bad, but what color did Kevin end up with?

Calling it a night here, too. Went out for a little bit this afternoon, but parking lots and stores too crowded. Managed to pick up some new shirts for Dave and that's about it. So he watched TV and played with his laptop while I did some scrapping. We had an abbreviated bells rehearsal tonight, cuz about 1/2 the group was out of town. Dave's working the early shift tomorrow, so he's already asleep--I don't go in till 2. So I guess I'll "see" ya'll later, taters! :grouphug:

Morning, all.

The clolor looks very nice, now that it's done. I'll be putting the room together over the next few days and have a new photo essay. :rotfl:

Bethie, Kevin loves green. He picked out a Tiki comforter last year and we color matched to the green in the Tiki comforter. That's the original color. Then we went to Mouse Surplus back in December and bought the armoires, nightstand, a mirror, a painting and a comforter that had been at the Poly. The color his room ended up is a medium green.

As it is with Murphy, after we painted the room and hung the mirror and watercolor, the Armoires would not fit through the angled bedroom door. Currently, Neil is in a beautiful green room-but wants red. Kevin is in an unpainted room, but wants green. We bought another gallon of the green that is currently in Neil's room.

I did my office first so I can get that stuff organized and out of sight! Then, I'll paint Kevin's (new) room and repaint Neil's room. Lots of Sunday projects-or honeydos for Ed on days he's off.

Hi, Tina!

Tara, have a good day at school. Play nice with the other kids!

Kimmar, you are sooooooo bad! :rolleyes1

Welcome back, Lainey!

Suzanne

Not to totally blow any of you off, but right now I have some stupid computer troubles.

We think it is related to the installation of the software for the printer, but we'll see

I'll be back, at least on my laptop, later :)

Morning!

Had a nice, relaxed day yesterday. Hated getting up this morning.

Welcome home, Elaine.

Hi Tina!

Suzanne, lots of projects for you. Looking forward to seeing pics. :)

Good morning y'all!

Suzanne thanks for the pics; you had me rolling with the painting/wine rack story.

We enjoyed our Labor Day and had a relaxing day.
A friend is getting some new dining room furniture and asked if we would be interested in her old one.

Rebecca immediately said yes because the table will sit many more than ours will and she is thinking of those instances when we have relatives over. Naturally, I liked our existing set much better  but I grabbed a friend and a trailer and moved our stuff to my MILs. (She did not have an existing set) Then we brought the new (to us) stuff over.

That was most of Sunday afternoon. :) But at least I wasn't painting!

So glad that y'all had relaxing weekends. I spent all day Sunday and Monday working on the Yankee Peddler website. I've been trying to gather up all the information about craft and food booths and it has been a daunting task this year. We did take time out to drive down to Clay's Park and see the place before all the booths are setup. Very surreal. And we stopped by my MIL's house and had dinner with her at the Dalton Dairiette. Pizzaburger and curly fries. Yum.

And I did manage to have a lot of fun at the Indianapolis DISmeet on Saturday. Thanks to an OSU game, I did run into a bit of traffic driving through Columbus.

A bit of traffic, TC? I suspect it gets pretty gridlocked, but I am glad you were able to attend the meet.

I'm sure the YPs appreciate the work you do for the site. Did you research samples for each food booth? After all, you don't want to mention "Ye Olde fried Twinkies" if they aren't up to your standards!

I'm looking forward to Ye Olde Carbonated Beverages this year. And Ye Olde Wine Tasting (Saturdays only). And if you travel just outside the festival gates, you can have Ye Olde Beer.

To answer your question. Yes, I have personally tried every food item at YPF in the past and I intend to keep my streak alive.

Just ask the folks at the Indy DISmeet how much food Ye Olde Towncrier managed to put away.

I've not looked, but has anyone posted a meet report with pics?
