Hi there Ya Yas!

Suzanne, glad you got your baby back and repaired. Wow! 15 reparis. Hope it's all better now. Mmmm cookies! Mmmmm free cookies!

Alan, glad you got your van back. I know it's good to have your things in order. Great pics of the vaca. Looks like a lot of fun was going on. Oh and the puddy tat and puppy pic is adorable.

Tina, sorry about that spider thing. Oooohhweee not me to help with that one either. I'd have to relocate!

Elaine, nice pic of Bo too. Sorry the server busy stuff is getting to ya. It is to me too, but I just keep at it. :badpc:

Hey Todd, :wave2:

Tara, hope Jack has left the building. How rude.

That's it break over... bye now.

afternoon gang,

cute cat Alan!

Not in much of a posting mood. Jarrod's had a rough day and it translates to making me grumpy!!

So howdy do to everyone!!!

tara

Hi y'all! I'm still having trouble posting. So sorry about not being around.

Cookies? I want cookies!!! What kind do you have Suzanne? I do hope the ribbon cutting goes well.
As for concerts, I only have one more. Third Day will be playing here in Columbus on September 29th. And crap, I need to see when Marc will be in town... eek, I knew full well I had something going on that weekend. I hope I can go with him

Compared to my kitties, he's orange. I guess I would still call him that... at minimum strawberry blonde :p I think you need to take a pic of the two of them together.

Lily, I guess I will have to keep on keeping at it with the DIS. Tomorrow I will almost be required to do so. I just hope it behaves more and I remember to copy any time I try to post :rolleyes1

Tara  I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you!

I have an eye doc appt tomorrow. I can tell I am not seeing 100% clearly, so I want to get that all set up before I go to visit my brother.

I'm off for the night. I'll check in when I can :wave2:

And the posting problems continue......hopefully, this one will go thru. We've been having trouble with the cable company dropping the internet connection sporadically, so it's not just the slow DIS.

Been working on a way for me to still make the annual "Christmas" trip. Dave is thinking about the whole week, I'm hoping I can sneak down for 2 or 3 days. We are also looking at the DVC cruise for 2007, since we've never cruised before --may as well make it Disney!!

Ya'll been busy or having trouble with the board, I see. Not much to ketchup on!

Hooray for getting your carbaby back, Suzanne! 15 different parts but no explanation? Good grief! Hope all the chatting you did at the chamber translates into lots of new customers for ya. Have fun with the ribbon cutting! Scissor been sharpened? Can't have dull blades at such an important event!!

Great pics from the vacation, Alan! Looks like it was great fun for all. How are the girls liking the new school? Looking adorable in their uniforms, too.

Sherry, I can't imagine what it must be like to take all your young men shoe shopping all at the same time! Bet that puts one heck of a hole in your wallet!!

Tara, so sorry Jack came back to visit. Feeling better in that department tonight? Sorry Jar had such a rough day. Hope ya'll get a good night's sleep and tomorrow is a better day.

Tina, I don't think I could have been as calm as you seemed to be over that spider.*shudder*I'd be relocating with Lily! Hope it has been dispatched properly and you now have an arachnid-free house. Best of luck to Jessica with her classes this year. Sounds like she has her work cut out for her!

Happy belated birthday, Rose Mary!! Got any new man stories for us?

How goes it, Lily? Sounds like the week is going pretty well since you took over the office! Always kinda nice to be able to work on your own without someone peering over your shoulder or interrupting your train of thought. Hope that workload has been eased somewhat, too.

Time for nighty-night--I'm opening the store in the morning and really ought to get there before everyone else  Rather embarrassing to pull into the parking lot to find somebody waiting for me. Hope everyone has a good rest of their evening and a great day tomorrow. :grouphug:

Good morning everyone! I am having a little better luck getting online at the moment. Of course in a few hours I have to get ready for the eye appt :)

Bethie, sorry about the internet woes :( I do hope, though, you find a way to make it in Dec since you love it so :goodvibes: But at least you have an upcomiing trip to look forward to as well!

It's weird for me... for the first time in a long time, I don't know when I will be going to WDW next

Silly question for any of y'all. Has anyone tried the shampoo bars? Yes, I am really trying to find a way to get around almost everything I need when I fly. So far toothpaste is an issue for me. But I figured if I had a shampoo bar I kind of liked, at least I would have nearly everything I would need when we fly in a couple weeks.

Morning, Lainey! Good luck with the eye doc and thanks for reminding me! It's time for my checkup, too. Never tried any of the shampoo bars, so I can't help you there. Have you considered shipping a box of your stuff to yourself? We did that last year with our humidifier and it worked out perfectly for us. If you don't want to ship, another suggestion for toothpaste is a tooth powder. I think you can get them at drug stores--they activate with water. Or you could always go with good old fashioned baking soda and salt.

Have a great day everyone!! :grouphug:

Oh good idea Bethie!!! I so did NOT think of that! I would ship to my brother's but I admit, his mail is terrible and since he is on a cruise right now, I am not sure that is a wise idea... don't think it would get there in time. It takes 9-14 days for something to get there on average when you ship.

We are just looking for ways around everything for our trip to NJ. WDW, is too far away for me to even care about at the moment.

I will have to look around though for the toothpaste powder. I didn't realize that existed.

If I can find that, I will be set for this trip (save lotions, but I can survive 3 days wo it)

A shampoo bar? I'm picturing all these male bottles tossing out cheesy lines to the female bottles.

The dandruff shampoo would be all alone because he is too controlling.

Some bottles would be trying to hook up with the gentle shampoo so they would have "no more tears" in their relationships.

Some would be looking for a date that is more clarifying, while others are just looking for someone who can be conditioned.

Hmm..instead of "your place or mine" would they just say they are looking for some head? :rolleyes1

In any event, toothpaste is considered a liquid?? This is just silly!

Good morning Y'all Y'alls!

Good morning Y'all Y'alls!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: just what I needed this morning!!

Hi gang!!

back later!!
tara

Hi Ya Yas!

Alan, :lmao: Thank you so much. I needed that.

Tara, hope your day is much better today.

Elaine, never tried shampoo bars. I take it you are not checking luggage for the short trip? I wish the hair salons would sell trial size bottles of the stuff I use for the after-landing and waiting for luggage sales kiosks that they need to put up. That would solve it for me.

Beth, hope you can get it figured out to be there in Dec. That would be Fantasmic! er fantastic! Early shift today? Hope you get to enjoy your evening then.

Ted and I went for a bicycle ride last night. We traveled 14 miles and enjoyed that very much. He only got
3 calls (hmpff) from work while we tried to get away. Today is not going the best, someone always throws a wrench to things when the boss is away. I'm coping. It's really not bad at the moment. The good news is I get to leave the building for the later part of the day grab late lunch and do business errand. It is sunny out so I am good with that part.

How's everyone else doing? Hope you are enjoying good weaher and I'm thinking of ya Ya Yas.

How cool! I can finally see again! I always forget how bad the dialating eyes can be on me. Did get grass cut and trimmed up so life is good.

I just feel bad, Luis had chicken for supper last night, and again for lunch... he'll have it since that is what I set out for tongiht... though I wonder if I could find something a bit different to do.

Alan, you're a goof!!!

Lily, nope not checking. My brother sweetly requested we not do it. Philly is a nightmare and honestly since it is under construction I don't blame him for asking us. We'll just find ways around it and see what can be brought on with the flight.

I will be double checking about my eye stuff. I have a lot more that I will be using on my eyes now. I have an eye drop that he told me to try, some new allergy drops for the eyes and then will need a night ointment. I didn't really complain about the dry eyes, he just saw how they were and was trying to get everything better for me. Maybe if he can do that, my allergies will improve too.
But the good news is my eyes have gotten better yet again! No wonder I felt like I couldn't see

Lily, I know you have 200 and some days left of work, how about Ted? ;)

I should get a few things done now. Catch y'all later!

How do I get hold of this amazing miracle food????

First time on the computer since yesterday morning. Shoes are bought, along with backpacks! :yay:
Got my nails done this morning and dropped BIL and nephew off at the airport. Getting dinner started now. Whew!

Guess what I woke up to this morning? TP & shaving cream all over the yard and driveway. :furious: :rolleyes1 What a PITA that was. The shaving cream left stains on the drive, and of course, they wrote some pretty stupid/vulgar things. :furious: Left a balloon for us, too, that said ITS A GIRL. While cleaning it up, Jordan got stung in the head by a wasp :( and we then found the HUGE wasp nest, so had to run to the store to buy one of those Raid fogger thingies to kill them. UGH!

Alan, cute kitty. :) And cute pic of the girls. :lmao at your shampoo story! Yay for getting your van back.

Suzanne, no asking about driving yet. He's too preoccupied with squeezing as much video game and computer game playing in before school starts. :rolleyes1 :teeth:
Glad you got your bug back.

Elaine, the boys go back to school next Thursday. Glad to hear your eyes have improved. That's always nice to hear. ::yes::

Gotta go check on dinner!!

Forgot to share my good gas deal from yesterday. Filled up my van and 2 gas cans for $2.50!!! :yay: :woohoo:

Alan, I so hate you... I really want a deep fried twinkie again! Though I should try a milkyway ;)

Just go to a fair and get one... or find a recipe for funnel cakes and dip your own twinkie and fry it

trust me, having it on the stick doesn't help. It's so gooey and messy that the stick really doesn't do much as it mostly melts off of it :p

Woo hoo for getting everything done Sherry! But boo hiss on the TPing and the shaving cream. Teenagers can be a blast, eh? I hope that Jordan is feeling better now too!

Wow on the price! I went up to Sandusky on Monday and it cost me $30 to fill up my little Civic  :faint: It's unbelievable now

I'm off to bed. Luis is tired and wanting to go to sleep. I suppose I'll play solitare for a while before sleeping myself :wave2:

evening gang,

too tired to do a ketchup! So I'll wave at everyone and hope everyone is having a good evening. Jack left the next day and hasn't returned!! Thanks for helping to get rid of him!!

I'm scrapping all day tomorrow so I'll be absent. I'll check in tomorrow night!!

hugs to all!
tara

Evening, all.

Ribbon cutting went very well-huge turnout, more than I expected! :) Glad I'm not timid about speaking to groups, this was fun!

Alan, that twinkie looked good-I've never tried one. Keep saying that when the fair season starts down here, we're going for the deep fried snickers bars.

Lily, hang in there, weeks almost over.

Bethie, I think I can top your computer stuff. I paid my Verizon bill online on August 3rd. Got a confirmation email and everything. Ed goes to newsgroups tonight and can't. Checks the phone line-it's dead. Apparently, even though we told them to take the money out, they didn't! You can tell we use the landline a lot, cant you?

Sherry, good deal on the gas!!!! We're hovering around 2.90 here. Bravo-no begging for driving lessons yet!

Lainey, remember, call me for anything for the WDW trip so you don't have to worry about shipping, lol!

I'm a slug. I was supposed to get some paperwork together tonight and didn't. Oh well, I'll do it mid day tomorrow when I get a little time to dash home. Easier then, too.

Suzanne

Page 3!

Morning all!!

Today is Freshman Orientation for Jordan. Then we have to run around picking up last minute things for Jonathan's party tomorrow.

Suzanne, glad the ribbon cutting went well.

Good morning all! Quick little hi before I do some yard work

Tara, glad that Jack went away! Have fun scrapping! Been missing you around here lately.

Paula's another one I see MIA :(

Suzanne, I admit I like the twinkies a bit more than the snickers. Something about the way it is warm just appeals to me more. Not totally sure why. I guess it's because I prefer my Snickers frozen!
Oh and thanks for that offer with WDW. My aunt is checking bags so we'll all check bags or just toss it in her case. At least that is the plan for now... and we'll see what they are doing by then.

However, are you planning on coming for a visit in Oct while a few of us are there?

Sherry, good luck at orientation! I hope all goes well for Jordan! Can't believe the two of them are in HS now!
