As for getting the work done...mom did help, not as much as she wanted to but she did help.

I finally heard from my AP that I can go into the school and work tomorrow. So I've told Jarrod that he will begin the fun of each year going to the school to help me get my room set up!! Not sure how excited he is!!

been playing Monopoly and War with Jarrod while Ethan slept. Jar doesn't quite get Monopoly (it was his choice, I tried to talk him out of it but he wouldn't budge) but at least he was practicing his adding with the dice!

My van is in the body shop and I'm in my first Toyota this week. The girls had fevers this weekend so we skipped church and a church-wide pool fellowship last night.

Hi y'all! Busy day around here. I know I sort of ignored y'all, but I got a bunch done at home. Including the grass... man it was humid today!!!

But at least it is done!

I have decided that I am ignoring Alan now...

Paula, I do hope Alyssa will be feeling better soon! I am glad that Christopher is squared away with insurance though. I have noticed that those who are the highest up know the least about how to do the little stuff

LOL, Lily, I have noitced that my kittes (both of them) will sleep on the smaller pillow during the day. Last night I only had one kitty with me and the ohter was on the pillow behind me. At least now I have a king sized pillow to share with my babies. Slept much better

Suzanne any news on when you will be getting your bug back?

Tara, I don't like you any more either. If you werne't nice to me most of the time I'd ignore you too (like I am my own pathetic cabana boy)

I'm still up because I am fighting with my iPhoto. It is being a pain in the butt...guess that's what I get for making fun of Elaine!! heheheh

I'm burning back up discs of all my pictures and then tomorrow I'm going to go to the safety deposit box and stick them in. that way if the 'puter ever fries I have back ups of all my pictures on the computer. We've done the same thing with the traditional negatives too...in case of fire or water damage!

I'm gonna be gone most of tomorrow so I'll see you all in the evening!!

Good luck with all the computer stuff today. Smart move of you to put it all to disc and then in a safty deposit box. If I really wanted to, I would put them on my brother's server so it would be a triple back up for me. Though I do try to put a lot to CD/DVD and then put it also on my server here as well.

Sherry, I forgot to say I am glad you liked Talladega Night! I admit I am not the biggest Will Ferrel fan, but that one looks hilareous!!!!

Oh and yeah, which one is our little Thindy?

I'm back to working around the house. I wanted to run some errands today but most places won't open until 10 am. Somehow that still annoys me to death.

Morning all...

The doctor saw Alyssa yesterday and verified tht it definitely was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic.....said to just stop taking it (she hasn't since Saturday night) and that it should clear up by he end of the week. We went to lunch at Panera then came home and watched "Eight Below" - nice lazy day!! She's back at work today.

I have 2 tasks today -
1. figure out the college bill for semester #1 and get her loan app's going.
2. go online and pick out a new kitchen faucet (I should probably get Tara's advice on that one).

nope you don't want to do that!! Last time we looked at faucets the one I liked was the one that cost and arm and both legs! So we went with somethiing MUCH cheaper!! heheheheh

Lily...I'm only backing them up because I thought I deleted some and was trying to restore them. Turned out I hadn't deleted them, they just were not showing up on the main index but when I would hit edit they would show up. So I wnted to make sure I didn't "accidently" delete them!

Kimmar...thank you for clarifying that your relations weren't the "goofy" looking one in the picture!

Okay, gotta get moving but mom is asleep so I may have to wake her in a bit so i can get my work done!! The boys have been very quiet for about 15 minutes so obviously something is wrong!!

I forgot to mention that Abigail had a follow up appointment with her neurologist yesterday. He was very pleased with her progress.

Since we saw him last, we have modified her diet, started adding Zinc supplements and she has undergone Auditory Integration Therapy which has made a lot of difference.

My back has been bothering me the past few days and I came in late today. I'm seeing the doc tomorrow anyway so I'll mention it to him.

No Kimmar, I think I can safely assure you that even though Lainey said her back was sore, we are not even in the same state so don't go there.

Had one of "those kinds of afternoons" Just opened my mouth when I shouldn't have, and unfortunately it was via text so I have to just wait and see what my friend has to say when they read it Then after that, I managed to break our pepper shaker and step on the shard of glass. I'm oh so good

At least I id get some stuff done this morning. Two of my main errands were out of the way and I was able to walk to them.

Sherry, sorry you had the wrong morning. I hope you were able to nap after getting up early.

Lily, good point there. I actually did get a lot done, but I just wish more stores would open early. Guess with "everyone working" no one thinks there is a soul who would want to go to a store before 10. Oh well...

Paula, did you enjoy 8 below? That is a movie I really ought to see I hope that Alyssa will be feeling much better soon. Good luck with your list.

evening gang,

man am I one tired yaya!!

You thought the stair master was bad. This was how the day went
1. gather stuff from A-25 (my new room)
2. walk stuff down to A-15 (where the lady is moving whose room I am getting)
3. go to A-11 and gather stuff (my old room)
4. take stuff to A-25
5. repeat steps 1-4 50 freaking times

oh my goodness am I worn out!! I even stole (well...okay appropriated for an afternoon) a hand truck and moved the file cabinets out of my new room to take to their new room (A-15) and then go to my old room and get my file cabinets and take them down to my new room.

Then I went with Astrid, who was helping me, to her old room to move stuff to her new room (C-25 to C-14). Oh and I can remember her new room number because C-14 is an explosive and that kinda fits!!

Anyway, then I got a call from one of my MK customers, whose mom is in the hospital in MO and its not looking too good for her , who needed some products because she won't have enough to last her while she is away. Most people wouldn't think about things like that but this girl is a devoted MK gal and never goes without her moisturizer and foundation!! So I went out and delivered that to her tonight. She's flying out tomorrow!

anyway, that was my day and this has taken me 3 hours to type so I'm gonna go snoop around the CB and some other fun places and then go to bed. Bowling with the old ladies tomorrow and then pick Colleen up from the airport (oh and the cabinets are all reinstalled now!! woohoo!!)
