Not many plans for us tonight. Tomorrow we are going to visit my grandma and aunt. Then we are possibly going to watch Picnic with the Pops... they are doing some cool swing style stuff. Sounded fun to me

afternoon all...
better mood here. i've been working on the house all morning. I finished all the pieces of tile that had to be cut (only cut the tiles this morning ), sanded the stair risers (the wooden part), and worked on sanding the banisters some more. Had to stop while E took his nap. So i'm going to get my lunch and then run a couple of errands and then i'll come back and hopefully finishe the sanding so I can put the polyuerthene (messed that word up big time!) on the wood and hopefully a coat of rustolieum on the bannister. Then I will feel like I have accompolished something today.

Oh and Thank you all for the nice floor comments. I think it looks wonderful and I'm really proud of my work!!

Tara, I think the hair is okay. I wore it down and fairly straight last night and it seemed to lay okay. That usually is when I can tell how good/bad it really is.

I'll be washing and wearing tonight though, so I'll get a real good idea. A cruella stripe though? I can't imagine that on you!

I "fixed" my car this a.m. with a coffee-style "air freshener" and one I don't have to hang off the rear view mirror since that is illegal here. I stopped at Starbucks to treat myself to a grande coffee and proceeded to dump the ENTIRE contents on the passenger side floor. So I must shampoo the rug in my car now.

I'm confused. Why do you have to clean the carpet. Don't you like the coffee smell??? I did the same thing recently and, since I have dark carpets in my Saturn, I just sopped up the coffee with a napkin that I found in the back seat and then just left my car in the sun to dry.

Lily - You have much better things to do than shampoo your car's carpets.

It was supposed to be Kristin...but you know how it is when a grandma passes away 2 months before your born!! You inherit the name!! Boy...how my life would be soooo much different if my name was Kristin....(sigh)! which translates to."Everything wrong in my life is a result of my name"!!! LOL!!!

Judie, nice to officially meet you with your name. I usually am more nosey about those kinds of things (ask everyone, that's usually my first question) you just caught me on a week where I was a lot busier on my computer and didn't have much time to play and be nosey

You know John, I was thinking the same thing about Lily's carpet. I was so dang out of it, though that I didn't even think to ask. I like the smell of coffee and as long as there wasn't too much sugar & cream it won't harm a thing

Ah, Sherry I am so envious of you with that! My hair was super curly today. I brushed it out (bad idea) and now it is a volumnous wave. It was nice to see my curl back though, much easier to deal with when you wash and go! Humidity has made it a bit frizzy compared to usual. Turns out nice straight, but I need to put a bit more in my hair in order for it to look good that way

Eh Tara, total success in my book... if you can do one errand, you've done enough!

The highlight of my night was going to Sprint to get my phones straightened out. I now have my old phone number on my new phone and my new number on my old phone... life is good! Kind of nice to have the extra phone. I could probably just keep it in my car at all times, though I plan to give it to my aunt at WDW so she will have a way to keep in touch with us. It will definitely come in handy for things like that!

Oh and I talked to my dear grandmother today... she turned 95 I will be visiting her next Saturday.

Okay anyone want a slightly hyper 6 year old who is ticked off? He is now doing everything he can to really irritate me and I'm trying hard to ignore hime, but its difficult. ugh!

I think I am going to go sand some more at least this way I can't hear him making the noise to bother me!!!
