Good morning, Ya Ya sistahs and bothers! I'm up and at 'em and rarin' to go! Unfortunately, everytime I try to "go" somewhere, the ice bag falls off my knee.

My friend Maggie, who has had this same surgery, assured me it was a piece of cake, 3 little holes, and showed me her teeny little scars. Whoo-pee!! I only have 2!!! I peeked when I woke up this morning and found the wrapping had slid almost all the way down my shin--they didn't tape it. Doesn't feel any worse than it did before the surgery, but I was warned there was numbing solution put in there and not to think I wasn't going to need the pain meds. We'll see. The good news is I still have 360º worth of minescus, it's just that it's only about 1/2 as thick as it should be. The bad news is the arthritis is worse than the doc expected, but he got interrupted and whisked off to his next surgery before he could elaborate. We'll find out more when I go next week to get the stitches out.
Whoo-hooo, Sherry, on only one week of school left for the boys! Thanks for the link, Clay looked positively awesome!!! What a voice that guy has!! Rainy day, here, too. Glad we stopped at the grocery store yesterday.
And Tara!! WTG on breaking 200 last night!! Glad to hear you got your ADRs all worked out, even if you weren't able to get LTT. Ya Ya prayer has proven to be pretty darn powerful, so we'll keep it going that everything works out for your trip.

Hope your head is feeling much better today.
I don't know, Laine, our Kimmie had pretty good luck at Wal Mart a coupla years back! Now you're telling Tara she could get lucky at Home Depot??!! Nice, then we'd have both a
WalMart Hoe and a Home Depot Hoe in the family.

Congrats, by the way, on your 10th First Date Anniversary!! I don't think it's silly, Dave and I still remember our first every year, too.

Hi, Jellybean!! I miss you!! Hope you are giving some more thought to a Halloween trip!! How about just a 3-4 day weekend? As long as you are there for the 29th and 30th, you should be able to catch all of us. Maybe??
Big

for Kevin on making HR all year, Suzanne!! Hope you treated him REAL good for lunch, he certainly earned it! How is Neil doing ? And how much longer till your store is ready for you to start running it on your own?
Nancy, I'm so glad Dave is feeling better and back at work. Sick men at home and underfoot is never fun, I know. Yes, the waiting and not even being able to have a glass of water was the worst! I guzzled 2 little cans of ginger ale at the surgery center and almost a quart of iced tea by the time we got home around 5. Then I had more with more ice, of course!! LOL!!! I still kinda feel like I'm not hydrated enough.
Laundry here, today, and creating some craft classes for Kids Camp at work for this summer. Gotta do some research on the internet, cuz I think I left all my craft books with my daughter when we moved. Oh well..... Catch ya'll later!! Have a supercalifragilisticexpealidocious day!
