Tired today... tomorrow morning I will be going to help out my choir director for a few hours. I have a feeling this will be a weekly thing.

Not sure if the fireworks will go off or not... been bad weather all evening.

But we got some in last night so life is good :)

I will ketchup tomorrow... I've been terrible, but I just havne't been home enough. I'll see y'all later tomorrow :)

Bethie,

If you do a session when the Genoa chicken is available, you MUST get it! :thumbsup2 Even Mr.Pickypants gobbled that one up!

Kimmar, I'd share some wine, but since I've got a pretty good table set puzzle going on here, I'm having comfort and ginger ale for a change.

Nitey night! I'll be pretty scarce the next two days.

Suzanne

Beth... please tell Dave that i DO grind...with my dremmel that is!! :lmao: Ah I kill myself!! Oh and I was bad and didn't do any of the floor...mom didn't sleep that last couple of nights for the pain so she slept in this am and then by the time she got up and we chatted and she had breakfast it was time to feed the monkeyboy and put him down for the nap so I continued to stitch!! It shouldn't be too much longer til I finish the dang thing. It should be done by this christmas!! :woohoo:

Suzanne...no drinks for me tonight...I went with chips ahoy in the brown bag...something about chunks!

Kimmar you gonna have to try that picture again so we can see what we are looking at!!

Let's see....the agenda for tomorrow is Bowling with the old folks, lunch, and then home to hopefully get some work done on the floor....but something is making me think now that I'm supposed to do soemthing else tomorrow evening...I honestly can't think of what it might be :confused3 well, i guess if i don't think of it then i will work on the floor!!

Jarrod and Jay are going to Busch Gardens tomorrow. So they came by and picked up Jar's pass. Jay asked if we wanted to go with them, my answer to him?? and I quote " :lmao: " After I finished :lmao: I kindly told him no thank you that I had plans for tomorrow morning!! hehehehe

Okay, I'm gonna see what mayhem was unleashed this evening while I was watching the Count of Monte Cristo on ABCFamily. It was a good movie!!

Just a quick hello and bumping this up from page three.

 Good Morning YaYa Clique friends :teeth:
Still trying to ketch up. Bout to give up but, I CAN'T  Hate the thought of missing out on all the funnies.

But, Just had to comment on this from Tara June 25th (I'm getting closer every day)

and all I realy want to do is crawl into bed and cover my head.
Tara, that was my day yesterday July 4th, 2006.

First off the radiator fan (or whatever the heck it is) in my jeep doesn't run so if I want to go anywhere I have to pop the hood,( which doesn't stay up on it's own cause the hood holder upper thingies don't work) connect the little alligator clip (which a friend engineered for me until I can get to the mechanic) to the battery to start the fan so I don't overheat. (And believe me these days I overheat on my own quite well thank you very much :furious: ) So, since it's such a PITA to go anywhere I guess I will just stay home and clean apt., yuck! Cleaning out under the bathroom sink I find it's been leaking for gosh knows how long. Go to other room and come back to find suntan oil spilled all over bathroom floor (bottle fell over and my sisters dog had eaten the top off of it the last time I went to visit). Go to kitchen to get paper towels to clean up mess and decide to have a sip (from my full cup of coffee) when the cup slips out of my hands (from the suntan oil) and soaks the dining room table (and all the bills I need to pay) with nice warm coffee. All added to the fact that I hadn't heard from the wonderful man I met a couple months ago who I thought I was in  with. So, I decided to have a complete meltdown. Which really did nothing to help the situation! So, pulled myself together and sat in the :sunny: baking for a while. :goodvibes End of story.
Oh, BTW wonderful man called, came by, took me to dinner we talked now he has to earn some brownie points back.

THE END!

Good morning everyone! Just as soon as I posted, we heard fireworks going off, so I signed off for the night. We are lucky enough to be able to watch most everything from our bedroom window. Granted we miss lower stuff due to trees and homes, but for the most part we can see the fireworks. We watched those and went to bed.

The other fireworks from Columbus on Monday night, actually did not get canceled. The rain stopped just in time for it! So we had our full weekend of fireworks and parades... though we got very soggy ;)

Today I am off to help my choir director with a few things at church. Hopefully that won't take me too long to do this morning.

Going back a few days though...

Kimmar, I never could get that 2nd Youtube link to work. What was that one of?

Tara, the story of E throwing the blanket over him and going back to sleep made me smile. I have far too many mornings like that ;)

Sherry, I forgot to ask, which movies did you see this weekend at the drive in? And what did you think of Superman Returns?

And I also forgot to say, I loved reading everyone's answers that the posted about what they did/where they lived. really fun stuff to read!

Karen, I do hope you have a great trip to DC! I hope they won't wear y'all out too much having it so planned :)

Paula, your part of the post about Alyssa digging stuff really made me smile. Mostly because everything you had explained was something I would've had to ask anyway :teeth:

Automotive and electronic geekette!
That's about the nicest thing you've ever said to me Alan

Suzanne, sorry about your issues with scripts this past weekend for Neil. I've never been through something like that, but I can imagine how rough that would be.
Sorry I missed you last night too, I think you caught me just as my computer was shutting down.

To go into the serious stuff for a 2nd. I always thought that the CB was good for drivel too! And in all honesty what some people swear is drivel, really seems like substance to me. Threads like these are half drivel and half true substance to me (like real life, kwim?) I just don't get why some people feel like if they are ignored by a moderator with their inane requests, that they have to be childish about the way they deal with it. I hate conflict, but I will try to calmly talk things out when needed. I figure if that doesn't work, and I am unhappy somewhere, I'll just leave. But the passive-aggressive BS that some do really ticks me off!
There I had to say it, it's been bugging me since I saw the posts. Of course this is nothing against y'all, just my CB rant ;)

Did I mess up and post drivel yesterday though, Tara? :p :duck:

Suzanne, did you wind up going somewhere fun to watch the fireworks last night? Yuck on Ed having to be up early though. Luis wakes up after that, and even then we hate having to go places for fireworks. They normally start at about 10PM and ifyou go somewhere it is hard to get home before 11-midnight.

Tina, I hope they got the a/c fixed for you! Sounds like the temp is miserable in your house!
As for the pics, do you have a digital camera? If so, do you know how to send them via e-mail to someone? (just getting a good starting point)

But wait... I nearly missed this... Tara is as shy as a little flower? :rotfl: Uh huh.... :teeth:

Holy crap!!! HUGE Johnny & Orlando pic!!!! Very nice though :)

Bethie, wow, what a really busy day you had there!!!! I'll have to tease you though... there are many I know that claim ketchup does go with everything... even what you had :teeth:

I hate it when I am on a roll and the phone rings... so we'll see if I can pick this up and get to the shower...

Tara, have fun bowling today! Though I wonder if the older people are rubbing off on you since you can't remember what else you were going to do :p Hope Jarrod and Jay have fun at BG today!

Rose Mary, what a crappy day you had there! I hope it got better. Sorry about the man you hadn't heard from with in a while. I hate it when people do things like that. Good luck with the car too... hope that can be fixed soon.

I need to run off to the shower now... then I'll be off to church for a while :wave2:

We amuse each other very easily, don't we!!
\

Me thinks they were party: :drinking1 that night!

I shall continue to move along...................

:surfweb: Where's the coffee spitting smilie when you need it :rotfl: :rotfl2: (pg 291)

Tara, I just looked... it was the night that Pam, Kimmar and I were having a bit of fun!

I can say for myself, only, that there was no drinking involved.. believe it or not I was just very bored and lonely (Luis was in TN)

Rose Mary, I am glad we made you laugh though!

Showered so now I won't offend when I go to help Eric out :teeth:

Trying to get that post count up to 2000 so I can catch up with the rest of you motthy, cliquey, drivel smitten YoYo heads. Gonna take me forevah!

AND if I keep talking to myself you all will know I have really lost it!

Good Morning All....

I worked yesterday from 7am - 2pm - it was pretty busy plus one of our major accounts decided to e-mail over 25 service requests for Preventative Manintenace - monthly roof check - so I had to enter all of those. By the time I was done working I shut the computer off and walked away!!

I got a new desk from my office yesterday - my brother in law actually made it many, many years ago in HS shop class - it's oak. It really nice but I'm having some trouble adjusting - not sure if it's because it's older but it's too high so I'm definitely not comfortable to type - will try some rearranging today - maybe I need a booster seat!! :rotfl: Anyway - our afternon consisted of moving the office furniture around - our home computer is in the office also so we switched desks - etc.

While I worked in the morning Jeffrey went with his friend to put in the boat at the marina and do a bit of fishing - no "keepers". Chris of course out and about with friends - Alyssa was actually in the 4th of July parade - her BF dad has an antique truck - she had a great time.

And now for ketchup.....

Alan - congrats on the new arrival in the family!! Don't think that you can lurk around as a Chinese grandmother then tell us you had a Traditional" 4th of July....pick one!! :goodvibes

Elaine- sorry for soggy fireworks - hope they were worth it!! I hope meeting with your choir director goes well.

Tara...stripping,,,,stitching.....I am soooo confused.... :confused3

Rosemary - :sad2: hopefully yesterday filled your bad day quote for a good long time!! I hope the dinner was good though.

 JR Karen!!

Suzanne - figures your Target didn't have the furniture - hopefully you can find it at another store.

Kimmar - love the pics - keep them coming!!

Beth - ah the joys of retail ...working on a holiday - I'm right there with ya...

Tina....I would be glad to send you some of our rain...post haste!!
